Hello sir,

I have applied for a new water connection on 29th dec 2017 at kakrola mod office of djb. But even after 4 months the status is showing that the file is pending for 'field inspection'. Can you please help in resolving the matter as i have tried to follow up multiple times in the office but not getting satisfactory response.

SUBJECT: Installation of the new connection (NEW KNO: [protected])
I have applied for a new water connection on 19th May 2018 at Mohan Garden office of Delhi Jal Board, it was sanction new water connection and I have paid - 9252 INR Amount for New Connection Bill on 09th June 2018. (attached herewith)
But till now, my new connection has not been installed with DJB main line to my house and I haven't got meter also,
I have saver time verbal complained via phone on Delhi Jal Board help desk –[protected], they issue me complain number: 074997.
Till date action has not to be taken care of by DJB team.
Subsequently several requests to “Delhi Jal Board help desk” team members, then they have provided me one number: Mr. Ankit his mobile number (+ [protected]), I have tried to follow up him almost 100 times by call this person is not giving the satisfactory response and not attending call several times.
Therefore, till date, my new connection has not been installed at my house.
Request you to DJB higher management please help to assign some person for fixing of the new connection.
This is for your support/cooperation exhibited to the above request and do the needful, please.

i didn't get any response on the above complain...
SUBJECT: Installation of the new connection

I have applied for a new water connection on 30th July 2021 at Mundka Division office of Delhi Jal Board, it was sanction new water connection and I have paid -4973 INR Amount for New Connection Bill on 13 aug 2021.
But till now, my new connection has not been installed with DJB main line to my house and I haven't got meter also,
I have saver time verbal complained via phone on Delhi Jal Board help desk –[protected], they issue me complain number: 249625
Till date action has not to be taken care of by DJB team.
Therefore, till date, my new connection has not been installed at my house.
Request you to DJB higher management please help to assign some person for fixing of the new connection.
This is for your support/cooperation exhibited to the above request and do the needful, please.

    Last few months it is observed that water supplying by djb in the above area is having very bad smell. Suspect that sewer water is fed through the pipe line. Very little days residents get good quality water. It is a matter of shame that after 70 years of independence govt cannot supply clean / good quality water to the residents/citizens. Request concern authority to look into the problem being regularly faced by the residents and ensure that only good quality water is supplied.

    I would like to inform that K No. [protected], i got bill excess but water does not come in my area daily, i want to bring your kind notice that water comes in my area afer 3 or 4 days interval. My meter reading is ok . Present reading is showing 180.
    Water not coming in Bangali colony since last night don't know what's happening here .
    Last few months it is observed that water supply is very bad by djb in the RZC -133, street no-10, Mahavir Enclave . It is a matter of shame that after 70 years of independence govt cannot supply quality water to the residents/citizens. Request concern authority to look into the problem being regularly faced by the residents and ensure that only good quality water is supplied.

      Since past 1 month, we are getting very dirty and smelly contaminated water in d-2 block, jeewan park (D-2/80 to d-2/ 02). Many people have fallen sick also. We are not able to use the water even for bathing as it's very smelly. The water is so dirty its almost black in colour. We are facing a lot of problem because of this. Please look into this matter as soon as possible.

        I am a resident of g-4/116, 2nd floor, sector-16, rohini, delhi-110085, new delhi for last few days we are not getting water on regular basis. We have watch out for water for whole day whether it is night or morning or evening. It is not feasible for anybody to go and check the water for all the time. Beside this there is no fixed time when we will get the water.
        So, it is humble request to you, if it not possible for you to provide water for 24 hours then at least three / four hours of continuous supply of water so that we can fulfill our basic needs.

        Treat the mail as most urgent, as we are in very desperate condition and looking for every drop of water to fall from the tap.

          I own the Property No. 27B & 28B, Kh. No.563, Sultanpur Colony, Sultanpur Village, New Delhi. For this property I applied for a water connection in 2016 as per yellowish green receipt with Consumer No. 13403, Diary No. 403 dated 10.03.2016. But I have still not got water connection, though as per rules a water connection is reqd. to be given in 45 days.

          Now since the Sonia Vihar Water Supply line has come to the lane on which my property is situated, almost all houses on this lane have got water connections from the Sonia Vihar line. To the best of my knowledge some of these houses have multiple connections which needs to be checked.

          Now I request water connection may please be given to me immediately.

            I lodged a two complaint in 1916. My complain no. [protected] and [protected] dated on 24/03/2018 due to "i have received a bill but without meter reading.
            I am surprise without my or my family concern department has been closed the case and send two sms as below mentioned:
            1)" your concern with reference id [protected] for the kno. [protected] has been closed dated "02/04/2018
            2)" your concern with reference id [protected] for the kno. [protected] has been closed dated " 02/04/2018.
            How it is possible i don't know. Who is responsible?
            Again i request you kindly arrange and send us as per meter reading bill or your suggestion by letter.

              Plz note i live in b -20 katwaria sarai lig dda flats phase - 1 new delhi -110016, this is to inform you that our sewer line is getting blocked frequently & sewer is damaged too, i had talk with junior engineer, he informed me we r lacking in funds, kindly look into the matter & get the line changed as it is 40 years old sewer. Very frequent blockade of sewer results in mixing with drinking water & is a health hazard. Plz oblidge before break out of serious illness in the area. Regards

                I lodged a complaint on 1916 a few days back ref no [protected] regarding dirty and smelly water but no action of any kind taken by authorities. the quality of drinking water is just like sewer water directly coming to our taps .

                    There is no water supply in govind puri street no 4. Only 15 minute water supply is available in morning 4:15. After that there is no water supply from djb. Residents are facing difficulty without water. This is happening every year in summer. I don't understand what the delhi government is doing in this matter. Everytime if we call to customer care they asked to visit nearby djb office or talk to je or someone. Finally there is no solution from last 4 year and people are fedup here. Pls provide some solution for the same.

                      I am resident of d-5, main market shakarpur, east |delhi-110092, and dirty water is being supplied in "shakarpur" - east delhi. Water is so dirty that you would not like to take bath. It has foul smell. People are forced to buy ro water purifiers which is not required for delhi. Maintenace cost of such purifiers is also too much which people have to bear when "dirty water" is supplied by "delhi jal board (Djb)" in "shakarpur" (East delhi).

                      I request djb to inspect and supply good quality hygienic water for residents of shakarpur (East delhi).

                      Since last three month no one has taken any reading till now. They simply put room is locked and put some random amount in the bill.

                      We hardly use water in day to day and not crossing the montly limit but still they genrates 500 bill every month.

                        Dear sir/mam
                        I am resident of sector 2 Rohini. We have facing problem of water supply in our area, since 2007 it seems to 10 years we are facing same problem. We registered compliant regarding this many times but we didn't get satisfied from delhi jal board's service. Nobody had taken any of action to resolve our problem. We tried to contact sector 3 water supply office but they didn't resolve our problem and always avoid by giving stupid excuse. By chance water supply starts, water which came from tap was very dirty and yellowish in color. Now there is no water. It's very difficult to survive because it is effecting our day to day and health also. You should have to resolve our problem.
                        We are living in Rohini sector - 2 pocket - 6 H. No 725
                        Plz reasolve this as soon as possible

                          I have a medical dental center in majlis park adarsh nagar, from last 3 months very irrgular water supply even no water supply from last 20 days. Due to this my medical center suffer bcoz no proper cleaning and sterlization done. I have complain twice on 1916.. Got complain number but no response till date. My connection is commercial, and i am paying even more for no water i got. Pathetic service. Feels helpless.

                            Ram nagar area in tilak nagar is getting sewaged water for the last 15 days. The water we are getting is black and smells of sewage. The water line was dug up twice but no solution could be found. After that repeated requests have not yielded any results. Kindly look into the matter as early as possible as there is no source of getting drinking water.

                            I live at Inder enclave ph-2 Kirari Suleman Nagar. There is no water supply in our locality and water supply by Delhi jal board is very dirty like drain water. Full of contamination and very foul rotten fish smell. Water supply after 4-5 days but supply water is not used as drinking or other works .. please solve these problem .

                              I am a resident of rajgarh colony gali no.1 satsang marg, delhi. I am experiencing smelly black water from past two week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it.

                              It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue. I have already complained about it in edmc website but doesn't think any reply would ever come.

                                I sandeep kumar is resident of f-217a mangal bazar laxminagar delhi-92. Water supply is not coming since 9 o'clock in morning. Yesterday we have faced the same problem. It is very difficult for us as there is no water since morning. It is usual to face water problem in this area sometime dirty water with bad smell sometime shortage of water supply. I have complained several time but there is no solution provided pls look into the matter urgently as without water in this hot summer season it is difficult to survive.

                                  It is shameful to state the situation of water supply in one of the most affluent pockets of delhi (West punjabi bagh) where the water supply from delhi jal board has been contaminated with adulterants and smells of sewage water for last 3 weeks.
                                  Even the water purifiers can filter this water and daily chores for our kids have become a big problem as we need to use mineral water for all the activities from brushing in the morning to washing utensils.

                                  Cant believe that we are running digital india campaigns on one hand and on the other we cant ensure clean drinking water to the people residing in the capital, puts me to shame to think about the plight of my fellow country man residing in rural pockets and rest of india.

                                  On reaching out to the local jal board office they come out with some excuse on digging activity happening somewhere, without providing any solution or any kind of assurance.

                                    The construction of house at du-81, pitam pura, new delhi-110034 is at digging stage of foundation. There is continues water coming out of ground as we start digging. The water is odourless and clear. We observed that the the source of water is from the base of rcc column of the adjacen house no. Du -82.

                                    This must be a leakage from the main water supply pipeline, in the service lane. The work has come to standstill for indefinite period.

                                    An immediate remedy is requested.

                                      I reside in shalimar bagh area of new delhi and there is supply of gutter water at my house for last 3 months.
                                      Nobody is ready to register the complaint, the zonal office doesn’t pick the calls.
                                      I am tired of contacting the authorities but no one is ready to help.
                                      This water is deteriorating our health badly
                                      I have tried contacting the authorities about it a lot of times, they visited but couldn’t resolve the problem for weeks.
                                      Then they went saying that there’s a default in the pipeline and it’s a very expensive project, we can’t help it.
                                      I request you to resolve this problem and take action against the zonal office officials who don’t pick up the calls.
                                      They are sleeping and the consumer is suffering. The water quality is so bad that one can’t even breathe in the house with running water.

                                        I am living in dabri and my area is suffering from dirty water past one week and no one can take initiative to clean this water and this water is not suitable for even washing our hand or cleaning clothes. I request you to clean water in dabri as soon as possible.
                                        Water is not coming for at least 30 days neither in MCD OR SONIYA VIHAR CONNECTIONS in SULTANPUR COLONY, TRANSFORMERWALI GALI.
                                        We are facing this problem for last couple of weeks ita very difficult to survive with buying water bottles and water Tankers charge minimum Rs1200 for filling up water tanks.
                                        Please help us to survive.
