So today I have registered myself for Credit Improvement Service offered by CreditMantri.
For that, I have paid an amount of Rs. 1415/- and was told and promised to remove 1 negative account from my CBILL.
Post that I got a call from CreditMantri saying that we need to generate some reports and for that, I need to pay again Rs.999/- after a huge argument with their seniors they agreed that this is not mandatory and since the very first call it was never told to you can choose not to pay and take this service, However, on the other side he was scaring me about the money you have paid will go for a toss. (But I still choose not to pay since I was not told about the same at all and I asked for a refund of the amount I paid, and they denied it).
Post that I again got a call with the same story regarding the report, and I again denied the same.
Then, later on, I again got a call from the team of Credit Mantri and that person was saying that he had removed the negative account from my profile, but this will not reflect under my PAN card till I pay more money for all the negative account I have in my profile.
I do not understand what kind a service structure it is:-
1. Why it was not told to me on the very first call when I was purchasing the services?
2. Why at first it was told that you must take this REPORT service and then the optional service?
3. Why now CreditMantri team forcing me to pay for all the negative accounts then only they can help me?
I mean what is the point of first charging for one negative account and then forcefully scaring the customer to pay for the entire negative account?
This is clear-cut fraud and negligence of the service standards.
