Delhi Jal Board Complaints & Reviews

I had installed a private water meter which after some time got defected. I got it fixed by the water meter company. Now 2 guys from Delhi Jal Board came to check the reading on 26th morning and asking to replace the meter. Why would i replace the meter when it got fixed under 5 years warranty and is working properly. Need clarification on this matter....

I've been receiving too much impure, dirty and contaminated water for about 15 days and still it is continued even after I've complained before, having reference no.[protected]. By having this much ignorance from DJB, I've taken up my trust from it. It has the worst service amongst those services that I currently do have access to.
But still in hope that something would get better in future, I am applying this complaint only on...

In our area the water supply is not sufficient. we are having lack of water supply problem . The water is not reaching at the door step through the pipe lines. Our area is budh vihar ph2 mange ram park ext. street no. 7 delhi 110086.

I am Bhawnesh Bhardwaj husband of Mrs. Sushma Sharma. Flat 715, Metro View Appartments, Sector 13 Pocket B, DDA SFS Flats was purchased in the name of my wife Sushma Sharma in 2009, where as the name reflected in water bill is still of previous owner, Mr Ved Parkash Sethi. All transfer actions were taken and fees paid. It should be changed to my wife name....

I have been treated as zero consumption consumer in view of the residential flat is in a state of repairs for the last several years and remaining vacant. I was charged the service charges only for 0 consumption.Quite to my surprise I received a bill on 12th Nov.2016 for Rs.4164/ to which I lodged a complaint for correction of the bill vide compaint No.[protected] dt.15.11.16 and I got a message on 22nd Nov.that the complaint has been resolved....

Sir,
Inspite of two times of sanction of D.J.B water connection and two times deposited the water connection charges, more than four years have passed but the water connection has not been provided. Kindly investigate what has done in the last four years by D.J.B officers.

I am a resident of fl 9056 vasant kunj, dda lig. My water kno no. [protected]. I installed water meter on december 2016 and informed to djb vasant kunj on 24/12/2016 with dy. No. 8134. But now my first bill generated without meter reading which is very high (Rs. 1858) as average policy with 87 units. As acutally my water meter reading is very low. Please check and do needful to generate correct water bill.

I am surprised that inflated bills are raised in respect of Senior Citizen to harass them .I am 80 years old and the Meter reader is aware that unless I pay Bribe he will keep sending the inflated bills, Please check last 5 years bills and you will find heavy bills in respect of flats and Servant quarter and a Doctors clinic where water is used for washing hands or emergency wash room facilities in the closed market...

Ever since my client took the premises on tenancy in 2013 he had been getting the bills showing average consumption of 12-13 units per month, which he had been paying.
From March 2015 he started receiving bills showing illogically high consumption upto 360 units. On advise of the meter reader of your office my client got the meter changed in Jan. 2016.
From Jan. 2016 again he had been receiving bills showing the same average...
