Our society has been charging inr 5000=00 as welfare fund since the year 2014-15, if the owner gives his/her flat on rent.
Management generally include this welfare fund in the monthly maintenance bill, when the flat is given on rent (Vide leave & license agreement). Management also charges 21% p. A. Interest on this welfare fund if the payment is delayed by the owner.
As per my understanding, it is illegal to charge any such fund over & above the non-occupancy charges which society management is already charging since 1999.
In such a case, what is the legal process to raise complaint against the society management?
Can we write to main registrar in pune/maharashtra, if the local sub-registrar do not take action against the society management?
