[Resolved]  Yamaha - India, MRF Tyres — Responsibility towards the consumer

Sir/madam,
i am a consumer of yamaha, currently using two yamaha motor bikes Rx135(1999 model) and a Fz16(2009). I bought ma fz on 7th jan 2009 from yamaha Bargarh. My running is too low and have covered only 6000 km in last one year.
10th of this month i met an odd incident. I was on ma fz on a state highway on a speed of 76 km/hr when my rear tyre(140 section tubeless) bursted out with an explosion without any cause. Luckly i survived a major accident.
I reported this problem to the yamaha dealer, but as usual not only they reacted like ignorant but also didnt do anything to care my problem. Then i directly contact the MRF people and send my tyre for inspection but their reasults are not only disheartning but when i talked to their service engineer he refused to take any kind of responsibility even if it might have costed me my life.
Now if you are using this kind o[censored]nhealthy products which can cause loss of lives then stop menufecture those products.
I am not only going for a consumer case againt MRF but also against YAMAHA.
By the way i am myself a mechanical engineer, so hope some responsible action from YAMAHA.

thank you

Sir,
The two tyres which we procured five months back one among them is wearing out inordinately and the agent who sold the same though initially agreed to supply FOC fresh tyres have back tracked presently for, we were told to change the tyres initially to change the tyres and find out whether the same is happening in the other tone. Since the changed tyre is found intact we presume that the quality of rubber is compromised. Where are we to go and whom are we to approach for the genuine redressal of our grievances. The tyres are procured vide JAS Tyre Mannarkkad bearing No . [protected] Please advise suitably failing which we would be approaching the consumer protecting forum
Even I am using YAMAHA FZ-S. I have covered around 5600 on my bike in 5 months & I go for rides on good roads only. But suddenly one day the rear tyre of my bike got punctured & it got so badly punctured that the tyre has got torn almost 2-3 cms. The tyrre can't be mended now, I'll have to buy a new one. This time I'm gonna buy a PIRELLI tyre & not MRF.

yes, my dear friends u all r right that MRF tyre is worst for yamaha fz-s. firstly i change my new tyre in 3 months afterwards i bought one more MRF tyre that tyre used only 14000kms.now i bought new PIRELLI tyre it is nice for my bike & we want to put more amount to that tyre it exactly cost around 6000 for both front & rear .(USE ONLY PIRELLI TYRE FOR YAMAHA FZ)

I got a FZ 6 months back and the rear tyre has got 9 punctures till date. Done 6000 kms till now. the last puncture has turned out 2 ba big tear whic is almost 3cms long. I have to go for new tyres now. Decided to fit a Pirelli SuperDemon upsize 140/70. MRF tyres are the worst in the market for bikes and cars.
Even i too facing same problem with tyres
