[Resolved] Virgin Mobile — sim card documents misplaced | |||
i had purchased a virgin mobile sim card around 2 years ago (no. is [protected]). Last month my cell phone got stolen and i went to the virgin mobile store in Fort to get a new sim card with the same no. First of all i called the customer care no.[protected] and they did not know where their service centre was. So i had to go to four different service centres before finally going to Fort. On reaching there i realised the sim card was registered on some random person's name. having submitted all the documents and a photograph our documents were nowhere to be seen. I have the sim card kit with me and so on that basis they issued me with a sim of the same no. Again i submitted a new set of documents. 2 days later my sim was blocked and again i had to go to their centre in fort. They are saying my verification failed, so again i submitted a fresh set of documents, filled another form and the lady there told me it would start working in three days. It has been more than 2 weeks now, my sim is still blocked and they are saying it's not their fault. I asked them to return my documents since they are not doing anything anyway but that too have not been returned. On top of that they are arguing with us and trying to prove its not their fault. i would like all my documents back and atleast some compensation for all the times i had to go and fight just for a sim card.
