The Coolpad Quattro will not initiate a call using a Bluetooth device. So while driving you have to take out your phone, start it, unlock it and procede to dial. While other cell phones allow you to press the Blutooth button once and say " Call Home".
This should be a big safety concern to everyone as it is illegal to operate your phone with your hands while operating a motorvehicle.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE FOR YOUR CHILDREN THAT DRIVE. YOU ARE SETTING THEM UP FOR DISASTER..Either a ticket or accident.

I am sure this can be corrected by udating the firmware in the phone. This feature works on other cell phones with these 3 BT headsets and is a problem with the Coolpad Quattro phone.

    I Purchased Coolpad mobile Model E230 Coolpad vide IMEI/ESEN RCPHSCO10000636 from Reliance World sector 18, Noida which is still
    under warrantly was given to Ambe electronics Sector 18, the authorized centre of Ambe electronics on 18th June, 2012 has not been got repaired. I talked so many times, they say they have not received the parts from the company. I talked to company executive of Coolpade MR. Kuldikpt his mobile No.[protected] could not answer properly even told that service station shall lodge the demand am a marketing person.

    I very fed up who shall take care of such bluffing company coolpad or reliance world who is selling such type of cheap products.

      I have purchased one handset from Reliance's Pimpri outlet. From the first month of purchase the instrument started giving trouble. When i approacched the outlet for service they are unable to provide th service and asked to go to other outlets, then i went to Nigidi outlet near Lokmanya Hospital. From there also didn't get any positive response.

      I dont' know where to go now ? If somebody cannot give service facility why they are selling the electronic product ??

        0.3M camera
        Powerful capacity (200 contacts, 200 SMS, etc.)
        It is the worst handset in the telecom industry….
        Not recomended STRONGLY……
        I had purchased it from Reliance web world at our place.
        Mr.Movin the salesman / representative of the company had big mounth for the handset that it is a worthy phone as it has video recording facility, good battery life. But it is realy worst phone.
        Features….
        1. does not have battery to make call i[censored] have made 2 calls it runs down.
        2. NO VIDEO RECORDING FACILITY.
        3. cant even take good pictures as it saya that it has 0.3M camera.
        4. cant change backgrounds.
        5. cant connect to net as it was mentioned by (Mr. Movin)
        I would request the users not to purchase the phone instead to buy some hadnset paying few more amount.
        Reques the COMPANY to look into tha matter as I would like to take it to the consumer forum cause as the phone has no features mentioned in the user manul similar to the features in it….

        coolpad — replacement of faulty handset

        dear sir,
        i have purchased coolpad 2938 from reliance web world (juhu) on 22nd aug 2009, invoice no.-[protected] & submitted to service centre on 4th sept 2009 due to fault in the motherboard in that handset.after approx 2 months that handset was not repaired due to unavailability of parts.they suggested me to replace this handset from juhu web world.i went their & requested to replace it with blackberry handset because the service centre of coolpad has not a single parts & in web world there were many complaints for this handset. they refused & told they will give coolpad only.i am your postpaid customer from last 7 years.sir if this will be your attitude than how far i can with you. sir i request you to replace it with black berry.

        coolpad — unable to input my code to unlock

        My coolpad is fed with an anti theft code and when the mobile got switched off and later when I put it on,it seeks for the code but there is no means to input the numeric or alfa-numeric values as there is no key pad! I wonder how this master piece works?Can anybody help me out?

          I had purchased coolpad handset-2938 in sept-2010 from Reliance Web world at DAKC,Navi Mumbai.

          Since date of purchase it was given for different types of service to M/s Accelfrontline Services Ltd, at Commerce centre, Tardeo, Mumbai as under,

          Last time it was returned with remark that wrranty is over and it was so damaged that mother board has to be replaced, which cost 60-70% ot total hand set cost.but I am of the mind that problem is begin in july-2010 only when it was submitted for "Not Blinking"-complaint

          Than this complaint was forwarded to higher level at Reliance communication, but it was returned with remark that Reliance is involve in trading of handset and no service is warranted by its chain store.

          from your site i found that there are more than 50 complaints against coolpad handsets

          you are requested to do the needful at the earliest.

            I have purchased a coolpad phone from Reliance Webworld, Lajpat nagar , New Delhi on 27.07.2010 and find some charging problem in the phone on 26.08.2010, I had visited Rliance webworl for the same they guided me to go service centre located at 601-602, ashok bhwan,nehru place, new delhi.I have visted the place and deposited my cell phone to them. till date, 12.09.10 I have not received my cell phone. I am running from pillar to post to get rectigy my phone each time I am told that it will take 2 to 3 days.

              Sir,
              I had purchased one handset from Reliance showroom in Himayatnagar
              Hyderabad India The details of which are given below: Coolpad S100
              CDMA handset, Manufacturer: Yulong computer telecom Scientific co
              China Marketd by: Iton communications Pvt ltd BhiwaniBilled
              by:Reliance communications on[protected] for Rs 4500/- vide invoice no
              [protected]
              Owing to frequent hangups and low reception of incoming calls I had
              approached your service centre two months back(Accel Frontline
              Services Ltd,32,Sarojini Devi rd secunderabad) and was told that the
              software needs to be updated and thus problem will be resolved. I was
              also told if problem they shall replace the handset for which I need
              to provide three copies of the bill . I handed over the set and they
              gave back the set after a wait of two hrs stating that they have
              updated the software . I collected the set in good faith with due
              anticipation that my problem will be over.
              Unfortunately after 45 days or so I did not find any improvement in
              performance of the set and same problem persists and today I
              approached and demanded replacement of the set . The service centre
              personnel accepted my set and acnowledged that there is problem in the
              set and shall replace the part only and issued a job card vide
              HYD-CP-003818 dt[protected].
              Would like to know from these marketing Agents why should they peddle
              unreliable Chinese make mobiles that remain more dead than alive ,
              Should not the service centre be asked to replace set immediately .
              Less said the better of the service centre response - it took almost
              1-15 hrs (75mts)for them to attend and let me collect the job card and
              lone girl manning with more than 25 customers in toe. Why the hell
              should a reputed giant like Reliance become a partner in this day time
              loot or be in the company of people who treat the customer with
              contempt be it sales /marketing or service centre. Will you care to
              ascertain how a customer who already has been assured earlier of
              better performance of set ,subsequently failed in its promise be
              expected to be believed this time. I demand replacement of the set in
              Toto. Handset remains with the service center till further advice
              from ur end.
              One fails to understand how reliance could be so irresponsible letting
              marketers to market their substandard products in its premises and
              letting its captive customers for a royal ride. Less said the better
              about customer care, since handset sale do not come under service
              complaints ,it seems a defective or a substandard handset is no one's
              baby.
              Will the Reliance /Accel frontline services Ltd/Iton communications
              Pvt Ltd who are selling/servicing and marketing care to respond how it
              convinently let marketing of such handsets fit for Daryaganj or
              Pallika Bazaar footpaths of Delhi in its premises as if outsourcing
              such sick rabid worthless sets enhances its reputation of being mass
              marketer.

              sir i have brought the coolpad t20 modle mobile for me one day also battery getting charge and GPRS setting is not actived and complant to <Mr.dinesh cell no.[protected] and he is not giving any response to me now where i can complaint
              Sir i have brought the Coolpad T20 modle mobile for me every day CDMA NETWORK setting is not actived on my mobile i go to your service station "Tirupti agent, paslkar bhavan, near civil coart shivaginagar pune." They told me to pay charg for software redownloding. I ask their this mobile is in warranty I don't pay any chag. he is not giving any response to me now where i can complaint
