Dear Sir/ Mam

Myself Prateek Kumar and I am a resident of 283/170, Maddi Waali Gali, Vishnu Garden, New Delhi-110018.

I have a complaint regarding my water bill since last 3 to 4 months. I am receiving continuously wrong or excess bill for my Delhi Jal Board water connection (K.No. [protected]).
As Usual again I have received the Bill no:[protected], for Period Charges (15-JUL-2017 to 8-SEPT-2017) with the amount of Rs.770 with unnecessary charges. The consumption has been averaged and Reading/Meter status has been shown as MLOC (Meter locked).
In my previous bill (for 09-MAY to 15-JULY) the bill amount was Rs.761 and the meter status was also showing as MLOC (Meter Locked). It is really shocking to me as we are very much present at home all the time and nobody has come for meter reading and the status has been shown as MLOC which seems to be a bogus activity. I have attached the screenshots of my bills.

    Inflated Bill: (SMS received on 18.7.2017 to pay Rs 2189/- ; No bill received followed by another sms dated 15.9.2017 informing that a notice has been issued to pay Rs 2939.64)

    I humbly submit that I & my family were staying in Gujrat due to my posting since Nov. 2015. I was being regularly sent inflated bills & the position was finally rectified in bill dated 16.8.2016 (Based on meter reading of 489 dt 9.8.2016) with a credit balance of Rs 2169.08, only after I escalated the issue to Delhi Govt. In this connection, please refer to your letter no. DJB/ZRO (WEST)-1/RTI/PGC/2016/7388 dt 17.8.2016, advising me of the rectification done.
    I came back to Delhi only by the end of June 2017, but finally occupied this house in the middle of July 2017. In the beginning of July 2017 some meter reader, Mr Satpal, came but at that time I couldn’t locate the keys of box in which meter is installed, as I was in the process of shifting to this place. The meter reader advised me to send the photo of the reading on whatsapp.

    Once I shifted to this place & managed to retrieve the keys, I sent the photo of latest meter reading (as on 17.7.2017) on 17.7.2017 itself. Meter reading was 501. Hence, there is a consumption of just 12 units between the Last Reading of 489 dated 9.8.2016 & present reading of 501 dated 17.7.2017. How can you exhaust a credit balance of Rs 2169.08 & raise a further bill of Rs 2939.64 when the consumption is only 12 units during this period?

    I fail to understand why DJB has not taken note of the latest reading provided by me & keeps on demanding adhoc amount without any basis.
    I once again request you to send your meter reader and raise a fresh bill based on actual basis. Further, why the DJB is only sending sms and not sending the actual bill?

    I hope that DJB will take the necessary steps to rectify the position & send me the correct bill urgently.

      We are residence of f-7a, sector-16, rohini, delhi-110089.

      In many lines (Streets) of f-7a its much dirty and sewage small water is coming on daily basis. Only in some lines (Streets) water supply is ok.

      We are also facing stomachs serious disease problem these days as this water is not drinkable at all.

      We are daily facing problem of supply of dirty water with foul smell like sewage from last month august, 2017 and facing problem time to time from last one year, but no appropriate steps has taken till date.

      Strictly request you to kindly intervene and provide the solution at the earliest. Your immediate action to the matter will be highly appreciated.

        We are residence of hn. 39, gali no 3, old arjun nagar, delhi - 110051. We are facing problem of supply of dirty water with foul smell like sewage from last 4 months. No. Of complaints has been filed, jal department people come and go but nothing has happend till date. Moreover now from last 3-4 days water has stopped coming at all.           The residents of e block mansrover garden new delhi 110015 are facing problem of acute short water supply in the area for the past about 15 days.

          The water supply is irregular, insufficient and also the quality of water supplied by djb currently is contaminated most of the time.

          Please look into the matter and take immediate corrective measure to restore normal water supply in the area

              My k no [protected] with a bill for month of june - july 2017 for rs 3296/- and by mistake i paid rs 32, 396/- and excess of rs 29, 100/- in name of sh lala ram address 19/23 rajniwas marg, new delhi 54

              As a matter of fact i am not able to reimburse the excess paid as i am not a rich man and this was done online and someone else who has paid through his credit card and i have to reimburse his payment.

              I shall humbly request you to kindly return the excess paid as i have always been paying my dues regularly

                wrong reading status as rddt

                The meter reader mentioned the wrong current reading status as rddt (Reading detained) and previous reading status as 404 units. According to him the unit reading was not increasing but the fact is that the rentholder is not in delhi from almost 3 months so how can the reading increase. Our meter is working and in good condition and have been checked.
                He also said that we have to waste water if not needed but reading has to be increased...

                Hi sir/madam,

                This is to inform you that we are getting dirty and black drinking water from tape every day in my locality h. No.112, bh block, east shalimar bagh, delhi-110088. This water is so dirty that it smells really bad. I have never expected that the quality of water that delhi jal board is supplying is going down day by day. This worst quality of water causing many hazardous problems on our health and it is specially affecting our children's health. This problem is not limited to me as it is also affecting my neighbors family.

                I am raising this concern to you as i believe it will addressed asap by helping us in getting good quality of drinking water from delhi jal board. Request you to address it asap as it is making our living very difficult.

                        My k. No. Is [protected] address 43, narmada apartments, alaknanda, new delhi - 110019.

                        We received a very very high bill, bill no[protected], for 2 years from 4th aug 2015 to 30th may 2017 of amount rs.48107. Hence for a total period of 21 months and usage of 1189 units, the bill received averages to approximately rs.2300 per month which is more than 4 times of the normal. Strangely we did not received any bill during these 2 years.

                        Earlier complaint lodged with djb in this respect was [protected] for which no proper response was given. Meanwhile we have paid rs.28502 to the djb during 1st week of july and deposited the meter to djb for getting the meter checked sometime a month back (1st week of august). The meter testing report is still awaited from the djb though it is already one month since the meter was deposited for testing.

                        In the meantime we received bill for june 2017 (Bill no.[protected] which has been billed properly for rs.536/- and 25 units. Hence it is very clear that no body from djb visited the house to take proper reading during those 2 years and have sent a bill on generic basis.

                        This needs to be investigated thoroughly for the lapses on part of djb / erring officials on charging such an inflated bill and we must be provided with revised bill with proper reading / units consumption basis regular consumption as per previous bills.

                        In no case we will be paying further amount to the djb.

                        I m living in b 1898 shastri nagar. From last week the watee comming in the tap is very contaminated and is smelling like sever. I called 1916 several times bt they kept saying that the problem will be solved. But nothing happened. The smell in the water is so bad the even ro cant remove it completly.they are even not solving my problem.

                          Dear sir,

                          We have deposited my last bill received in 2014 from delhi jal board, but due to water problem, i have shifted to nearby area and locked this premises.

                          When new pipe line laid, i have request to shift from old line to new line. But within a week shifting from old line to new water line i got very huge bill of rs. 12, 426/- for the period i have not got water, my room was locked since 2014 (Due to water problem).

                          I have requested to amend this bill and send me new revised bill for this new water line connection. I am enclosing photo of meter reading & copy of meter installation form and bill received - for your consideration.

                          Sir, i request your kindself to please instruct the concerned authority to send me bill for this new water connection, not for the period i have got no water.

                          If they are not ready to amend the bill, then instruct the authority to disconnect my water connection as these authority are sending fake & assuming bills under the bill basis – policy average bill.

                          In front of our complex is Railways Quarters in which hundred- thousand liters of wastes from the water tank overflow. There is no provision to stop the overflow. Kindly verify and stop the wastage.

Pandey [protected], i was just out of my house for short span and he was taking reading in my next door c-29, radhey puri then i requested him a lot but even after that he had not considered my request and refused to take the meter and asked me to come with meter reading after the receipt of bill in their office at shiv puri, delhi-51.
                            I am very much upset with the kind of reply from your employee. Please look into the matter and resolve the same at the earliest.

                              This is to inform you that i had complained to djb regarding the sewer lines overflowing in panchsheel vihar b block area in malviya nagar. It has been more than 4 days now and no action has been taken until now. Sewer lines in my area are completely blocked and all the dirty sewer water is overflowing into the roads, shops and buildings. It is impossible to walk in the roads. Mosquitoes are breeding in large numbers giving rise to diseases and illness. Would appreciate if someone looks into this issue asap.

                                My k. No is [protected] in the name of sunita bansal, r/o a-393, sarita vihar, new delhi-76. My issue is that i m not receiving water bill from last two years n on continuous complaint to the meter reading boy i always get the answer that ur bill is going in minus as now water bills r reduced by mr. Arvind kejriwal but yesterday when i went to nearby djb office they gave me a bill of rs.20, 000/-. Now what can be done as we can't afford to pay 20, 000/- in one go.
                                Kindly take some action n give us a waver as mistake was done by ur end.

                                  The residents of panchsheel vihar, near malviya nagar are forced to live in the hell for last 3 months... Due to water clogging and seavage outflow again and again due to blockage of old seaver line and non operstional of new line... During last three months it was due to repeated digging of roads for a good purpose but for last 3 weaks due to just negligence and non handeling of rain water and seavage lines...                                     I am one of the resident of patpar ganj which comes under the mayur vihar area. Our resident is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past three week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.

                                      There is no water supply in our building as well as some more buildings... We get water one day and that is at ridiculous time that is after 2:30 am n then not receiving 4-5 days... Then one day we receive n then again 10 days no water supply... Daily we awake whole night... On d hope that water will come
                                      The line man is saying there is blockage in d severe... But if there is a blockage... How it will come once in a while
