[Resolved]  Zara, India — Defective Shoes

I Purchased a pair of Grey high heel shoes from a Zara outlet in Saket, New Delhi in November 2010. After being worn just 3 or 4 times over a period of 2 months I noticed that the heels had faded and turned white. Since I had saved the original receipt, I went back to the store expecting them to repair/replace the shoes or at least issue a credit note since the product was clearly defective. But I was curtly told that there was nothing that could be done about it since they only exchange products within one month, although the store manager accepted that the heels were defective. I was given a customer care phone number and email id and was told that there is no customer care representative I could speak to in person. After an email and numerous phone calls I received no reply for 45 days. Even then I was told very conveniently that this was just a case of 'wear and tear'. I assure you that no mishandling took place on my end, and if you see the attached pictures you'll see that the whole shoe is in perfect condition except for the heel area ;which would not be possible if the shoe was indeed mishandled. I was highly disappointed by this behavior as being an international brand customers have high expectations of quality and integrity from them. I would really like to take this up with whatever higher authorities you can recommend as I truly feel my rights as a consumer have been deeply violated. Please provide whatever assistance or guidance you can, I would truly appreciate it. I have saved all receipts and email correspondence for future use.

hi .. i have been having issues with zara clothing, can u provide me with the customer no.
the obly solution is never again to buy zara stuff, the quality is not upto the mark, there are much better brands than zara.

I am a resident of Electronic city and i went for a formal suit shopping on 11/10/12 to ZARA in phoenix market city, Whitefield.Before going to the shop i had asked a host to confirm if they had formal suits and i was answered in affirmative.So there i was after an hour in the shop, i must say that there was a lady whose name i am forgetting did help me a lot and i was delighted that time but after I paid an amount of INR6700 (approx which is a heavy amount considering that i am a student), i was told that they do not give suit cover, this was really surprising as it is what every company provides and every customer expects.On top of that the cashier told me in a very rude way that they apparently do not provide covers for ladies formal suits(as if we are some ).I asked him to call his manager on his suggestion only and he made a pretense of calling the manager who never appeared, then the story told by the cashier was that the lady standing next to him all the while on the purchase counter is also a manager.

I do not understand why cant a brand like ZARA provide an essential thing like a cover for suit and why cant they train their employees, they(cashiers) were complete snob as if they are doing some pity on me.

I want to take this up with the customer care.Could anybody help me.

This to inform you all dt recently i got my pant exchanged from Zara saket on 12/3/13 at 19:12 trans#121569 (UN#[protected] worth 2790rs so yesterday while i was going to office i realised dt the pants is ripped right beneath the zip area...i was completely shocked and had no idea wt to do so i called Zara saket and talked to sum female manager Alan she says dt manager for man's section is on off and his name is abishek...anyways i want to know how cud u sell cloths like these ...DOES YOUR CLOTHS GOES THRU PROPER QUALITY CHECK BECAUSE I USE OTHER BRANDS CLOTH AS WELL AND NEVER HAD SUCH I DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE...

I HAD NO OPTION BUT TO GO TO OFFICE IN THE SAME WAY AND HAD TO DO SUM TEMPORARY FIX..

i HAVE ONE MORE COMPLAINT REGARDING THE BEHAVIOUR OF STAFF (*SPECIALLY THE THE MANGER) AT ZARA PACIFIC MALL AT KHAYALA -PACIFIC MALL) ON 11/3/13 at 21:00 i went there for the pants exchange and the manger over there(i do not remember his name but he reports to RAJ and raj was on off on dt day)..this chap has harassed me, embarrassed me and he wasn't help at all...on top of that he threatened me that Ur pant wud not exchanged as he is working there for the last 3 years and he as old in Zara as is in India...he was very rude and same pant i got it exchanged next day at saket Zara (this the same pants which is teared later on)


So i want to understand couple of thing why the staff for the different Zara showroom show attitude and behave hesitant while dealing with ppl buying cloths from different Zara showroom located in different malls...and do u guys take strict action against the defaulters????
This Dude was acting so smart i couldn't believe that, i wanted to give him a tight slap but i couldn't as i cum from sophisticated family...he was checking the pants with bioscope and was pin pointing on each and every thing...i so so furious

Did any one of you manage the cust care no? Pathetic that the store staff directs you to the cust care and don't provide a no to call on.
I have a zara shirt gifted to me and the size is smaller. Had visited the phoenix mall store to have this exchanged. The tag is intact but do not have the bill.

The request was to authorize exchange. Art : 7545/364/401 as i am unable to produce the bill.

We are not happy with the customer service provided as i had to travel to the store and the store manager did not resolve it.

Have sent multiple emails to [protected]@in. Inditex.com but they are not ready to exchange the size saying there is there is no problem with the product.

I am unable to use this, they are not ready to exchange not sure what can be done. Please help
I took the shoes from Zara showroom 4 months ago, it has been cracked.

Bought a Zara Shoe few months back and hardy used paying a huge price and would have worn hardly 4-5 times and it was embracing that i was being pointed the shoes being ripped off at the sides. The Customer Service at zara refused for refund or a return here inspite of sharing the digitals and a valid bill copy.

paying a huge price and didn't even last a year and would been better off to buy any non branded which would be still lower the price and am sure would have lasted better than here! I dont recommend buying from Zara as their quality standards are very low.
Recently I bought “Zara joyful tuberose” 100ML perfume from weekend collection from surat store of 990rs. I came to know it smells completely different from what tested in the store.
I live in another city and the purchase is now a waste. Totally disappointed
Have bought pants last week from Zara phoenix market city Kurla Mumbai store.lost the bill.called the store .product is intact with pricetag and in saleable state.store says can't allow exchange nor refund unless approval done by company.
Kindly help settle the issue .
