Credit Information Bureau India Limited [CIBIL] — Written off removal from axis bank | |||||
I had a credit card with Axis bank, [protected]. Before I shifted from Bangalore to Hyderabad, the credit outstanding amount was 0 and last payment done in the month of 2/7/2009 clearing the bill of 1990.97 by paying 2000/- rupees. After 5 years In Sept 2014, the axis bank bill generated has CARD REPLACEMENT FEE of 100/- with a service tax of 12.36/- for both the cards were charged(add-on card). It was not intimated to me and the new cards didn't reach me as well. If the cards didn't reach the customer why do Axis bank continues the cards instead of closing Credit cards. Thereafter from Oct 2014 onwards axis bank charge late payment fee of 300/- every month which accumulated to 3132.78. I cleared this amount which I haven't used at all on 03/09/2015 only to get my home loan and avoid future hurdles. Statements attached for your reference. Even after the full credit card bill payment done by me. My CIBIL SCORE report shows "Written off" for this account. Now when I go to bank to get no due certificate from them, they say you need to pay CIBIL masking amount. See the cruelty of the bank, I paid 3172.78/- amount without usage of credit card even after that they ask me to pay Credit Masking Amount. They were not ready to tell the Credit Masking Amount details as well. When called to customer care they cut my call or keep me in waiting state for longer period so that I gets frustrated and cut the call. This is affecting me for home loan application.
