1. On August 4,2013 I purchased a Gitanjali Gold earring ( product No EGER024) from http://www.yebhi.com for Rs 7299.00 vide order No YBH4120987. Full advance payment was made in through Credit Card.
2. The confirmatory mail from Yebhi.com, received immediattely after stated that the product will be dispatched in 10 days.
3. However, the product was not dispatched in 10 days. I drew the attention of Yebhi.com towards this delay throgh a mail dated August 14, 2013 to their customer care. In reply mail dated August 16, Yebhi.com revised the dispatch time of the product to 15 days from the date of placing the order.
4. Meanwhile rising gold prices left me worried. However, I again got a reassurance mail dated August 20 , 2013 from Yebhi.com stating that here is a slight delay in dispatch of order and the product will reach me at the earliest.
5. In my mail dated August 22, 2013 , I asked Yebhi.com why the booking of the item has been accepted at the first place when the item was not available or the company was not in the position to supply?
6. In reply dated August 24, Yebhi informed that they have forwarded my query to their team with reference number YBCSA114909 and matter will be resolved in 2 days.
7. Since than, there has been no response in spite of my reminder dated August 29th , 2013 threatening them with legal action. Yebhi has neither delivered nor cancelled the order. Worse still, no one from customer care called or wrote to explain the position. With rise of gold prices, the item that I booked for Rs 7300 is now Rs 8000.
8. It is evident that Yebhi.com is not interested in resolving the dispute and more interested in taking customers for the ride. The only option now available to me is legal action. Hence I am making this complaint to seek your intervention to resolve the dispute and penalise the company for lack of service and unfair trade practice.
