Further, the mechanical ruggedness of the vehicle compared to the price of Rs. 40000 is very poor. It hardly bears the roughness of Indian roads. And the biggest problem is to keep for charging upto eight hours for full charge of battery. If it is punctured, then a next problem arises, how to open the wheel ? wait for the service man, if he comes within time, then its ok otherwise put your vehicle there and go to your work...how nice is the situation..!!!

I Buy a new Velociti electric motor one year back, but the battery exhausted after 5, 000 kms. At the time of purchasing the vechile the battery cost is Rs. 5000. Now the same is Rs 8, 500. It means the cost per km is Rs 1.70 ruppe without electic charging. But the manufacturere has mentioned the cost of driving is only 50 paise/km.
Puchased Ultra Motor Marathon Model on 30.10.2008. The vechicle were working
smoothly. 30.09.2009 Ultra Motor- Marathon suddenly Breakdown. I conduct the dealer in Salem.
They analysed and told Controller of the vechicle were breakdown and also told to me that replace it.
In Salem Dealer, They have no controller at stock so Ordered the company and replaced
with in 10 Days. But Till Now they are not responding me. Every Time I conduct them, they told
Controller Not received from the Company.
In the Same Answer repeated many times. How long I wait to replace ? Ultra Motor is a
Big Growing company in UK. Why the Constumer Support is very less ? I Told to my friends and
relatives the Vechicle were save my money. They are Interesting to purchase. But Now I am not
satisfied your service. How to I recommend this vechicle to purchase ?
So, I request to you replace the controller as soon as possible. I and waited more than 30
Days and Now reported to you.

I also experienced the same i.e. within a drive of 4000 km the batteries exhausted. Further workshops are making fool of customers by saying company batteries are not available so try another make.
In my case I have made a written complaint to ultra motors India two months back. Yet they have not replied they might be busy in designing a good battery for future.

I purchased velocity 2 years back. Only after 4500 km run, batteries exhausted. The vehicle is not suitable for Indian roads. When it punctures, then it is very difficult to get service by a nearer workshop because they do not know how to open the wheel!!! New battery costs high nearly 8.500 Rs. With this experience, how would I like to recommend this vehicle to others? I want to request the company that the main strength of these kind of vehicles is battery, so try to increase the capacity of batteries otherwise people will prefer petrol vehicles.

After changing the battery I find it difficult its milage has dropped to 20-23 Km/per charge and hardly lasted for six months with gradual decrease in mileage. Right now it gives just 5 kms. I am staying IIT Powai. I could see any dealers for this near by. But could locate a dealer in Nerul, who shows least response to service the vehicle. Really it is too hard to bear the problems with this bike and service. I am ready to sell the bike if any body interested do contact me ([protected]).

this is written for my neighbor who bought an electric scooter from vijaya motors, from their aluva, ernakulam dealer. He also lost his battery within 1 year and 4000Km. This I heard from many people whom we met at service station, when we went to repair the same. Neither I dont understand about the economy they are saying about, nor their claims about reliability. I Saumendra Kumar Prusty hav a VELOCITY SCOOTER from ULTRA MOTORS, M/s-Adinath agency, cuttack, Orissa-753001, phone no-[protected], [protected] and i purchesed it on Aug'2009 and our battery is damaged since last 1month and your distributer is continusly playing with me that i wil giv you today, tomorrow etc., and some deplomatic answer was there also and now he did demand from me that you hav to give Rs.6000/- and when i asked him that why then he replaied me that your battery cost was Rs.7000/- and after 8months the free replacement guarenty has gone thats why you have to give 30% of old battery cost as per company rules and now we have changed our battery distributership and currently we deals in EXSIDE batteries so it's cost is Rs.10900/- so after deducting the amount you have to give Rs.3900+Rs.2100=total Rs.6000/- and since last 1month i hav losed my money, time, workorder etc., so how i can manage this much of amount in 10month of purchase.

YA its true ULTRA MOTORS ARE CHEATS!! after putting your trust into them they repay you by not giving spares ..poooooorrrr quality of parts !! The back tyre cant even be removed for puncture repair ... which designed this bloody scooter ..stupid jackass's . i have used this vehicle for 8000k and now it gives a mileage of 30kms which is pathethic as it just been 1.5 yrs and i have taken really good care of my bike! Most of the parts broke which i had to do jugaad and fix .. y ?? coz they dont have the bloody parts!!

I purchased a ULTRA VELOCITY in NOV'09 from BOKARO STEEL CITY..I was promised that all the sevicing will be provided in BOKARO.They also take money for registration .But till date no sevicing done .They are also not able to get registration in jharkhand BEcause they are not authorised to issue form no 21 necessary for registration.
