[Resolved]  Tour Operator — False Commitment

I had booked a vacation from CHRISON HOLIDAYS PVT. LTD. for Kerala. Mr. Jose, the Coordinator, presented an iternary with Hotel booking details, AC Indica Taxi and the charges. During the planning our trip was modified because of Railway Reservations and the same was conveyed to Chrison Holidays. After having detailed discussions with the Tour Operator, it was finalized that for booking confirmation we have to deposit 30% of the amount in advance and balance amount will be paid at the last destination. The same was deposited in their HDFC account no. received on my mail ID.

The trouble started when my family was checking out from our first destination i.e. Kovallam where the hotel asked me to pay for the stay. On speaking to the tour operator he asked us to pay for the stay and further he told us that the balance amount will be paid at final destination. Any how we settled the bill as we did not want our tour to get spoiled.

Further we were promised for Chrison Cruise for one night at Alleppy, but we were offered Alfa cruise and there also he asked us to pay for the cruise which we refused. Then he started abusing us on the phone and made racial, regional and derogatory comments with a threat to cancel our tour if we did not pay. He even called the owner of the Alfa Cruise Mr. Anthony, who in turn called me for the payment. I told Mr. Anthony to speak to the Chrison Cruise for payment related matters.

The Cruise offered to us was sub-standard and the room was too small to accommodate a family of 4 members which was communicated to him before doing bookings. The water in the toilet was dirty and the boat driver was also not listening to us. The cruise was stopped before the specified time.

Next day after the cruise, we moved for Thekeddy. After reaching Thekeddy we were about to check In the Hotel when the Taxi Driver asked me to do full payment of the tour which I refused. I asked Mr. Jose how he can ask for full payment as it was not in the contract. We told him that payment will be done at the last destination. Then he called up the Hotel Reception and cancelled my booking and also the whole tour.

So to summarize, Chrison Holidays:

• Make false promises
• Shows an indifferent attitude
• Did not gave the tour details until the day before the travel
• The facilities changed but the money remained same
• Unprofessional attitude, for them customers are fools and they are great themselves.

I advice to one and all not to use the services of this tour operator and request the competent authorities to take necessary action against Chrison Holidays Pvt. Ltd.

Our Reply towards the compaint of MR. Mandeep Abrol.


1. The traveller behaved and scarred us he is from Indian Military Service and He will do the payment at the Aiport he will depart ie, at cochin.
2. We have taken, 30% advance, and balance payment he is not willing to pay, even after using 75 % of his service, ie after reaching at Thekkady.
3. We kindly request him, to give a list of Travel agents, where he can go with 30% advance, and balance after using all the service at Airport.
4. By opting to use, this service, you can analyse, this persons motives.
5. We will take this into his higher authorities of his behaviour as he is from Indian Military, if he is willing to disclose, his identity,
6. We are citizens of India, and we know, our rights and Military Persons Rights.

Who ever read, this, kindly requested to provide your emails, we are proceeding the legal complaints against him and will forward the updation.

Thanks to Chrison Holidays for making my tour perfectly organized and booking the best hotels as per my requirements. Jose is very helpful and cool person.

Bit surprised by seeing the comments of Mandeep, in travel triangle and booklet of Crhison Holidays it is mentioned, remaining money needs to be paid at the starting of the tour, but we paid in Thekkady, which is in a way correct as it is near to the completion of the trip.

Even my friend Bala has takent he same package he is a happy customer to Chrison Holidays.

I certainly prefer this travels
