I booked a Dell laptop from timtara.com on june 10th. 2012 and made payments by credit card since there was no option for COD. After 18-20 days I was informed that the model I booked after selection from their site was not available with them and I was offered another one with an extra payment of around Rs. 3500/, for which I refused and got my order cancelled. At the time of cancellation they told me that the refund will be made with in 7-10 days but, since than even after more than 10 months ,the refund has not been made.
I have booked so many times my complaints on their site but they do not give any response. I also called them with telephone again and again and the customer care every times tells that the refund will be made in a week or so. Even the person on telephone once asked me to do whatever I want to do in terms of making complaint elsewhere or to opt for any legal action.
This online shopping site, i.e., "timtara.com" claims to be number one in customer's experience but, I am sure they are making money only by cheating the customers after getting payments by their credit cards. I have not only suffered a great financial loss, but also have beenvery much annoyed with these people.
