Subject: complaint regarding dirty and smelly water coming in our area.
I applicant raza ahmed s/o habib ur rehman resident of h.No c-228/14 a, street no 10, chauhan bangar, near bilal masjid, new seelampur, delhi-110053. Dirty and smelly water is coming from past 10 days. This water cannot be used in any form. If somebody drinks that water unintentionally then his/her health may be spoil and may be died also. People are extremely in trouble due to this problem. Dirty and smelly water comes at most of the time when we start our motors. From past 10 days we are giving information to respective authorities about this problem. However till now water is not corrected. Jal board officials visits on that time when either water does not come or if it comes then it comes some how clean, for this no action could be drawn. Jal board is not taking any action regarding this serious problem occurring in our area. It seems that intentionally they don’t want to correct water and they misuse their authority. Sir/mam, till now we don’t get any response about our complaint. So we are compelled to do complaint. Kindly look after our problem and do correct it. I would be very grateful to you.

Residence of c85/c86 and c87 patel garde gali no 08 kakrola namely smt praksh devi ln smt sumitra respectively already have their water connection from their colony and now they are trying to bore in front of my house RZ 104 bajaj enclave that is from another colony.
Please take the necessary action and prevent them from taking illegal connections and damaging the public property.

Dear sir i am writing this application from ward no 129 durga park gali no 3. We are purchasing water for drinking because clean water is not available. Here siverage water is mixed with supply water due to it several disease exist there.
Second problem that here no govt officials or person came for cleaning siverage. We had hired a private person for cleaning siver & everybody is paying 50 rs to that person in the street.
We are paying service tax for each service then why delhi jal board is not giving good facilities to us related water & siverage.

I complained vide grievance id:[protected] regarding meter. The officers visited at my residence and noticed that the meter is not running. The meter was fixed by delhi jal board. It was brought to my notice that delhi jal board has no meter in stock. I have already paid my bills till date. Delhi jal board is requested to kindly change my meter. Since the inspector has never visited to note meter reading and i have paid over-billing. Kindly expedite the matter as early as possible.

The water bill generated for the period 29/10/2015 to 17/04/2016 is rs 9089/- which appears unrealistic .Our meter is in working condition hence please adjust this amount under the current scheme launched by chief minister for undue water bills.We are not in a position to pay for such a huge amount towards water bills. Similarly last year we received a bill for rs 10882/- (Meter was in running condition) for the period from 15/10/2014 to 04/03/2015, we paid the same on 25.03.2015.Please arrange to refund the amount of rs 10882/- under chief minister's scheme.

Dear sir,

It is to bring to your notice that our locality (State bank colony, gujranwala town, g.T karnal road delhi-110009)has been suffering the problem of acute water shortage for last 6 months. Water supply has been extremely poor on day to day basis making our lives miserable. Quite often, water supply is so scanty that it is not sufficient for day to day use. Sometimes water is supplied for only for half an hour and sometimes we have to wait the whole day and night for water. But it is very poor dribble that we get from the tap.

I therefore, on behalf of our locality request you to kindly look into the matter and take necessary steps to restore proper supply of water on regular basis.

All the members of our locality will be grateful if you will take immediate action to solve this matter soon.

I stay in neb sarai (Near ignou). I have a djb connection. For the last fortnight no water supply to my building. My k. No. [protected]. Supply through tanker takes too long. In fact we are without water for the last fortnight. Delhi chief minister promised 21000 litres of free water to every household. My submission is that don't supply free water. Charge us and supply water for our survival.

From starting of this month our building families suffering from no water coming problem.
Water coming only for 15 minutes in the morning.
Actually djb team had changed the main water supply pipe line in fateh nagar. After this change this problem arise.
I complain for same to 1916 .

Now i am getting complaint resolve messages but no one from delhi jal board team comes to check the problem, how they can mark resolve without checking the problem?

Again i have registered new complain[protected].

Yesterday djb labor has fixed same type problem in our street, we asked them to fix our problem too but they refuse.

I called je of my area, he refused to resolve this problem and saying labor is not willing to fixed the same.

Then i called ee of my area . He says, that is related to je, i can't do anything.


Please look into this.

This is in regard to the policy: Average Basis, they are applying, instead of applying Actual Basis. Because our meter is in working condition also and in spite of it Delhi Jal Board is calculating our bill amount on the basis of Average Policy. Because of which we are not able to take the exemption benefit.
As inspector also visited and saw meter in running condition but till now no action taken in this for doing status Regular in Bill.
So please take the actual reading and then generate the invoice after giving us exemption benefit as per Delhi Govt. Jal Board Scheme.

Dear sir,
We are the residents of mandawali unchepar, near tarawati hospital, delhi 92. This area is under mr. Manish sisodia, deputy chief minister of delhi.
For past one year or so, we get contaminated water supply in our area. We have complaint to delhi jal board officials about it but they say complain to higher authorities. Many people in our area have fallen sick due to this water. The supplied water is so dirty that it even smells really bad forget about drinking. This issue must be immediately taken care of otherwise it will be a major problem with the health of the residents of mandawali unchepar.

Dear DJB,
As we all are know about the water crises in Maharashtra. And we should learn the lesson of save water.
I am belong to J block shiv ram park and I see every day how people tend to waste the water and using unauthorized connection of shiv ram park. Only few people have connection of water rest of the people using unauthorized connection the water always flow in the drains and road.
i m requesting you kindly...

Sewer line blocked of c block rajouri garden ( c-1 to c-32)
I am resident of c-29 rajouri garden since 48 years, our sewer line of c block rajouri garden is blocked and several complaints to djb have gone to deaf ears, last 5 days i have been running around to various departments of djb but the situation remains the same.
The old line is partially blocked and djb officials don't want to clear the blockage due to vested interests, the new line they say is functional and we have to take new connections, i have been approached by two vendors saying they are official contractors of djb and will charge rs 40, 000/- from me, they are deliberately not cleaning the blockage in the old line which is 100% functional just to fill their own pockets.
This is a racket and needs to be brought to notice of higher authorities.
Would request the authorities to take a stern action against the defaulters and clear the sewerage system at the earliest.
Your early action shall be highly appreciated.

It is to draw the attention of the authority towards the smelly and dirty water supply in the bhajan pura, c-block, delhi - 110053. We are facing this problem from last 10-12 months. Most of the c- block sewar are also over flowing but no body from the djb is serious about this until mass population of that area suffers from contaminated and water born deceases.

This is in regard to the excess billing of water by delhi jal board.
our bill amount 2229 is for 3 months however we did not used this much amount of water. we both are working so no one stay at home.. my hardly request to you kindly check our meter . please discount our bill amount.
