[Resolved]  Uti Technology Services Limited — Non-receipt of Maturity Proceeds

Sir/Madam,

I have procured 600 Units o[censored]TI certificates with unit Cert.No: M[protected] (Cumulative growth) with date of termination on 1st Dec 1997. Scheme Nos: 1) MISG90 2) MISG90 II Folio No: M[protected]

We have changed the address of residence from Adoni (AP) to Rajahmundry (AP) before the maturity of the Certificate and forgotten about the certificates. So, after realising the fact, we have written to UTI for payment in 2008.

But to our surprise, we got a reply saying that the maturity amount for both schemes were sent to us and the UTI office gave us the cheque numbers and said the amounts paid on 21 Jan 1998 and 14 Feb 1998.

But we never received any intimation, as we had changed the address.

But now, how can the payment be made without we receiving the cheque???

Now we want the UTI to give complete details as below:

1. Cheque Numbers
2. Date of the cheques
3. To which address they have sent the cheques
4. From which bank the cheques have been claimed for encashment
5. To which account the cheque amounts have been credited (to check whether that is our account or not?)
6. Calrify whether the cheques are account payee cheques.
