Dear Sir,
I have purchased a self priming monoset pump , pump no KBN 1479 , motor pump from Banwari lal and sons, bill no 2530, staff road Ambala Cantt on 18/march/11 .we installed the motor on 23/3/11 from the very first day the motor is not working properly , we have submit the complaint on customer care complaint no[protected] dtd 23/3/11 , no body came to see the things , again i hve submitted the complaint on 28/3/11 complaint no is [protected] , no after sale service from the company, no body came then i have taken the motor to the service centre but the problem is still not rectified , i need my motor should be replaced , i have doubt that the dealer sold me a used motor . company should come to the picture and solve my problem .

crompton greaves motor — defective from 1st day

DEFECTIVE MOTOR PUMP

Dear Sir,
I have purchased a self priming monoset pump , pump no KBN 1479 , motor pump from Banwari lal and sons, bill no 2530, staff road Ambala Cantt on 18/march/11 .we installed the motor on 23/3/11 from the very first day the motor is not working properly , we have submit the complaint on customer care complaint no[protected] dtd 23/3/11 , no body came to see the things , again i hve submitted the complaint on 28/3/11 complaint no is [protected] , no after sale service from the company even i have a doubt the dealer has sold me used motor .. the motor is still not working , my friends told me to purchase the other brand but i thought crompton is good brand but we found a cheat dealer or poor product or no after sale service .My family is suffering from water shortage just bcoz of you even your dealer dont listen to the things , even customer care ..

Motor Pump — Motor Pump Bill

I was getting Last 7 Years Bills continue From your Department.but thier is not actually connection of motor and also i compaint at ozhar mig MSEB office (CHANDORI) but they are not taking any action on this compaint. so please rejoin this connection.

    I bought 12 CFLs , 25 W, Spiral, of CROMPTON GREAVES from authorised
    dealer M/s Vinus Electricals, Navyug Market, Ghaziabad in Sept. 2009.
    Proof of purchase is available with me.
    Within a span of one year 4 out of 12 CFLs fused. Since it were
    guaranteed for one year, the dealer immediately replaced them . Now
    two more CFLs have fused, that means 50% of the CFLs have fused within
    a span of 14-15 months which I feel is a bad performance. Though I
    could not claim for replacement of the 2 fused ones but it has
    definitely compelled me to lodge a complaint with you.

    dealer M/s Chatare lectricals, mul, 441224 in Dec. 2013.
    Proof of purchase is available with me.
    Within a span of CFLs fused. Since it were
    guaranteed for one year, the dealer not replaced them .he say 35 W CFLs warnty is valid 6 month
    which I feel is a bad performance. Though I
    could not claim for replacement

      Mind blowing performance of Crompton Greaves Water Pumps - i have purchased (2) Crompton Greaves 1hp Submersible Motors form G.S.Engineering, Ranigunj, Secunderabad, on 04.04.2010. But unfortunately both the motors are not working after one week i approached GS Engineering for replacement he told me to talk to Customer Care his duty is only Sell not replacement, then i lodged a Complaint that my both the motors after running from Post to Pillar i got replacement, New Boxes with Old Pumps then i approached the consent person he told me they are New Motors, i adjusted my self & fixed that Old Wine in New Bottle Motors, after One Month same Old story - One Motor is giving trouble they are repairing it happened for 3 to 4 times on 05.03.2011 again Motor is not working i had given Complaint to Customer Care - My Complaint No is : [protected] i want replacement Crompton People are telling me do whatever you want you will not get New One..........!!!!

      Please help me if not, i am planning to write a article in News Paper...

        I am facing the Problem because of purchasing the CG Water Heater due to CG & A Victim of Brand Equity it enjoys.
        I had bought Crompton Greaves Solarium Plus Water Heater on 22nd Nov 2009 from KSR Home Appliances, Vaishali, Ghaziabad with Bill Serial no 222.

        It was noted on 16th March 2010 that there was a leak from the bottom of the Heater, following which A Complaint was launched with no [protected], whch was serviced by your people & it was found that there is a leak from Tank & Element.

        I bought your water heater seeing 5 Star Rating & Solarium Plus is the premium range of CG, I was surprised & dissapointed over this complaint as I never expected this kind of fault coming from CG product within short interval of 4 months.

        Thankfully the complaint was entertained & the Water Heater was replace, but all seems to be in waste as I have similar problem this year also since, the begining of season that there is current running in line & it was not heating, The Complaint was registered on 25th Dec 2010 with no. [protected], which till date could not be resolved despite of 2 Different Service Centre People visiting & quoting different rates & stating that Element needs to changed & its not available with them & they need to get from Company. This is totally a casual approach of Service Centre & CG Staff. I have been informed that I will have to pay Rs 800 to change the element, which according to me is an extra cost after buying the best Water Heater they have in their series.

        My Appeal to CG, either to remove the 5 Star Rating or improve the quality as I am totally Unsatisfied by Quality, Service & Attitude of One Of The Best Thought Off Electrical Appliance Company.

            I asked for an original control valve for 1Hp jet pump from a dealer Diamond Pumps & Motors Rethi Bowli Mehdipatnam Hyderabad, I was given a fake one (Coimbatore commercial Product) costing Rs 30/- I was asked to pay Rs 60/- price of the original. I had to agree as I was in urgent need.

            Crompton please take note of it.

              purchased a crompton 12" My Air (1200) All purpose, white WM Fan (Personal) from Rathna Fan House (Pvt) Ltd., on 16.04.2010. It stopped functioning in the month of aug 2010.. lodged a complaint with crompton.. Sangeetha Electricals (Phone [protected]/[protected]/[protected] visited us (Job Sheet No.2971/14.09.2010) and promosed replacement.. inspite of several calls we have not got replacement..

                noisy fan

                We bought the Aura series of ceiling fans made by Crompton Greaves for our new house 5 years ago. Several neighbours in our colony did the same. At least 3 of them in our home and some in our neighbours have developed a bad problem.. it is very noisy. So noisy that one has to choose between being hot or putting up with the noise.

                The noise apparently has nothing to do with the bearings as we have changed them. According to...

                When we (10 employees) went to the factory on 3rd October at 9 AM, we surprised to see 10+ security people and 4 gun men were standing infront of the closed gate and did not allowed us to enter the factory premises without any reason, when we asked the reason, they showed the gun towards us and asked us to leave the place. we called unit head, but his mobile was out of reach, then we contacted HR to ask the reason, she was not responding properly and she told she doesn't know any thing. Then we came back. We got hurt, we want to know how to go about it.

                  I purchased the latest 5 star rated Solarium Plus Geyser from CG thinking that it is a reputed brand and hence the product must be good. I got it in March 2010 from a dealer in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The tank of the first geyser when it was installed was found leaking. A complain was made. The technician who came said that this is not a good product and you must get another model. Geyser of different model of CG was even sent as replacement but we did not allow that. Finally 4 months after the complaint geyser of the same model was replaced. This geyser too started leaking very soon. We have now lodged a complaint once again. The technician who came this time again said this model is not good. They promised to replace the geyser once again but nothing has happened. We have not been able to use the geyser even for a day.

                  The service team does not give any written report for attending the complaint. I guess they are aware that there product is BAD and the service is even worse. People handling the service are completely insensitive.

                  Yesterday while I was driving back I listened to the radio commercial of this model being marketed as the latest 5 star rated model with PUF insulation and all. I never expected a company like CG to sell sub standard products and then hide behind curtains. Funny enough but they do not have a feedback section on their web site for appliances.

                  I am fed-up and want this geyser to be returned and money refunded so that I can buy geyser of another brand before winter sets in. I don't know if this web site can help me in this. But people reading this must be careful before choosing a CG appliance. THEY ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS AND SEEM TO BE USING THIS PRODUCT LINE JUST TO ENCASH THEIR BRAND LOYALTY FROM OTHER PRODUCTS LIKE FANS

                  Yes, Even, I am facing the problem with this Geyser. I too went by the brandname. Though they rate it as 5 star, but, I found that according to indian ISI and other standard ratings it rates below 1 star. The product is worst if you have hard water supply. The thermostart won't work properly and also the heating element gets even worst. CG replaced both the elements and they came twice to do this job. First time they replaced Heating element and left without checking the Thermostat functionality. It is a common sense that any kid can tell, if Heating element is burnt out then Thermostat could not cut-off supply and they should had checked the performance of Thermostat. Again, I had to call them back, register a new complaint finally and got replaced Thermostat also.

                  Actually, to my understanding this Geyser never worked to its efficiency as promised from day one itself. But, I used to draw slow output for hot water (similar to what we do for instant water heaters). Then slowly these problems arised.

                  After doing all this, now after 2 months of post repair and warranty expired... now the reset button is tripping and I need to reset this button everytime once the water gets heated. Also, I dont think it is heating 15ltrs of water to its capacity.


                  I rate this product for CG Solarium plus as a JUNK. Go for Regency or Remson brand. If you get REGENCY then it is the best and also rated 5 star by ISI.
                  True !! Bad product !! Leaking Tank and now element goes off !!!
                  Bought it because of Crompton name.. But I made a bad decision.

                    I have purchased one emergency light in the month of August 2009. In October 2009 the charging system of the product gone faulty & it was replaced by new one by the dealer. In July 2010 the charging system again gone faulty & also replaced by the delaler after several request. With in seven days after that the charging system again gone fauty. Every time I have chacked the earthing in my house which is perfectly alright as per electrician report. I am staying at Departmental Quarter. Now what to do ?

                      I had bought a Crompton Greaves food processor in last Jun-2010. Even during demo, its centrifugal juicer attachments were not working properly. The person ,visited for demo, assured us to sort out the problem shortly. But since last 15 day, it stopped working as soon as fruit is pressed , FP makes extreme noise and no juice comes out.

                      I had made a complaint to dealer as well as service center but service center people change their version every day.

                        I had purchased one monoset water pump 1 ah from S.K. SETH AND SONS , G.B. ROAD, DELHI-6, date[protected],when I purchased this, they had given me on site warranty, after so many calls to their service centre, they sent a engineer but they are not providing me replacement or on site warranty, even now they are not picking up my phone calls, company should think about their policy after sale, and should watch on their dealers attitude otherwise what is the fun to buy branded product , it will be better if customer should go with local vendors

                          I purchased the Crompton Greaves Mixie [ Model Swiftee ] on 21/10/2008.
                          It is my bad luck , before I go to shop I thought to buy Philips .
                          But I have seen Crompton Greaves and decided to purchase this mixie ,
                          the reason is they are giving 2 years warranty and the look was good.

                          After I purchased this mixie and operated for 3 days , the noise was very heavy
                          and We don't like this mixie.

                          Till this date , the mixie gives trouble 4 times . 3 times I went to the service
                          centre which is in vadaplani , chennai .

                          Today [ July 20 , 2010 ] again the blade was broken on a small jar , I went to the
                          service centre in vadaplani , they told they are not doing any service and we have to
                          call the customer care and they come to home and do the service.
                          I called the service centre today [ July 20 , 2010 ] , they told I have to go to the
                          dealer and they register the complaint . I had a bad experience before with the dealer
                          , I given the mixie for service to the dealer they almost taken 10 days , but the issue
                          was not resolved , I went to the dealer 4 times to the dealer that time and finally
                          bring my mixie with out servicing .

                          I am very much surprised after I called the customer care , why I have to go the dealer
                          for the service , actually I bought a mixie because it is from Crompton Greaves [may be a good brand every one things ] .

                          I decided to buy a new mixie or jar , I had lot of bad experience with this mixie .
                          Before you buy this mixie think 10 times .

                          I purchased the CromptonGreaves Maxie [ Model Swiftee ] 2007
                          It is my bad luck, before I go to shop I thought to buy kanchan .
                          But I have seen Crompton Greaves and decided to purchase this mixie,
                          the reason is they are giving 2 years warranty and the look was good.

                          After I purchased this mixie and operated for one week, the noise was very heavy
                          and We don't like this type of noise .this mixie is worst noice.

                            I have brough a motor pump from aakash engineering company which is situated near station road patna.motor pump model no. is JL 12 HO and serial no. is JDN 10527. I purchased above pump on 15th June 2010.From very first day it is defective.I called service centre at patna but after so many call they pickup the phone and registered my complain which no. is [protected] but till today any service engineer did not come to my home or even bother to call me over the phone about service of the motor pump.Despite my several telephonic call their attitude is very callous and hard.They are not giving any service.even I talked to one Mr.Swapan Bera on his cell no.[protected] on 12th of july 2010.But despite my all efforts no service after sell provided by the company.

                            My humble and kind request to you to look into the matter and provide me service as soon as possible.

                                crompton greaves are worst at after sales service.they are purely cheating their customers.They dont have a manner to speak to customer .Mr samir salvi is pure badtameez (rude).so crompton is hopeless.stop buying its products.

                                      I DEPOSITED MY HEAVY DUTY 24" EXHAUST FAN (WITH CRACKED BLADE) ON 08.03.2010 WITH CROMPTON GREAVES AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE AT BILASPUR M/S. KISHORI TRADERS FOR REPLACEMENT OF BLADES (UNDER WARRANTY). SINCE 1 MONTH HAS ELAPSED, NO REPLACEMENT OF BLADES IS GIVEN TO ME. MOREOVER THE SPARES ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT RAIPUR AND NAGPUR. THERE IS NO PROPER STOCKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR REPLACEMENT OF FAULTY PARTS AND SPARES BY CROMPTON GREAVES.

                                      HOW THE COMPANY IS MEETING THE SERVICE REQUIREMENTS OF CONSUMERS. IF SPARES ARE NOT MADE AVAILABLE TIMELY, WHY ONE SHOULD PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS.
