Dear Bose Customer Support,

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience regarding my Bose earbuds. Since the beginning, I have been facing the following issues:

The earbuds require power to connect every time, even when the battery is fully charged.

They do not disconnect automatically when placed in the charging case.

I bought a Bose SoundLInk Flex from amazon, seller name Appario, on December 26, 2022. The product has 12 months warranty. As of today, April 19, the product only turns on for 20 seconds and it shuts off.
After searching online for solutions I came to know that this has happened to many customers, and that they are making a scam by only offering an upgrade that I have to pay for and I only get a 10% discount on the new product. They do not take any responsibility for the already failed product, that I have purchased by paying 15 thousand rupees, and now they're suggesting I buy another product from them that is even costlier. I doubt the integrity and reliability of the product and would wish to have this resolved.

    I am writing to express deep dissatisfaction with my recent purchase of Bose QC 45 headphones. Despite reporting volume and distortion issues, customer service failed to address my concerns adequately. As a longstanding customer, this experience falls short of the quality and support expected from Bose. Urgent resolution and improved communication are requested.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I purchased Bose QC Earbuds paying INR 21, 999/- on 16th July 2023, in Croma, Vishwamanava Double Road, Mysore. Within 2 months the charging case was broken & I raised the complaint with Croma. I got the estimation of INR 7, 670/- saying it is Physical damage and not under warranty.

      I think I am eligible for replacement of the same without me paying anything for the following reasons:
      - The product is claimed to be premium & the cost of the product is quite high
      - I am a responsible user and had used the product carefully. It was normal wear & tear which the product should take.

      I expect Bose to replace the case free of cost & also expect Croma to push Bose to provide right service to customers than just forwarding the mail sent by Bose.

        My sport earbuds are not charging. One of the charging pins in the earbuds case seems to have been stuck inside and did not come out.

        I got to know from customer support that there is no fix at all that can be provided in such a case.

        This is highly disappointing and completely unacceptable that a company like Bose is refusing to provide service for its products.

        A product costing INR 20, 000 suddenly becomes a piece of crap as the company does not choose to provide after sale services.

        I would request you to get my issue resolved, if this is not possible would want a refund for the amount.

          I had complained for the Bose Bluetooth speakers that I had purchased 6 months back for not getting connected with the Bose app properly.

          Once I had registered the complain with your online help center the speakers were collected and returned to me after approximately 15 days time.

          But as of date I am facing the same issue.

            Dear Bose,
            I have purchased the bose soundbar 900 from Bose center which is located in below address : 902, First Floor, 80 Feet Rd, near Sony Signal, 6th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560095, Located in Nexus mall koramangala, But the soundbar is not turning on has it is continuously loading the white color entire bose team and customer support team tried but they failed now they are asking me to get soundbar to service center.

            I personally feel that bose is no 1 company so I purchased but completely disappointed with these products after spending this much money why I need to beg service center guys.My request is bose center has to replace my product immediately otherwise I may raise a complaint against bose on consumer forum because its look like cheating you guys are doing

              For a premium product, the Customer Service has been incredibly poor. It has been more than 2 months since I was promised a replacement but there is no sight of it.

              The answer is simply "waiting for replacement shipment to arrive"

              Yet, on Amazon.in, the product is available for sale.

              For a product with a 12 month warranty, I have not had it in my hand for more than 2 months.

              Really poor service and experience. And no one seems to take any ownership.

              Despite attempts to reach out to Management on LinkedIn with courteous emails, the response is ZERO.

              Can't tell you how many people I am badmouthing Bose too. And I'm not a whiny person.

                Spoke to customer service (Shravya) and she suggested I should write this to the Bose escalation team.

                Here are the events that led to appalling & disgraceful experience, despite buying lakhs worth of products for past 15 years:

                1. I gave my product to Bose service centre - Secunderabad Telangana in Sep-2022. (Refer to attached service receipt)

                2. I didn't get a call from the Bose service centre after 2 weeks, got curious and I called back and they said they are working on it.

                3. Again called in Oct'22, Nov'22, Dec'22 same response. Sometimes the lady (Imrana) at the reception says, your product will be ready, come and collect it tomorrow. Nothing was delivered after that.

                4. I called in Jan-23 & Feb-23, the bose service centre contact number was out of service and I was afraid they might have closed down the centre.

                5. Lastly, I drove to the service centre on 13-Mar-2023 and enquired about my product. They said the product cannot be fixed and take back your product. I said please write the same on the acknowledgement letter that it will not be fixed and why it took 6 months. They were hesitant to write the same and started behaving weirdly. Then I started recording it on video as a proof for escalation.

                6. Mr Prakash threatened and blackmailed me, saying I will give your speaker back only if I delete the videos. Refer to Youtube links below.

                7. Everyone who I spoke to at the service centre, saying I need to give a service receipt, then only they would return my speakers, despite me telling them several times I will give the service receipt after I see my speakers.

                8. I have to literally beg for my speakers in front of all the customers like I beggar.

                9. Finally they told me to speak to Mr Jagdish, who is site incharge, to resolve it. He was initially reluctant to give a reason for the long delay in servicing the product. However, after sometime they said they will give acknowledgement to end this fiasco.

                10. My daughter and I, who is 5 years old, have gone through this horrific experience.

                11. While I was at the service centre, at least 80% of people had bitter experiences, please see the CCTV footage on 13-Mar-2023 at bose service centre.

                Let me know the next steps.

                    We purchased Bose 300 soundbar from Ample Retail online store (hyd) on Nov 2023, its just 4 months. Its not working, remote battery was changed and tested not working. Bose sound bar too nothing is coming no sound.
                    It turns green and turns red.
                    We registered to complain at bose India, they gave us Kolkatta's number.
                    We are in BHUBANESWAR, Odisha, and there is no service center.
                    Bose what up number least responsive they say talk customer care and customer care says talk technical.
                    They gave Kolkata number and that guy said u have to bring the same here.
                    its sick no service in Bhubaneswar and they are playing around for 15-20 days of now.

                      Hi, I raised a complaint on my Bose Soundsport earphone in December 2022. Since my area is not serviceable I was asked to courier the product to Sri Sai Communications-Hyderabad. My Token number : [protected]. I was told that the replacement 2 weeks of receiving the product. It is close to 2 months now and I have not received the replacement yet. The team just gives the same reply about shortage of supply every time I asked for a response. This is very disappointing and frustrating for a user. I have no refund nor a product to be able to consume while paying a huge amount to purchase it.

                      Please expedite the resolution and arrange for the replacement.

                        I, ankit agarwal had bought sports earbuds from amazon. On opening the box the earbuds were not working and after contacting bose customer care they said the product is faulty and that they will change it. The product was collected after five days on 27/2/23 and till date it has not been delivered. They are saying more 3 weeks. I dont understand that if the product is faulty then who is at fault and why should customer suffer.

                          I bought bose sports ear buds which were so expensive, just because they are bose. OK, accepted it.
                          Then after some time the batter back or standby was only 45 mins, what the hell. It should be around 8 hours atleast.
                          So i mailed to them with the serial number, SN: 077738Z01347164AE.
                          They replied and gave a steps to troubleshoot, so might be the problem should solve.
                          I tried everything which they asked to do, but the problem persisted.
                          Then they told me about their super offer "The Great Buy Back Offer", which is 20% buy back, which i guess, they will take my ear buds and give me the rest of the amount after deducting 20%.
                          But it was not the case, they were taking back my sports bud, giving me new ear buds, the latest ones, which will cost me 20% off on MRP.

                          I visited the Bose centre in Gurgaon sector 12. Everything is a fraud.
                          You people are cheating and I am going to tweet about bose soon with a 3 page write up.
                          You said about a buy back offer. Ideally you should return the money after deducting 20% of the amount.But, instead you people are offering me a discount of 20% on the latest sports bud.
                          What the hell.
                          Plus, the new latest sports buds cost around 19k and you are applying a discount on that. Which becomes around 15500/- INR. Right?And you will take my old ear buds too.
                          Amazon costs around 15150 plus 5% off on my amazon pay card plus they won't take back my earbuds too.
                          Is this sort of service expected from such a "Renowned Audio Company". This is fraud and you people are cheat.
                          And the service centre of Gurgaon, OMG, people were busy listening to music, staff was standing outside, literally i had to shout at them to listen to me. Worst experience.
                          I really want a resolution which should be customer centric.

                            This is with reference to my Soundsport free WRLS HDPHS which was bought on 15-Jun-2019 from BOSE store in Thane Korum mall.
                            Issue -
                            The headphones are not getting connected to any IOS or Android phones and my laptop. As suggested, I tried reaching to the service centre and spoke with one Ms. Shipa and explained her the issue. She said there is nothing which can be done for this product and can be replaced during warranty period and only can offer 20% discount on new purchase post warranty.

                            At the outset, it’s quite a disappointing reply for an expensive product of a Company like BOSE who is well known for its premium products. Such products cannot have a shell life of one year (warranty period) and be unreliable later. Also i have purchased other products earlier and never faced any issue.

                            I have attached the bill of my purchase. Requesting your help in resolving this problem and hoping a positive resolution of this issue which restores my faith in your excellent products.

                              I had purchased a Bose 900 Soundbar from their showroom in Nexus Mall, Koramangala, Bengaluru in May 22.

                              Purchase year - 2022
                              My Pin code - 560100
                              Address - Electronic City Phase-1, Bengaluru

                              By end of 2022, I noticed that the soundbar stops working when continuously plugged in for a couple of days. I have to then shut the UPS, take out the power plug and reconnect to make it work again. I contacted their support id (in.[protected]@tvs-e.in) around 12-Jan and complained about the problems. Since then it has been a long series of back and forth communication without my problem getting resolved.

                              Seems Bose has outsourced support to TVS and they are pathetic. I have to follow several times to get a response from them.
                              They also sent a technician to my place who took the soundbar to their service center and brought back after a few days claiming it is repaird. When I asked him what the problem was, he said it was pending firmware update. When I asked if firmware updates don't happen automatically, he did not give a clear answer. I think TVS doesn't have the right skilled people.

                              Anyway, after that the problem has resurfaced a couple of times and I have also recorded a video of the same. Through this forum I want to reach out to a responsible person in Bose India as going to TVS is useless. In fact TVS is spoiling Bose's name in Bengaluru for sure. I want to ask Bose if this problem can be fixed. If not, I would want my money to be refunded.

                                Hi Team

                                I recently purchased Bose Smart sound bar 900 from Croma Serial no: 082942P21676570, Model No:[protected], from Croma Hyderabad.

                                There was a recent patch released from Bose and while getting updated there is a sudden power cut and further there is white line and sound bar didn’t start and not working.

                                I took it to service center in Hyderabad and they confirmed me that, it’s a mother board issue and we need to replace, as this is in warranty we will replace free of cost.

                                Firstly, It was shock to me, secondly what if there is no warranty and there is a patch release and similar situation happens?? And motherboard to be replaced, should the customer bear the cost??

                                  Sad to say that ever expected a service center and support like this in my life and when we pay a big amount for this product this values the brand value along with some respect to customer
                                  Sri sai service center, did you (bose) ever seen the place please don't say never seen this will make bose so reputed, I am bose follower from 12 years and ever face any issues i mean to say in warranty out of warranty haa yes am still but the policy of bose so hard to digest.
                                  and have to mention basic B*o*T head phone even provided best service and in 1 third price frame.
                                  a single email they too 10 days to respond and TVS support please stop the rubbish support team.
                                  have to mention in india this could be expect
                                  sorry to say have to say good bye to bose products and never advice some to go for it after sales its hard to maintain
                                  1- No responsibility

                                    I recently faced an issue with my bose subwoofer 700, for which i went to the pune service center to submit it for repair/resolution. the person there just plugged in the power and said motherboard is gone, need a new one. please pay 15k. i was like without opening or debuggin the issue you are charging in advance. ideally fix the device and then charge. what kind of a customer experience is this. i am submitting a 75k device to you and you are charing me and advance for a service which has not been performed yet!

                                      The product went faulty within 3 months of purchase. Biggest disappointment is how they don't have any tracking system to process the complaints. Close to a month now, and they don't know by when they will get the replacement parts.
