Delhi Jal Board Complaints & Reviews

I am a resident of ganesh nagar-ii, shakarpur, delhi-110092. We are facing two problems for the last more than 2-3 months. Complained many times but it seems that the complaint goes to deaf ears.

1. The water which is supplied is filthy, smelly and sewage water at the starting and after about an hour it gets cleared because the water which is in the pipeline goes out and then the water mixed with sewer water is diluted. Due to this we are facing heath issues.

2. The sewage lines always get chocked now and then and the sewer starts backing due to which smell prevails in our houses. This is the problem being faced by each and every one living on the ground floor as they are more near to the sewer lines.

In my property located near filmistan cinema we have a major water bill issue going on.

With none living in the house the bills have once shoot up to rs.7378

I had gone to the office of djb and they refuse to make any adjustments saying that the bill is as per consumption.

The house is merely a one room sized with 3-4 taps in it. I dont know whether it is possible to...

I devi singh resident of j-679 jahangirpuri, delhi-110033, yesterday i received my water charges bill from 15.10.2017 to 19.12.2017 for rs. 3000.94 & saw that the bill is completely wrong because the updated meter reading taken in bill 881 instead of 834 unit, i saw in my water meter update unit was 834
There for 47 unit excess taken by the meter reader

Please look in to the meter & correct the same

I stay with my family in flat number 692 street number 23 dda flats madangir new delhi 110062. The flat next to us (690) waste water on daily basis by not switching off their moter. When my mother ask to switch off the moter, the lady on first floor abuses for no reason and says that its there water you do not need to interfere also used wordings like “ tune kya theka lia hai pani bachane ka”. It’s my humble request please warn them for not wasting water daily. We are concerned because due to this there is a huge number of mosquitoes in the nali.
Please take required action before it is too late. We will take further action when we will not receive any of the action from your side.

This is to inform that we never get water from delhi jal board but regularly the bills are generated and sms is send to us. What are these bills for.
No meter reading is done since beginning. We do not understand why are these bills given to us.

It is to inform you that there is an unathorised water connection in shopno 976/9 govind puri kalkaji (Baba creation) causing stagnant water which can be a cause for diseases because this stagnant water is collected just outside the gate of our home one has to jump. Mosquito breeding has also started.
Please take strict necessary action against them.

I, yogesh kumar, holding pan no - arypk5723h, filed online return for the ay - 2012 and 2013 on 21-03-14. My return found defective u/s 139 (9) of i. T act 1961 as i wrongly submitted my return to ward-1 (2) ghaziabad instead of ward2 (1) in wrong jurisdiction. Now i came to know that my return has been transferred to right jurisdiction in noida ito (Intl tax) noida and my refund is also ready to pay but still it is pending at your end and not credited to my online account. Please credit the amount of refund with upto date interest to my online account details given in itr.
Kindly do the needful as already 3 years has been passed.

Due to installation of new 4' inch water pipe line at gali no. 15, military road, bapa nagar, karol bagh, new delhi-110005 big leakage in 2' inch water pipe line (Near at new 4' inch pipe line) at above said area/gali. This problem is facing by general public 3-4 days and dirty water supply is given to the general public, kindly repair it quickly because lots water is to be waste & dirty.

Sir, from past one week the water supply in our home is adverse. Water has a bad smell and taste. We r not able to use this water for cooking and drinking purpose.. Sir we face lot of difficulty and if this condition of water continues. This leads many health problems.. I hope u will understand and do the needfull and supply the clean water for use.

One meter reader came on 14th december, 2017 in my house and when i asked what is the today’s jal board meter reading? He told me the meter reading as 1204. On the next day i. E. On 15th december, 2017, i found a message from the delhi jal board that payment of rs.1401 is to be made for the period 13the october 2017 to 14th december 2017 before 1st january 2018 and then i saw the bill in the delhi jal board website.

In this i want to say that the meter reading as on 14th december 2017 has been shown as 1240. It seems that there is some clerical mistake on the part of employee of the jal board who has recorded 1240 instead of 1204 in the bill. The meter reading as on 16th december 2017 is 1205. Thus, 36 imaginary units have wrongly been shown as consumed.

It is requested that the meter reading as on 14th december 2017 may be written as 1204 instead of 1240 and a fresh bill may be issued to me. Meter reader may again be called for recording meter reading.

Respected sir,
We are the resident of jaina building, roshan ara road, delhi-110007.
In our building there are 5 or more sewer in our building.
The cover of the sewers are lose and when ever any vehicle pass over it, it sounds
And disturb day and night. Most of the sr. Citizens and old sick persons whose
Bed rooms near to gali are uneasy and cannot sleep.
I have requested many places and the local sweeper but all in vein.
We may add that no private person/shopkeeper can undertake such jobs.

Please help us to set right or tighten or replace the cover immediately on humanitarian ground,
It is humble request with folding hands, kindly do the needful at the earliest.

We have use water consumption every 2 month about 30-35 Unit . But our area Gulab Bagh, uttam nagar Meter Reader Note the reading Meter lock 1800 unit after see in 22 may to july bill 28 average 1828 then 27 sep bill see in 1823 is wrong reading and oct to dec bill direct 1906 unit till date 1914.
So I REQUEST TO YOU MY DEFAUT BILL IS CORRECTION IN MY BILL.

Water bill is not being generated since last aug'17 for kn number : 52*7*0*.
Last bill generated on 28-aug-17.

Area : avantika, sector-1, rohini, delhi-110085

To avoid excess charges, i visited nearest delhi jal board office and they given contact number of bill reader executive and ask me to call him and check with him.
