I have received a call from [protected] 10 minutes ago, saying that they are calling from SBI Card, since I am not receiving either physical or e- statement from SBI Card, I was enquiring again and again how to get statement. Meanwhile they diverted my attention from statement and said about redeeming SBI Card points, and asked for OTP which I received in my mobile, before I could think twice, I shared that OTP and my card got debited with Rs.7762/- by

Eventhough i blocked my card immediately, I am surprised, how fast a Credit Card Frauds can happen. Please look into the matter and resolve the issue.

One of our family members got cheated similar way on 9th May 2016.We reported it to SBI immediately.
The instances of similar k complaints that have been registered by other SBI cardholders in leading on-line complaint boards make me strongly believe that SBI card customer data has been hacked by some fraudsters doing an organised cheating in SBI's name. In spite of me bringing it to SBI's notice with evidences, no action has been taken from their end. It really disgusting to note that those fraudsters are still cheating SBi card holders with same modus operandi.
To me, this incident brought to light up many shocking and unpleasant truths about SBI customer information security and customer centricity .
I would like to know HOW and WHY key customer information reaching out to the criminals? Why only SBI customers are targeted? I am terrified to realise that the same personal data can be used for multiple ways of cheating the customer since it has already been leaked out.
I am very much concerned about the leakage of the key customer data of SBI card holders as evident from the recent cases reported in a few online complaint boards. We have intimated these concerns to SBI customer service team and ombudsman with a list of evidences and asked for their response. They conveniently not replied to the critical concerned raised by me . instead they replied as follows in the standard format shown below.

Please be aware..that customers are still getting cheated in the similar manner...in most of the cases customer is going to be at loss. No use of sending them emails to the email ids provided or calling customer support to escalate the compliant..This is my experience...so far. From the cases reported in various online complaint boards against SBI cards, it is evident that this fraudulent activity has been happening for quite sometime. Can SBI explain to us in layman's language, Why It is still happening? What action they have taken against these fraudsters? Why should customer believe that their personal details were not leaked out to the fraudsters? Would SBI be responsible for other fraudulent activities that can happen with the use of same customer information leaked out from them?
