Country Holidays Inn & Suites — Holiday package

It's been almost 3 years since i have trying to reach out to you thru various options, I have not taken any service from you and require refund of my hard earned money.

Taking membership from CHIS has been the biggest mistake of my life, I am hereby requesting you to please refund my entire amount along with interest, at the earliest, because of fraudulent over selling & wrong commitments.

Let me start from day 1, on 5th March 2021 when I received a call from your representative saying that we are lucky winners for free gifts and would not be required to pay anything but would be given refreshments served dinner & given gifts as we want to promote the brand CHIS and the services we offer, you just must give us 15 minutes for the session & then you will be served refreshments and gift vouchers at a hotel in Dwarka.

As my father lives in Dwarka & I had to visit him on 6th March, so my bad luck that I got into thinking & to add I got pestered by more than 5 to 6 calls during the day to give confirmation and lured me to visit the hotel & attend the session of promotion.


On 6th March 2021, I visited the premise along with my husband and was held there for more than 3 to 3.5 hours where 3 team members got into selling the product, first I was given information by representative 1, where I did not get convinced so her senior got into the picture and started giving details and created so much of pressure to make the purchase then & there, me and my husband were just not allowed to go out and they kept pressurizing us to make the payment for the 10 years membership which was being given as a special offer only for that moment in Rs 3 lakhs and the moment we were about to get up from chair, we were requested to pls sit and listen to positive reviews etc, still we told them we would like to think & get back, then instead of letting us go the Manger was introduced Mr Mohit and he also started pressurizing us and said that as an exceptional case will offer 1 year membership in 1 lakh, we again told him that we will think & get back, he further insisted that he will offer us additional offers and also make the payment of Rs 90000/- only for 1 year membership also insisted that we may pay thru credit card & opt for EMI’s thru bank. He insisted that he will offer only 5-star properties and will take special care & offer the best suites. The entire team created undue pressure and created such an atmosphere by showing us other people by clapping for them as they were taking membership. Overall, an environment o[censored]ndue pressure was created that we succumbed.

The offers were given for 1 year, where the below mentioned was committed ( pls see attached CHIS document of offer, it is clearly mentioned 12 months by your representative in his own handwriting )

1 1 night at four points by Sheraton with buffet & dinner

2 Flat Rs 18000/- off on flight ticket

3 Initially 2 weeks as bonus, then added 2 more to make it 4 bonus weeks over & above the 5 weeks of stay that is covered under membership. Was told that we can use these weeks meaning 5 + 4 = 9 weeks anytime within 5 years as per our requirement. (Week means 6 nights & 7 days)

Once we succumbed, they quickly filled the papers & took my signatures & payment and told that we will get a welcome call & post that will get login id for the app.

Now the story of welcome call, we paid on 6th March, from 6th March to 30 the march, there were more than 4-5 calls/ conversations held between the department who was calling & myself to check what was I given. You may pls refer to those recordings to understand that wrong & fraudulent selling was done.

To highlight we were told that we will get Rs 18000/- off on the first Air tickets that we book through CHIS, but the department who called told that the amount is 8000/- so I called back to confirm with Mr Mohit, he assured me that we will get Rs 18000/- as Rs 8000/- fixed and he has given 2 vouchers of Rs 5000/- each and that makes it 18000/- then I pointed out that it is written upto 5000/- which could be 1000 also in 1 voucher so he assured that the minimum amount that comes in vouchers is 2500/- per voucher and he gave 2 more vouchers on what app saying u may use all four & that will make it 10000/- + 8000/- fixed so u will get 18000/- ( pls refer to WhatsApp 1 & 2 conversation and 2 additional vouchers that are attached )

Second disconnect was related to rooms, we were told that we will get only suits & deluxe rooms, but the department said it could be standard room also. Again, I spoke to Mr Mohit & he assured that he will ensure that we get deluxe or suites only & for that I must call him for the booking & he will ensure that it would be done.

Third disconnect, he told us all 5 star & 7 star properties to be offered, but again the department said it could be resorts also.

So, I approached Mr Mohit and requested him to refund as could sense lot of wrong selling, but he insisted that “ma’am please take my word, I will honor what all I have committed” I will get you the specific property that you will want if not thru CHIS as I am in this field will get you thru others to be covered under CHIS. I myself am a sales Professional in Education Industry and have been counselling students and parents and also training sales people that what matters the most is what you as a sales person commit to the consumer, as it is your face, that they trust & invest in a brand, so keeping full trust in MR Mohit that all his commitments would be honored by him did not insist for refund. (Pls see Whatsapp conversation also which I wrote post telephonic call on 19th March 21 – Attached Whatsapp 2 ). This is intentional wrong commitments made & fraudulent selling & deceiving the customer.

Again pls refer to my whatsapp on 27th March & 5th April ( attached Whatsapp 4 & whatsapp 5 ) where I bought to his notice to rectify the period of offer and also made numerous calls to that effect that he has stopped taking my calls & does not even bother to call back.

Now I am worried that 6 nights & 7 days offer of bonus week would be given or not, also if we can take these weeks as per our choice which was told to me but I doubt now as the app is showing a specific period each year and was also told that I can use 2 weeks in one single year and can also take 2 rooms but again my doubts now.

Also not to forget that I had paid complete amount but later was asked to pay 6000/- more in the month of July, when I wanted to avail Sheraton's complimentary offer, but when I said that I have paid complete amount & nothing is due, they said ok. Also to mention in that complimentary offer I was allocated substandard room which completely put me off.

After being cheated again & again, I have completely lost my interest & faith in CHIS, and have not used even a single night in any hotel under this membership's 6 nights & 7 days offer, hereby you are requested to please refund my complete amount along with interest
