[Resolved]  TVS Motors — NEW TVS WEGO

I have recently bought a TVS Wego about three months back in the month of April 2010.

Engine no. is 02394. Frame No.: MD626AG41A1C01371 Chassis no : 01371

Registration No. : MH43 AE 3439.

I have bought this vehicle from a retail shop called BIKEZ which is located at the following address : Bikez, 13-14, Laxmi C.H.S., Shop no. 6, Plot No. 7, opp. Seawoods railway station, Nerul (W) - 400706. Tel no.[protected].

I am absoluetly unsatisfied with the vehicle in terms of basic performance. Since the day I have bought this vehicle, I have faced nemerous problems. Startup issues, bike stopping after running for 1 kilometre or even less, etc.

I have reported this problem several times to the dealer (Bikez) too. I have always been given back the vehicle after saying there is some minor problem or so. But the day I take the bike out again the same problems persist.

The last time the bike was serviced at TVS KAPOOR AUTOMOBILES PVT LTD., Plot No. 121/122, Sector 11, Opp. M.G. Complex, Juhu gaon, Vashi, Navi Mumbai -400709.
Invoice number is 674. and jobcard no is 10794. The vehicle was kept with them for two weeks and then given back to me with full assurity that no more problems will exist.
But since two days that I got back my vehicle it is showing the same symptoms as before.

This has happenned for the fourth time in a row now. I am now pretty frustrated and I wish that I get a replacement vehicle for the same since it is very much within warranty. I am ready to talk to someone about this issue too, if you wish to contact me. My cell no. is [protected] and my name is NOEL GOMES.

I will no longer recommend anyone to buy a TVS bike and definetely not from BIKEZ, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

Dear Sir,

Can u help me in this matter and get the above number's name and address please.

Iam writing this complaint because, am little confusing and more irritating of this "UNKNOWN" person.

Hi This is Kiran Soni and even I have the same complain about TVS WEGO.
I brought this vehicle on 20/06/2010.The pick up is not good and the dealer assured that it wud give the average of 50km/ltr...but it is not at all giving the average of 50, instead it is just giving the average between 30-33km/ltr.
I had already given the vehicle in service twice to resolve the same issue but its still not resolved, , , , , , , , , I m realy frustrated and want this issue resolved or else want the replacement for the vehicle as soon as possible...

Hi This is Kiran Soni have purchased TVS WEGO on june 19th from SAI motors Ahmedabad since then facing a lot average/mileage problem, M really fed up of it, I was commited the average of 50 km/ltr instead it gives me only 30 km/ltr lot many times I went to Kataria motors located at Kankaria Ahmedabad for repair but still facing the same problem, kindly let me know is there any senior and efficient engineer in TVS company who can solve this average problem or else should I escalte this case in media, and also want an exchange of vehicle...I m realy frustrated and want this issue resolved or else want the replacement for the vehicle as soon as possible...I also want any company person to talk regarding the same please contact me on [protected]//[protected].

Everyone in family is cursing me why I have purchased this fullish scooter increased my mental pressure & emptied my pockets. Instead I purchased the New stylish RODEO & remain happy. My friend has Rodeo & she is very happy.

I am absoluetly unsatisfied with the vehicle in terms of basic performance. Since the day I have bought this vehicle, I have faced nemerous problems. Startup issues, Mileage, self start, batery problem, etc.


The last time the bike was serviced at CPL Motors, Okhla, delhi as on 15.05.2011.The vehicle was kept with them for one day and then given back to me with full assurity that no more problems will exist.
But since two days that I got back my vehicle it is showing the same symptoms as before.

My self ashish Sharma, I purchased TVS Wego on 9th sept 2010 i.e. more than a year.. I had faced a lots of problems. Starting problem has been a major issue among them. I complaint evrytime to the dealer and service station on its every service but every time I'had been assured that no more problem will come now. and more over once It suddenly got stopped and I called the dealer from there he sent his mechanic and the machanic also kicked a number of times then he open its chessy and after some hit and trials he started the wego and took it to the service centre and you will be surprised about the comments of dealer ..he said there was no problem at all my mechanic started it in a single kick .. see how cleverly they are making fool of the educated people even. then said. its ok its all is my fault that I am not taking it seriously.. I'll next time directly call its its toll free number and see ..AS OF NOW i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO PURCHASE TVS WEGO...PLEASE...
I am 100% agree with you. I am also facing same problems with TVS Wego in Delhi.
I am also facing problem with TVS Wego for last one year. I purchased it on Aug 2010. The vehicle stops many times while running . From 4th month after purchasing I am complaining to the company about it and for a replacement . But till now I am fighting for it. Each time the company engineer tunes the engine and says that there is no problem in the engine . They are not agreeing that there is fault in the engine. Neither they are giving assurance that this problem will not occur in future.
I am from Mumbai. I am thinking of putting complaint on Consumer court as I am fed up going to service stations with problems.

Hello, My Name is Sarang Bhadange, I purchased TVS Wego one year back from Pune Kalamkar Tvs, Hadapsar. I also faced same problems as mentioned above. Starting problem was with bike since purchased it. It was always giving problem to start with starter, and when I was doing the Kick start it was also taking 3 to 4 kicks to start, and my wife was not able to start it. The bike will suddenly stop at signals and will start on electronic starter. Dealer told me that they indentified problem with Corroborator pin and you will not face this problem anymore but still problem persist, I told this on every service.
Another problem i faced with Patrol indicator, Company claimed that it have 5 ltr of petrol tank when I am filling 2 ltr petrol the indicator showing as full.
Front suspensions are poor, if the bike goes in poor/ bad road, front suspensions are not enough for those roads.

I was using the TVS Scooty before for 10 years, so I purchased Wego from TVS but I will not recommend anyone to purchase the Wego now.
Myself Karmveer Singh. I wanted to buy TVS XL HD from Kunal Auto, the main authorized dealer of TVS motor in Rewari, Haryana. But when i asked TVS helpline than i knew that Kunal Auto charges 2000 rupees extra to company's official ex-showroom price. I get registered a complained against Kunal Auto to TVS helpline, complained reference no. is 15002. Helpline asked me to wait 24 hours to get a solution but i am still waiting for last 8 days (almost more than 172 hours), and there is no response from TVS officials. Services of this company are really worst than others. There is huge difference between the ex-showroom price officially and in reality. They just cheat customers.
