[Resolved]  Coverfox — incorrect details in the car insurance policy due to their technical issue

My car insurance is due shortly and when looking out for options i came across coverfox which had decent reviews and decided to purchase the car insurance from hdfc ergo through them. After providing all the required information and finishing the payment i was in for a shock when i looked at the policy that was generated. Policy didn't have car details, name and address details and other essential ones. Only thing that i could make sense was the policy number and the amount. I have attached the policy generated. I raised the complaint to coverfox team over email and facebook. They responded back in facebook and asked for rc to correct the details. I would be more than willing to correct if one or two fields were incorrect but the entire policy has junk values and i demanded the policy to be cancelled and amount refunded. Customer support executive accepted that there was a technical issue on their end (Only god knows how many thousands of policies would have been created with junk data)

But the customer support executive is not willing to cancel it and instead saying there will be cancellation charges, alternate policy proof needed etc and not helping of any sorts. I would like to cancel the policy and get my full amount refunded.

Incorrect policy details was due to HDFC Ergo and not due to coverfox. They initially admitted the technical glitch on their side and hence the complaint.
CoverFox customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Issue was at HDFC Ergo end generating policy with wrong details. They have corrected the issue and sent the latest policy
