i lives in old lucknow there are many houses wihich dont have electricity connection or un paid huge due.
it is come to my notice that some people come to people houses and check the meter and bill and ask for bribe for not disconnecting meter and getting the pending money in the form of cheque. But the cheque is not mentioned the name of LESU and on some account number. which is very anambigious that account is belongs to lesu.

many people complaints against electricity board that are wrong reading wrong billing, bill payment, light cut, no connection, delay connection and others but who is responcible for that.public or board some time both some time board.if board take action timely it hope problems may be solve.board to do all action.but bill not paid in due time connection to be cut .if reader not take reading properly he should be under action.

We submitted the the application and copy of last bill paid. due to lineman misunderstanding he cut the power my house last 1 week. and he not come to connect the line. we request to connect the line.

I Krishan Kumar Pandey resident of Vill- Jafar Nagar, P.O. Gaddopur, Distt. Faizabad (U.P) is submitting information regarding illegal disconnection of electricity connection. Sir I am presently serving in Central Reserve Police Force and posted in Delhi for V.V.I.P. security. My widow old age mother living with my elder daughter. Today my self informed by my mother that at about 12 PM Five personnel came at my home and disconnected my electricity supply and cable also had carry with them which was purchased my self on the time of connection. After listen this kind of act by electricity board myself feeling un-convenience. So only I want to know that why this action was taken without prior information/notice.
I hope that you will take appropriate action on the matter and intimate about action.

I am pained to say earlier my electricity bill was deposited in this office through check even after two months. Now at deposit counter they demand Rs.300/. or more for depositing the same, I dont mind in paying even Rs. 300/. provided they provide the receipt of the payment.Also within/after every two months a meter reader used to come, reading the meter, furnishing the amount details, presenting the printed bills and taking the checks of furnished amount, and was deposited by the meter reader. Now no meter reader is coming and self meter reading is taken and the amount through check was tried to deposit but depositor wants Rs. 300/. for depositing and denying receipt for this amount.Is this Rs. 300/.is bribe or what this amount is. Please display clear instruction at deposit counter and receipt for every deposit may kindly be provided.Also meter reader as earlier should come and take the payment then and there through check.
