[Resolved]  Unitech Verve — NO possession

Friend, I purchased in 2008... Visited the site a month back... Hardy any work going on... Even the basic infrastructure has become so bad that even if they complete the building, the pipes will leak and everything will just rust. We need to be compensated at 18%. Let's fight together.

The delays in real estate projects are the same for all the real estate developers across India. With different state governments coming up with crazy rules everyday, its really a hard time for real estate developers. But Unitech is the second largest real estate developer in India and have been in business for almost 40 years. You are not going to be duped by them. So just have patience and faith in the company. As far as the penalty payment due, the companies mostly deduct it from your last installment. So relax because patience pays.

I visited the verve premises on 12th Feb 2012 only to be told by the care taker there that the work is halted for the last several months...since there is some dispute with the contractors. I also applied to a bank to reduce my EMI interest rate and the bank flatly refused saying that Unitech Verve is a black listed property. We bought this property believing in unitech brand but are now repenting badly. Calls never get answered. I posed as a decoy customer planning to buy unitech verve, but was being dissuaded by the marketing and sales team and they started giving other options...

I am in the same situation. Fully paid the amount end 2009. THere is no clear response to queries and letter to Unitech are unanswered. I suggest we file a class suit in consumer court.

We booked the same in 2008 and still there is no information as to when they will handover the possession and our letters are unanswered.
there is no way but to file case for compensation and cheating / fraud by the management. It would be better all o[censored]s unite and do the needful by appointing some senior advocate who can pursue the matter pronto.

Hi all unitech verve buyers. We are forming a Group who will get the answers from unitech for its all illegal activities they are doing in this project. We have all the details. So we have already more than 50 people in this group. Call me [protected]. Fight for injustice

Unitech Verve, Greater Noida had promised possession of flats in 2009. That is within 3 years of starting the project in 2006. I have paid installments on due dates and completed 90 % payment in 2009. Since then I keep writing to Unitech to let me know when we can expect possession. I also visit the site in Greater Noida regularly. The last visit was about 4 weeks back. No work is going on at site. The structures are just standing. Interiors and exteriors are unfinished. Unitech sales persons do not respond and are constantly changing. Senior management are never available or approachable and do not respond to letters.

I am now writing to them to refund my money with 18 % interest as there is no hope of possession in the foreseeable future. I am also advising my friends considering Unitech fresh launches of properties to be beware and not invest in Unotech. Many Unitech projects like Verse, Greater Noida is in Doldrums. The company is not ethical and mis utilising funds.

Friends lets get together and apply pressure. Use social media to spread the message that Unitech is not at all a reliable builder and is likely to misappropriate buyers funds and delay new projects launched projects indefinitely.Also write to Unitech to refund money with interest.

The current law favors the Builders. The contracts we are made to sign at the time of buying is also skewed in favor of builders.The only procedure is to for customers / investors o[censored]nitech Verve to get together and apply pressure moral and legal and take following actions.

1. Publicize thru word of mouth, social media, emails etc.the fact that possession is delayed by 4 years .
2. Publicize the fact that Unitech as builders are untrustworthy and does not care to reply to telephone calls and letters.
3. No information is given to customers regarding status and plans for completion.
4. As on date no work is progress. The structures are standing like ghosts.
5.Ask new customers not to invest in new Unitech properties and not lockup their monies in Unitech properties.
6 Write to Unitech by registered post to refund monies paid with 18 % interest. 18 % is what they charge their customers for any delayed payments.
7. Keep up the pressure on regular basis.

Unitech Verve Project is still not showing any progress. Nor is there any communication from them. They do not respond to letters and phone calls. Other investors in this property should please continue to use every possible forum to put pressure and imform anyone thinking of investing in new Unitech projects to be beware.

Friends the progress at Unitech Verve like many other Unitech projects is just not there. Unless we get together and apply collective pressure we will continue to suffer.Please come forward.

Friends, we need to come together and fight back. I visited the site 4 weeks back, and the building are standing like a Ghost... Neither is there any reply to any of my queries... For many months i have also seen such forums, but no final action. I talked with laywers also, and they say the only method is to get justice is to form form and represent to consumer forum... i am also calling [protected], to see in case of any progress...

I also invested in this project in 2006/2007 and paid up all installments by end of 2009. I see that this forum was started in 2012 and I wish I had seen it then. I have gone through the same experiences as other members of this group and have been frustrated with this huge investment made with our hard earned money.

Was a group formed and complaint made to the consumer complaints commission? I would like to participate if it's still possible.

I booked in 2006 and paid 11th installment in 2009. I was promised possession within a year. Till date, I have no news. Every year they have delayed. We should all get compensation.

we need to fight this out together. I also have an apartment in verve. Have got the notice of possession, given all the money but its over 3 months no work has started. I also have a apartment in verve. I have been visiting site every year, it's not moving.everythime they say same thing possession by end of the year and it's been 7 years now. I also have a flat in Verve Tower 4, 901 There is no possession likelyhood. Already there are cases filed for Unitech Verve compensation by fellow owners.
