Today, I swiped my card during a purchase, the transaction failed three times, and funds got deducted twice from my account, the amount being Rs.440 twice.
So an amount of Rs. 880 should get back to my account. The shopkeeper said it should get back to my account soon but it has not, so I thought I should leave a complaint.
This is not the first time, this has happened before. I have lost Rs. 500/- earlier also. Out of three transactions of Rs. 500/- they asked me which amount has got refunded and which not, that is not something I will know. I got refunded twice, third time I haven't but how can I assure which transaction got refunded and which not?
Corporation Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
