Respected Sir,
I secured 76% in the recent ICSE 10th Board results and secured admission to FYJC in Mumbai. Subsequently, I attempted the Improvement exam for Maths and secured a lower score dropping my percentage to 73%. I was asked to submit the original marksheet and a new marksheet with the reduced percentage was allotted. My concerns are listed below
1. At the time of application for improvement exam, I wasn't informed by the school that if the marks weren't improved, the original marks would be cancelled and the lower marks would be final
2. The notice sent by your Board on improvement exams wasn't shared with me by the school as it was an internal notice
3.Your web site FAQ doesn't also address the question on what happens if the score isn't improved
4. Considering that if I had failed, I would have lost the year and would have to repeat the 10th exams again, would have made me not attempt the improvement exam
5. Since I have secured admission to FYJC based on the original marksheet, I have now submitted the revised original marksheet and have to explain the discrepancy in marks
I have received no help from your helpline nor from the mails sent nor from the school..hence forced to send this on a public forum
Hoping for a resolution
Thank You
