[Resolved]  TVS Apache RTR 160 — Self Starting & Kick Starting.

hi, my name is giri i have an apache rtr 160(yellow).
i purchase the bike in the year of date 09/10/2008 in srikalahasti tvs showroom.
now i complete my 5 th service i had an problem about self starting the mileage also reduced to 35 km/l.
so piz use qulity products.

Really I don't understand why there is a lot of problem with TVS Apache? the older version of the apache i guess had no problems. I too had a defective bike, all most half of the parts on my bike have been changed. Can't TVS guys give us a straight good bike. One problem is okay, but i saw so many problem in my bike & I come here & see so many persons have same problem. that's AWFUL. But again i would say 'APACHE is awesome bike to ride'.

Self Starting Problem

I am sunil kumar yadav. I have finished first 5 free servicing after that i have do 1st paid service (run 5570km & Bike No.BR1AH 9636) held on 31.10.2009 at good will Deni motor, Kankarbagh, Patna-800020.Then i have lot of problem in my bike in self starting. actually i would like to inform you that my bike self starting is not working therefore i am so worried about it. for this problem, i have done most of complain to nearest service center which is DENI MOTOR, KANKARBAGH, PATNA-20, I am going at service center for register complain at 27.01.2010 But there is no proper response.my bike is within WARRANTY period and warranty will be lapse after 02.02.2010.When this information i have given to service center.they are doing me some misbehave & say this will be solve today-tommorrow and i have not lot of time then i am request you to give me proper support and do solution regarding this Problem & taken some action against service center authorities.Now i don't have any vehicle to convey my official & personal.such a case i was sad with your service or manufacturing defects. i dont know, pl attend my express.
Kindly do needful in this regards.

I HAVE RTR 160 APPACHE.. NOW ITS STARTING MOTOR NOT WORKING NOW ... I WENT MY NEAREST DEALER N.P TVS KOTTAKAL.THE MECHANIC TOLD ME IN STARTING MOTOR ONE BRUSH HOLDER(ONE BLACK ROUNDED SHAPE WHICH MADE BY PLASTIC..IN SITUATED AT THE BELOW OF THE MOTOR)BROCKEN .I WENT THE PARTS SHOP IT WAS NOT THERE.THEY R TELLING TO ME THAT "REPLACE THE STARTING MOTOR"..ITS COST NEAR 4300..NOW MY BIKE IN WORK SHOP...I ESQUIRED KOZHIKKOD KOCHI.TRICHUR.SO PLZ HOW TO GET THE HOLSER..IF IT AVAILABLE OR NOT ..MY EMAIL ID [protected]@gmail.com please inform me
