Hi,

I am resident of add-34 shalimar park Ext Shahdra East Delhi, from last 2-3 months my home water supply become worst day by day, Smell of water not goes even after water purified by RO, we can't use supply water even for daily house hold works.

It was alarming situation for health factor as well.

Kindly look into it & resolve it.
We are very grateful if it is reslove asap.

    I wish to draw your kind attendion towards the problem of dirty water supply being faced by me since april-2016 for which a few complaint made by me with numbers are[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].
    In april sh. P. K. Jain, a. E. Assured over phone, to resolve it, after that i tried several times to contact, but still condition is same.

      I, Bikram Singh Bisht, R/o Sukhar Bazar Road, Near Gopal Dairy, Uttam Nagar, Delhi-110059, Would like to take your attention on the quality of water and supply of water.

      Last 90 days infect more than 90 days we are not getting water supply on daily basis, previously we were getting water supply on daily basis but now these days we are getting water supply on alternate day basis.

      Point Number -2. The quality of water is not good some times we receiving dirty water and it has very bad smell, request you please check this issue and solve the same.

        I m a 70 years old senior citizen living with my 66 yrs old wife in a DDAs LIG flat in East of Kailash, N. Delhi.Our colony, s water were replaced by DJB in Nov., 2014 & accordingly a meter no.15065365 was installed at my premises on 28.11.14. Ever since the said meter was installed I started getting water bills showing inaccurate highly inflated meter reading & it became a regular feature as every time I used to visit DJB office at Giri Nagar to get the bill corrected.Ultimatly after lot of efforts at my end it was inferred by meter reader that the water meter is not getting activated and hence need replacement.Ultimately the above meter was replaced by another meter no. 15045101 on 18.02.2016.But even after the installation of this new meter this problem of highly factitious bills resurfaced, Recently bill no.[protected] dtd.22.07.2016 was corrected as bill no.[protected] dtd.26.07.2016 and bill no.[protected] dated 07.09.2016 was amended as bill no.[protected] dtd. 07.09.2016.It is a matter of great agony for me to every time visit DJB office for rectification of such regular factitious bills which r always on very high side .It clearly shows that this is due to the carelessness of your personnel involved in noting down the water meter reading.I have repeatedly spoken to SPML people in this respect but that too has not yielded any positive results so far and I m still getting bills with wrong meter reading which are always on very high side.Everytime going to your office for this job is really extremely painstaking job.I request to u to humbly to look in to this matter and to see and to ensure that I start getting my water bills with actual meter reading and not with highly factitious meter reading as I m usually and regularly getting.           We are holding water connection Vide KNO [protected] since last 20 years.
          our monthly water consumption is around 25- 30 Units.
          The above mentioned bill is from (27th July to 4th Sept.) is of 37 days. accordingly should have been billed for 30 - 35 units. However the same has been billed for 161 Units which is abnormally high.
          Kindly look in to the matter and do necessary rectifications. we are depositing bill under protest. necessary credit for rectification may please be given to my account.

              Hi Team,

              I have two water connection in two different premises. The bill amount for D-175 West Vinod Nagarwith new K.no [protected] for 62 days with 79 Units is Rs. 1865 and for my another meter of C-39 Mandawali Unchepar with K.no [protected], The bill amount for 68 Days with 90 units is Rs. 3070.
              When asked DJB staffer for the calculations of these two bills... They guys were clue less and started giving non-sense answers.
              Even when i complained about this to ZRO then he also had no clue about how to calculate the exact amount given in the bill.
              These people with no education should not be given jobs in first place and there training should be done on regular basis so that they guys could be the right representative for the Post they guys are handling.

              I am receiving water bills for my one room flat in Rani Bagh area of very huge amount without water meter reading. Even though I am depositing the bills regularly. It is requested the previous bills for the last two years may be corrected and fresh water bill may be issued with proper meter reading at the earliest.

                      As the bill has not been generated with monthly cycle maximum unit consumed has been calculated with high slab.

                      If the bill would have been generated with monthly cycle the units would have been calculated with lower slab, which will be reflected as our actual cost of water.

                          I had applied in djb for getting water supply and also submitted an amount of rs.6510 for new connection, my kno number is [protected], and also doing my regular followup with djb staff but still not getting water supply from djb due to that i am facing much more problems on daily basis and also i have two kids in my family and they are getting stomach infection. I am requesting to all to please help me on the matter and please provide us djb supply on urgent basis.

                            I am a resident of street no.1, rameshwar nagar, azadpur. For about 15 days we are receiving water that is extremely dirty and having very foul smell. The water is so dirty that it seems if it is coming directly from sewage, also it could not be used even for cleaning or washing purposes.

                            As an outcome of this, people of this area are facing too much health issues. We end up buying mineral water for drinking purposes.

                            I am unable to understand why the water is released for consumers without treating properly. This is very critical matter and needs to be looked after and resolved on priority.

                              Delhi Jal Board -We r getting Sewage Water since last 2 wks please solve the issue ASAP. I am resident of parampuri chowk Uttam Nagar near shiv mandir, New delhi-110059. We are getting dirty/contaminated/sewer water from the water pipeline since last 2 wks...How can anyone survive in this dirty condition.I would request you to please take immediate remedial action because in such situation an epidemic cannot be ruled out after using such water.                                 I am one of the resident of east guru angad nagar, gali no 5, Laxmi Nagar. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past three month or more which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it.                                   Last week has been a nightmare for us with sewer ovewrflowing and complaints being transferred from one official to another. This is a case in kalkaji janta flats where even the jal board officials do not know the ward number of the area. I was given ten phone numbers and each official refused to work saying that the area does not fall in his jurisdiction. Such is a pathetic state of delhi jal board and the officers claiming corruption free services.

                                    This bill is cumulative of two years and not as per actual meter reading as the meter was not working. we would like to mention here that we are just two occupants of this floor. considering this fact the bill amount of rs.5016 is inflated.

                                      I filed a complaint for excessive billing No[protected]dated July 13th 2016) for the bill period March 2016 to June 2016. All previous bills had been paid for. After a long email exchange with the Director of Revenue and some other false bills uploaded by the Jalboard, a bill dated August 3rd 2016 was uploaded on the internet. This had the right unit reading from November 2015 to July 2016. The bill also clearly showed the reading falsification of the earlier bill:
                                      Bill No[protected]older bill dated July 13th 2016) gives a meter reading of 880 on 13th March 2016 when the rectified Bill No[protected] dated August 3rd 2016 on 30th Nov has 1050. How can the meter reading decrease. Further please note the contrast of false vs rectified reading.

                                      However, the bill of August 3rd claimed arrears of 13028.31.( No arrears were in the bill dated July 13th) Further It did not deduct the payments already made for this period despite the payment history showing in the bill. Further as per my receipt no[protected]: Payment Date : 04-APR-2016 showed the Amount Due After Pay (Rs.) : -17822.96. These facts showed that the Delhi Jal Board owed a sum of Rs 17, 822 as per April 2016. Hence after deducting the amount of Rs 14, 778 the Jal Board has a balance of Rs 3, 044. Instead of immediately rectifying this a new bill no :[protected] of 1 unit from 21st July to 22nd July was uploaded. Instead of deducting the amount of 14778, it added the amount to 13028 and thus claimed arrears of 27, 808. Again payment history in the bill shows all payments made upto April 2016. Further the bill of 3rd August was erased from the website. I again complained to the CEO and yet another bill was issued[protected]/22Aug-16 for the period from October 2014 to July 2016 asking me to pay Rs 24, 137. This is ridiculous as all bills had been paid for till the period 13th March 2016. How can bills be reissued for periods already paid for. Further there is grave discrepancy in the amounts of the older bills issued and paid for as well as for the period in contention. An extra Rs 28, 000 aprox is billed as compared to earlier bills paid from the same period and to the rectified bill of 3rd August. To give just one example :

                                      New spurious Bill[protected]/22Aug-16 gives for : 15-FEB-2016 to 22-JUL-2016 Subtotal Bill Amount 15932.85

                                      Just from these examples the bill discrepancies and frauds may be seen. This is only the tip of the iceberg as I have documented many other falsifications which have been duly sent to the CEO, the Director Revenue Jalboard and the Zonal Regional Officer Mr D.C.Jain. All this has been submitted to them.

                                      The modus operandi is not to address the valid complaints of excessive billing from the period of 13th March 2016 to 22nd July 2016 but instead to harass the customer. The bill of 3rd August shows the correct meter reading and unit charges but instead of recognizing and rectifying the mistake false arrears are put. When these are challenged with proof more fake bills are issued or in the last instance total denial.

                                      1. Periods already billed and paid for are rebilled with far greater amounts
                                      2. False arrears in contradiction to receipts and payment history
                                      3. Discrepancy in meterage (meter reading of Nov 15 exceeds reading as of 13th March
                                      4. Huge discrepancy in sub bill amounts
                                      5. Spurious Bills have no unit data for sub bill amounts.
                                      6. Spurious Bills do not match bills for the same period.
                                      7. Older bills are removed from website and receipts too are changed (Luckily I have downloaded everything)

                                      This violates the principle of transparency and consumer law.

                                      Further this modus operandi is used to tire out the customer, particularly as in the case of senior citizens. My mother to whom this part of the house belongs is 80 years old. Hence I am taking up this matter for her. Please investigate this fraud and ensure punishment for those indulging in it. As a law abiding INDIAN citizen I wish to see a corruption free transparent India.

                                        Dear sir,

                                        I am resident of c 9/9145, vasant kunj new delhi and having k no [protected] in the name of l r gupta - cat i. My water meter reading pmr dated 29th april 2016 was 1834 and current meter reading cmr on 12.08.2016 was 1902 and same is indicated in the water bill no[protected] dated 12.8.2016. But consumption calculated in 78 in place of 68 which resulted in to a bill for rs1544/- in stead of nil for the period being lesser than 20kl per month on average basis. I understand that the consumer having monthly consumption of 20kl or less is not charged any amount for its water consumption. If it is so, please look into the matter and take corrective action. To avoid lspc i will pay the bill in time and will expect to adjust it in next billing cycle.
