[Resolved]  Vasavi builders, chennai — Unprofessional/ totally confused bunch of people starting with the director

i have booked one flat in aaram and as of now construction is going as planned and also i got a information that 90% of aaram flats were already booked.. Quality is no so good, its average, but you can only expect the same from all the buliders.. But i got a fear while reading all this comments..

I have booked a falt in Vasavi Majestica, but now I cancelled for the delay in construction. They had given only PDC for the money refund, on the date of PDC they called up in the early morning and told that "don't deposit the check wait for some more days. We don't have money in our bank account". I have booked in another apartment, i'm struggling to pay for that. I was expecting that the check would get cleared, but now it's become an big issue. I'm really confused about this. Could any one please suggest me what to do. How to get back my maoney at the earlier.

Mr Ragavan - any luck with your PDCs. I am stuck with Vasavi and they are holding my advance amount.

Ragavan any updates, I am also following up with Vasavi for my cancellation refund.

Send Legal Notice. Then they will expedite payment for cancellation.. Else you will have to run from pillar to post..

Have anyone recently cancelled (few months before)the apartment booked in Vasvai and got your money back.
They don't even specify the time to give the money back. What other things we can do to get our hard earned money back..?

Vasavi is total fraud. There are a lot of complaints all over the various complaint forums. If someone knows well placed police officers/lawyers, its time to take them to court. They have taken money from a lot of people. They neither complete the building nor do they give the money back. People are just stuck.

hai im one of the offender of vasavi majestica, now they r asking extra 3lks till sep 2011 i was following them and for past 4 mnts i coidn't so now they r asking extra amt, my well-wisher is a lawyer if im going to file a complaint against them how many o[censored] ppl come forward to do this pls let me know bcos im terribly angry on them waiting for 2 long yrs and thy r asking extra money

Hi All, I will create a email group and lets bring all the customers together across the projects of vasavi. We will file various case together against them... and cost can be shared equally. It will ease our effort to get the handover or return the money with interest...

Dear all,
There was delay in majestica due to non receipt of approval from cmda.They have got the approval but due to some unknown reasons they had delayed the project.As there was so much delay and they also want to finish this project sooner they have given the construction contracto to a reputed construction company Elite construction.The deadline given is dec 2013 with a grace period of 3 months.
Even next to majestica is purvankara windmere which was launched in 2008 and had faced the same problems and now only they have started constructing block 1 with completion date of april 2014 and rest of blocks with a completion date of 2016.

Majestica already basement work is completed till block 5 and piling work started for other blocks.

I believe there is no work happening in Majestica Apartment. Rather now the focus is shifted to Villa's. All money is routed there ...

I haven't looked these comments earlier.. I have made a booking at Majestica project in Nov'13. Fortunately, I have paid only lesser amount instead of 10-15% as booking amount. However, when I get the legal opinion from my lawyer, the flat I have booked already has an encumbrance, wherein the flats have been mortgaged with another vendor and cancellation of sale deed hasn't happen.. When followed up with Vasavi, they were quoting many reasons for not yet cancelling the existing sale deed and asked me proceed further to pay the 20% amount. Fortunately, I haven't paid & yet waiting the for clearance.. Also, it seems the project would get extended for another 4 years to get completed. I also got an information that Vasavi hasn't have sufficient funds; rather no funds to proceed with the construction. I am deeply irritated with Vasavi as they have tried selling a flat which has an encumbrance and without shame they are asking to proceed with the sale deed without cancelling the existing sale agreement with the other vendor.. This is the first time I have initiated to book a house & it's a very bad experience... Now, I need to chase behind these guys to get my booking amount :-(

@maddy79 - You should send a legal notice from your lawyer.. You will get your funds faster

Please don't go with Vasari builders at any cost and don't get foolish. They are not worth to build house. I bought flat on 2011 which suppose to be completed on 2013 Oct . But after they get 95 % amount totally stopped the work and still fighting with them.
