The builder does not provide you the electricity but the the electricity board does. Please contact the company that provides you electricity for the increased rates of electricity, as this looks like an overlook from their end. In all of the Unitech properties, the apartments are not handed over to the consumers until they are complete with electricity and water connection. I am sure there has been some misunderstanding between you and the Unitech officials. Please contact the appropriate authorities in Unitech and I am sure your issue will be resolved as soon as possible.
