[Resolved]  Tneb — Low Voltage of Power in Old Perungalathur

I hail from Ganesh Nagar - Old Perungalathur, Chennai and we are facing sleepless nights and days due to Low Voltage/Bad Power Supply. While Perungalathur is growing day by day with multiple houses and families, we don't see any steps/planning being taken from the Electricity Board in revisiting the number of transformers that is required to meet up the current and future infrastructures. Inspite of several letters and calls to the Assistant Engineer EB office Perungalathur, we still don't see any steps or visits being taken up for setting up any new transformers wherever required.

Today every month we end up spending for repairs on electronic appliances like Refrigerators, Television, Water Motor Pump, Air Conditioners, Microwave Oven etc., due to the low voltage supply most of the electronic appliances get spoiled and we end up spending our hard money on these, because of the voltage issue.

Before any construction of new houses/building, normally EB will be approached for electricity connection, so i am sure EB office would have an idea/statistics in terms o[censored]pcoming infrastructure growth. These issues could have been avoided if our officers in the EB had woken up to plan for the necessary fulfillment of the requirement with the data available with them for proper planning.

Nevertheless, request the concern officers to wake up and plan for the proper demand/supply requirement and implement the remedies well ahead of time.

Please help us to face the Peak/Heights of Summer in Chennai/Tamil Nadu.
