Sir/madam, i have purchased 1 kg packet walnut from dmart kanjurmarg. Bill no.[protected]; voucher no.[protected] dated[protected]:24 pm sir, the walnuts contain worms when broken and my son had consumed worms. On friday, 10.05.2020 he had severe stomach ache. So we wanted to consult our family doctor, but since he was detected corona+ earlier, he was not ready to check physically. Hence we had given castrol oil on friday and he was on fast on saturday full day with only fluid diet. Thanks god there was no serious issues, otherwise visiting a hospital these days was very risky. We then started giving him walnuts, but on sunday, 12.07.2020 (Today) detected few worms in couple of walnuts.
I had handed over the defective nuts with packing to d-mart kanjurmarg today, they have broken a couple of walnuts and assured me that the product will be returned to the appropriate authority. Sir at this juncture they must co-operate and have empathy for us. They had denied that my son had stomach ache only due to consuming walnuts & inquired whether any doctor says so. Sir these days we cannot even think of any hospital. Thank god that my son had consumed the walnuts for a month but unfortunately, due to weak immunity, this time he was affected.
My only expectation that your staff must be customer friendly. Secondly my son had consumed maximum nuts containing worm, you may refund only for the defective balance nuts and oblige.
I attach herewith cover packaging details & few worms as evidence, for your ready reference. Please also advise to remove such items from shelf
