[Resolved] TVS WEGO — Regular Battery failure and Electrical complaints | |||
Hello, I’m Dhananjay from Chennai, last year January 2011 I bought a TVS Wego bike. In this last one year 3 times they had changed the battery after a more struggle from my end. In the mid of November 2011, they had changed the battery on 3rd time. During the 6th Free service (17th Feb 2012) they found the battery is gone faulty and asking me to take the charge. During the last change orally they confirmed that battery will have 1 year warranty and they had given assurance that the problem will not occur again. For a safer side I requested to either fix the issue or to replace the bike (or Buy back). I made a complaint through email and called up TVS support center for lot of time, but not received a acceptance/reply mail from TVS. Today they call back and said I have to pay the charges for replacing the battery as the warranty got expired. As a consumer, it’s not possible for me to change the battery for 2 months once. My request is either they have to fix the issue in this vehicle or buy back. I request the support for closing this issue. Thanks and Regards, Dhananjayakumar.T [protected].
