Online I applied to Reliance for Broadband+. As Reliance had agency arrangement with Vriti Infocom Pvt. Lt., the lead was forwarded to them. Virti personnel came to my house. I was given a Data Card under plan Brdbnd2GB12MAdv7401 against payment of Rs.7401 and after collecting my ID-residence proof. For one month the service was OK. Now, my connection is disabled. I called on Broadband Customer Care No.[protected]. I was told that my data was not uploaded in the system and hence I not a customer of Reliance. I should contact to Vriti for solution. Since Virti is agent of Reliance and for action of duly authorised agent, principal is fully responsible. I request TRAI to look into the fraudulent act of Reliance’s employees and impose punitive action against them.
