Childrens Gift Growth Fund — Payment not received after redemption

I have submitted the original documents for redemption of my Childrens Gift Growth Fund which happens to have been matured in 2002 but there was no contact from UTI.
After submitting the documents on 19th June 2008. I was told that the payment will be made by cheque in 3 weeks time. I have not received any cheque as yet. The officers (Mr. Amar/Miss Lalita) in the concerned dept. at Belapur office are of no help at all.

UTI-Children Gift Growth Fund, 1986 — Status of investment unknown

On 14.11.94, had purchased 800 units o[censored]TI-Children Gift Growth Fund, 1986, in the name of S.Suhasini, my daughter, who was just one year old then. Certificate number is[protected] Until recently, we were under the impression that the investment is very safe. Maturity date given is 28.10.2014 (ie: maturity after 20 years of investment).

Am now panicky about this investment. I want to redeem the Units at this stage. I also have another similar certificate in the name of second daughter, purchsed in 1996. In the first instance, I want to redeem the above mentioned Certificated Units. Please advise me accordingly.

I made tele calls to the UTI branch in Hyderabad but then they are not responding to my calls. Sometime back, one person even said that it is "closed" and asked us to approach their Chennai address!.

Please respond to this mail. Am very anxious.

UTI/Children's Gift growth fund — Non receipt of money

Sir,

My u ncle had bought Children's gift growth fund-1986 o[censored]TI .They were suppposed to mature in 2005 and a maturitybond had to be sent at the address we had given in the form.But now the address had changed and the bond was returned to the company.

We are financially not very sound and need the bond so that we can cash it for money .Please help me as to how it can be cashed .
