1) Purchase date: Sept 27, 2012 (Seagate backup plus portable 1 TB Hard Drive)
2) The product stopped working after 6 months of purchase
3) I tried to locate the service centre in bangalore (only 1 exists)
4) Beside all these facts (also that my HD is under warranty) I went for replacement on: May 11th, 2013)
5) The company policy for warranty is they will replace the disk under warranty without any fee. Still they provided me no such facility and requested me to collect from a local place.
6) The part of bangalore where the office is not at all apt for a lady to go alone, and still I have already gone there twice just to hear the disk didnt come. It was promised to be delivered in 10 days, and it was not availale at the shop for 45 days..
7) Nobody answers the phone mentioned on their forms. When I mailed them a stinker saying I would take this to consumer forum, they reply that the disk was couriered on 17th July at my office address I provided. It has been now 1 months now already and I havent received nor can I track the same on the identification provided by them.
Plz help me, I have spent 6000 rs/- on the same and I am not getting any response from the company.
