Crompton Greaves (Cg) — Worst performing crompton greaves geyser and poor service - great quality compromise | |||
I purchased a Geyser from Crompton Greaves 11 months back. I found the geyser stopped working and started burning. I complained to Service Centre on 10th January 2016. They arranged a service from M/s. Amkay Services. The technician visited on 11th Jan and reported that the Geyser looks not properly manufactured and also needs replacement of some parts. So he left with promise that he will come back on 12th Jan with parts. He did not come on Tuesday, we spoke to Mr. Albert at M/s. Amkay Services but no response. I called up the CG Service Centre and requested their help. On Thursday, the technician visited and repaired the geyser. It just worked for a day. On Saturday evening it started burning with smoke filling my flat. I complained to CG on Sunday and requested their help but not happy with their response. I also learnt from the Technician the Crompton Greaves Geysers are facing lots of complaints these days and he has been busy visiting many houses with similar problems. I request CG to address this issue in a right manner and replace all their products being sold without proper check. Normally Geysers are not expected with these types of complaints within a year period. I also purchased Bajaj geysers way back in 2000 but not even once we faced any problem.
