I purchased the new maruti DZIRE ZXI AGS Regn no. DL9CAN5460 on 21/08/2017. Since then, I am getting it regularly serviced from DD Motors Nangli Sakrawati. Due to Covid and work from home scenario, the car has only completed 25000 KM in last 5 years. The last service was done in May 2022. I had been observing some sound in steering but thought balancing and alignment has been done so could be because of that. Then I felt more hardness last month so called the service supervisor. As it was 6pm in evening, he suggested to come on weekdays but I had office commitment in weekdays and found time on 2nd Sept (Saturday). I visited the service centre where I was told that Steering has issues. They checked the warranty status and advised me that its warranty got expired on 21st August 2022 just 10 days prior to my visit. The supervisor said he'll put my case in front of seniors to see if it can be fixed in warranty itself. He acknowledged that I had been a loyal customer, getting my car serviced regularly. I checked later with the supervisor where he mentioned that seniors denied my request. I am really disappointed. The issue was there in the car, i wonder why service guy did not advised me earlier that it had issue. Were they waiting to get the warranty over?
I would like to request the higher authority to consider my case and get the steering issue covered in warranty.
