Today 29-11-24 in Dmart Virugambakkam, Chennai @11am to 12pm, after collecting required items to purchase and reaching billing counter, half of items were billed and when needed to bill jaggery powder packet 18 nos. the counter personell said only 3 nos. of the item is allowed per person. The main reason for my shopping today was to purchase jaggery for my home need and parets. So I said there's no instruction notice stating that above item. She enquired with supervisor/ manager ( a lady) who was too rude and said can't bill more than 3 nos. of jaggery packet, and shouted "D- mart is a retail shop and not a whole sale shop. Hence she will not allow to purchase 17/18 packets". She was harsh in her attitude. I said if can't purchase jaggery 18 packets, will not purchase other things, as its for parents who's diabetic and its for 2 to 3 months.Already the bill has come upto Rs.4000/- and had one more basket to be billed. She was rude said then don't buy any of the items and walked away instructing other staff to take away all items. So my hardwork of collecting all required items to purchase for nearly one to one and half hour become waste.
If a notice was placed above the item, then I will agree as its my mistake. The instruction was not placed above the item which is their mistake and no politeness in the lady supervisor/managers behaviour. As customers we are polite and approach them with respect. But this person was so..harsh and disrespectful. Kindly educate them on good customer relationship behaviour. Such impolite, harsh behaviour will affect the business, other customers and may influence other workers too to follow the same. Was this information helpful? |
