Hamre Gaon – Sakaniakot, P. O. – Bhagtola, Distt – Almora mai pani ki bhoot kami hai, hamare gaon mai abhi tak kahi se pani ka sroth nahi aya hai ajkal hamare gaon waloo ko rat mai pani lane jana par raha hai hamare gaon wale rat ko 1:30 AM me pani bharane jate hai. Dirty/Sewage Water coming in waterlines

I am resident of East Vinod Nagar F-Block Gali No-1Delhi 110091.From the last 15 days my street is suffering from highly dirty, smelly & Sewage type water coming from the DJB water supply which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons sick hospitalised.

I think under ground water lined are leaked from some places & Sewage water got mixed within. We have also complaint for sewage blockage and MCD people already cleared the sewage line. Now, I request Delhi Jal board to check their water lines for leakage. I

hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that WE ARE DELHITIES

We are residents of Basai Dara Pur, Moti Nagar, New Delhi Area. We are not atall getting the water from Delhi Jal Board. The Copmplaint has been made to Mr. Kukreja, SE of DJB and other relevant viz Local MLA. But in vain. This is shear neglegence of the dutues by the DJB and the concerned SE. The irresponsible approach of SE and Water Mafia including Anti social Villaregs are behind this ACT. The residents are not getting the water and facing acute problem due to non availability of water. The DJB should make necessary arrangements to provide water. Pls redress this complaint/problem to the concerned as soon as possible. The chairman of DJB is Sheela Dixit.
The police help may be initiated to arrest these antisocial elements.

I am a resident of B-Block Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi for last few days we are not getting water on regular basis. We have watch out for water for whole day whether it is night or mornining or evening. It is not feasible for anybody to go and check the water for all the time. Beside this there is no fixed time when we will get the water. So, we have to ask for tanker for almost everyday, and tanker also takes time since they have supply the water for all other compalints.
So, it is humble request to you, if it not possible for you to provide water for 24 hours then atleast three / four hours of continuous supply of water so that we can fullfill our basic needs.

Treat the mail as most urgent, as we are in very desparate condition and looking for every drop of water to fall from the tap.

it is stated that there is no water supply in some house of H. Delhi Jal Board — Inadequate Potable Water Supply

I am a resident of J-1, DDA Flats Kalkaji, New Delhi. The flats located at dead end of the water supply pipe line are facing scarcity of water since the summer started this year. The water meter already installed become defective due to low pressure in water supply by the DJB. The DJB is pressing hard to install fresh water meters and has sent the bill double the amount.
Before installation of a new one water meter, DJB should ensure that the water supply is regular and at full pressure in order to avoid defect in the to be installed water meters.

In view of the above, I request to direct DJB officials to supply the potable water at full pressure to the residents who are at the dead of the water supply line and the excess amount billed be adjusted in the future bills. Also requested that the faulty water meters should be replaced by the DJB at their own expenses.

Subject: NO DJB WATER SUPPLY

Sir,

Reference is invited to our letter dated 9-7-2010 handed over to Sh. Sukhai Ram Chief Engineer( North Central) regarding poor/no water supply to the residents of Block-8, Dev Nagar, Karol Bagh, New Delhi. Our problem is regarding SHORT / NO WATER SUPPLY due to high ground level as compared to other blocks in the area. This problem is in knowledge of most of the officers of your department for quite some time. All the residents of BLOCK 8, DEV NAGAR are in contact with Zonal Engineer, Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer as well as your goodself. Day in and day out situation is going worsen and worsen.

Previously, off & on we used to get half an hour water supply through valve operation system which was maintained /controlled by Delhi Jal Board. We used to get water from 6.20 A.M. to 6.45 A.M. (although the valve operation was done from 6.10 A.M. but due to higher ground level some 10-15 minutes are lost in maintaining the approchable level).

Now, Jal Board has made an experimental arrangement of by passing the valve due to that the WHOLE water is RUNS through the low level and we gets no water. Kindly note that very frequently emergency water tanker through tractor trolley is being sent to our block that shows there is definitely no water supply to our block (You can check from your emergency water record that how frequently Emergency water tank is being disposed to our block).
After this new experiment of supplying water we are at the mercy of other resident ( Block 9 & 10, Dev Nagar) "if they don't need water then only we will get" Also water is being supplied in a HIDDEN WAY due to that we are forced to get water at odd hours. On 31st July, 2010 we got water at 11.55. P.M. (night) and on 2.8.2010 we were informed to check availaibility of water at 4.00 A.M. in the morning. It is very difficult to cope up with these odd timings and do our curriculums at office and home front. Kindly note that from all these impractical methods of supply DJB water we get only 15-20 minutes of water supply and that to sometimes. We are byuing drinking water from market, don't take bath daily, wear dirty clothes as GROUND booster water used for bathing and cleaning is also not supplied to us.
It is requested to take some CONCRETE, PRACTICAL, FEASIBLE and LONG LASTING steps to fulfill our requirement of water. If possible, the low level areas and high level area may be devided and separate arrangement for water supply may be made.
Temporarily the old system of valve operation may be made to get at least some water to survive.

PROBLEM:

CONCRETE, PRACTICAL, FEASIBLE and LONG LASTING SOLUTION PROPOSED:

• Provision of separate WATER SUPPLY LINE for Block 9&10
• Existing line should be upto Block-8

TEMPORARY SOLUTION PROPOSED for SURVIVAL

• Temporarily the old system of valve operation may be made
• or if bye pass system it should be at proper height and angle to give brake to flowing water so as to enter in All galis of Block 8
• or A valve may be provided at new Bye pass 4” line and the flow can be regulated, and at a position where both sides water is available the valve can be sealed.

Requesting for instant Temporary and speedy permanent solution.

Con't you make the supply of water without contamination and adequate. In this connection plenty of complaint verbal, in writing and through internet logged but sorry to say no solution till date has been taken. It is more then a year we are facing the above said problems. The supply in our area is normal, to some part it is abandoned, why this inequality with us, are we not citizen of India or we are II grade citizen? I once again request you to please take necessary steps on a priority and urgent basis to solve our problem without any further delay.

Dear Sir,
I have been surprised to receive the infinite water bill of bill no.[protected]Old WCN: 29834 & New KNO: [protected]) Rs. 3079/- although there has been not a single drop of water supply since last 2 years in ‘Street No. 7, Parampuri, Uttam Nagar’ area leaving aside very few houses nearer to the main water line and also our water meter is quite OK with the present reading is 51 K.L. instead of 201 K.L. as shown in received bill which is totally incorrect and may be this reading was of some other meters installed in our apartment of 7 floors. The reading has not been collected by meter reader and if we ask him to take reading, then his words are ‘if water is not coming, then there is no purpose to take reading of water meter. Since there had been no water supply then meter reading has not increased but does not mean that water meter is not working ‘as shown the meter status is N.S.’ how it is possible. While it is working absolutely fine and you check this any time.
We have complained many times against water supply but no action has been taken by any one. Even Shri Dharam Vir, J.E. have personally visited in street No. 7 with labour a year back and dogged out near house no. 20 to see the level of pipe lines to main lines and he found that pipe line is laid down, improper alignment and very poor water flow in street no. 7 that why water was not reached in our houses but till date no action has been taken.
So, due to these reason it is not feasible to pay the bill unless properly revised bill is given by analysis of water supply.

We had new water connection reference connection number 44470 dated 10/06/08. We are highly thankful for the connection. We have a small office having three working staff the first bill has received by us was on 15/01/09. Amounting Rs.1500/- immediately this was brought in the notice of your office. Again we received a bill on 18/03/09. Amounting Rs.1544/-. we are only using three to four buckets in day but the bill amount showing very high consumption.

There is no fixed time of water supply in Rohini sec-24 (Pocket 3). Can you please fix up a time so that the residents do not face problems.

Dear Sir,

We are resident of Durga Vihar, New Delhi – 62. We are facing serious problem of water for last 2 month from Quarter No. B / 131 to B / 148 due to improper distribution system of water supply or pipelines. Some Quarter are getting as much water as not imagine. They wash their whole house, and outside road, daily given water to plants and wash their vehicles and animals through supply water. And we are not getting even a single drop of water through supply. Here is Tube Well used for water supply.

We weekly call the local water tank supplier regarding water and pay money to him. And also pay regularly bill payment to Delhi Jal Board. We use water like ration. Three child bath through 1 balti water in between 3 day frequency. Clean floor in 3 day frequency.

I requested to you kindly check it out the reason behind such discrepancies.

We bring into your kind notice that the Lal Dora was extended of our village Kharkhari Nahar, Post Office Najafgarh, New Delhi -110043 under law and the executive Counsellor Respected “Ch. Prem Singh’’ during the period 1987-88 and distributed 120 Sq Yard plot for 235 poor peoples during 20th point program, but there is no facility provided for the resident of colony.
During raining session the streets of the colony filled up muddy water. Rainy season comes in the most trouble. These days the students in the schools, hospital patients and the other for work outside the village, the people have to go through mud-filled. Delhi India's capital and third largest city. But no facility provided for the resident of colony and no construct various roads of colony.
These are the residents of village Kharkhari Nahar which falls in Matiala Constituency, there is no drinking water provided to resident. All villagers are facing a lot of problems, also no drinking water has been given to the residents of colony. Water pipe line has been already lay down, but there is no water connection done and also no regular supply. Please find enclosed herewith a representation duly signature copy, by the residents of KharKhari Nahar Village. Regarding water connection & Street.

Dear Sir,

We are resident of Durga Vihar, New Delhi – 62. We are facing serious problem of water for last 2 month due to improper distribution system of water supply or pipelines. Some Quarter are getting as much water as not imagine. They wash their whole house, and outside road, daily given water to plants and wash their vehicles and animals through supply water. And we are not getting even a single drop of water through supply. Here is Tube Well used for water supply.

The person of Delhi jal board who have all the responsibility of this area his name is Mr. Phool Dev, He is not working his work properly, He is very rude about his Work, Plz take some serious action against him, We weekly call the local water tank supplier regarding water and pay money to him. And also pay regularly bill payment to Delhi Jal Board. We use water like ration.

I requested to you kindly check it out the reason behind such discrepancies.

I am a resident of G-52 Batla House Jamia Nagar New Delhi. We have been facing severe problem of overflowing sewer lines in our locality for the last 3-4 months. Despite lodging complaint several times to authorities, nothing has been done so far. There is dirt and filth all around. Faeces is overflowing. Our Kitchen line and toilet lines are also blocked. We request an immediate action to restore cleanliness

Please ensure cleaning of sewer lines of G-52 Block, Batla House Jamia Nagar. The situation is really bad. People are falling sick due to foul smell.

I am a resident of 4/17 punjabi bagh extention new delhi, it is been six months that we are living in unhygenic condition courtesy Delhi Jal Board, every second week sewer line is blocked, because of this the bad smell of dirty water is available 24 hrs at my house & all the drains are blocked, W/C are over flooded with the dirty smelly water always, we can not eat food because of bad smell, my children are falling sick due to unhygenic condition at my house, we always complaint for the same problem but the authority take a week to understand the same problem every time, everyday we make a call to them request them to rectify this problem but nothing has been done concrete so far .A immediate action is required to this problem from the Delhi Jal Board authority. I have been living in this place from last 25 years & i havent seen that these sewerage line is cleared by these authority so how can these line can function properly they are bound to block if not cleared regularly. I have a humble request to solve this problem as soon as possible.

I want to throw light on one of the major civic problems being faced by our colony Uday Chand Marg, Kotla Mubarakpur, Delhi 110003 .Since last several years this problem has surfaced in my area which is leading to a messy situation in the area with lots of diseases .Sewerage situation in the area is too bad that even standing in the Uday chand marg lane is very difficult .This lane is home to several diseases where currently it is very difficult to even breathe .I visited the lane yesterday 24/08/2009 and took some videos to show one of the major areas in our vicinity .



Since this place is merely 1.5 -2 kms away from Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium and Thyagraj stadium where commonwealth games are going to happen next year .

Situation in the area is so worse that old senior citizens have fallen and broken their bones in the lane due to excessive water logging and poor drainage system .We have sent several complaints in the past to Delhi Jal Board and local authorities but no one in the area is able to listen and not even a single action took place .



There is a major risk of Malaria, Cholera, Tuberculosis and Swine flu like diseases .Womens and childrens cant even walk in their own lane due to the risk of diseases .

Several people in the past have been admitted to AIIMS and Safderjung hospital due to Illness and diseases .



The sewer line in the area is choked which doesn’t allow water to flow away, thanks to poor drainage system which amounts to the trouble .We have sent several complaints and applications in the past to various authorities with no avail as such .


We are followers of congress party since last 50 years as this area is under the name of my great grandfather .With kind of faith and trust we put into the party we want justice to our woes as living in the area like Uday chand marg is like hell .Residents o[censored]day Chand Marg don’t understand why there is a discrimination against their colony when sewerage line of all other nearby areas like Arjun Nagar, Wazir Nagar and Gurudwara Road are completely changed .



This area is one of the major localities of South Delhi, within close vicinity of South extension part 1, Defence Colony, AIIMS, Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium and Asiad Village .





Even water coming in the taps is full of dirt and waste material . people are forced to drink that which leads to several deaths .Delhi Jal board has so far not taken any kind of action with several complaints in the past .I have personally been ill for last so many days due to viral fever due to sewerage .Me being a senior citizen is now experiencing all kinds of troubles at this age .Ladies and old people in the area are unable to even walk down the lane .



Our relatives cant even visit our home due to this watery mess and last week one of my friends daughter who stays in nearby house, who is married came here with her children and due to poor road and sewerage condition, her son fell down the road breaking his legs, therefore her son has to be admitted to the hospital for a broken leg case .Also some of the people in the area got admitted last week in AIIMS due to suspicion of Swine Flu like symptoms .



We are living in 21st century where India is on a roll and congress party has big role to play in that, there is no doubt about that but still these kind of sewerage and drainage problems are existing in south delhi’s affluent colonies .We are law abiding citizens and therefore demand a severe and high level inquiry into this problem so that we can live our lives peacefully without any diseases .



It is my kind hearted request to all the assigned authorities to take an urgent action to solve this problem once for all so that our faith in Congress party remains intact .

We are facing the problem of water before last four days our water pipeline repaired/joint a new pipeline by Delhi Jal Board on 26-12-08, after that our pipeline is blocked of H.No.290, 294, 293 & 296 of KD Block, but our some neighbours getting the water that is not in sufficient quantity or not pure (mixed with some dust).

As such, Delhi Jal Board, Najafgarh has supplied water tanker in the Village. I have serveral times requested to Jal Board, Najafgarh to provide the little water takner for four houses at Lakshi Johar Point.within a week. the Xen has promised to me that the little water tanker will be provided to 1st May, 2009. But the same has not been taken action in so far. Please arrange the said tanker at the earliest. I t is very facing problem of water in four houses.

WE ARE RESIDING AT BLOCK NO. 50 AND 51, ASHOK NAGAR, NEW DELHI-110018 FROM LAST 5 YEARS. WE ARE FACING THE PROBLEMS OF NON WATER SUPPLY FROM LAST 3 MONTHS. OUR BLOCK IS NEAR AT SINDHI MINDER WALI GALI, ASHOK NAGAR, NEW DELHI- 110018.

IN LAST MONTHS, WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN GONE MANY TIMES TO DELHI JAL BOARD 'S OFFICE IN WEST, BUT THEY ARE NOT TAKING PROPER ACTION. MAIN CHIEF ENGINEER IS ONLY PROMISING WITH US FOR WATER -SUPPLY BUT HE IS NOT TAKING ANY ACTION FOR WATER PIPE-LINES.

WE HAVE ALSO GONE TO THIS AREA'S M.L.A. O.P. BABAR JI FOR THIS PROBLEM. BUT WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE TILL DATE. SIR, I HOPE THAT YOU WILL SOLVE OUR THIS PROBLEMS OF NON-WATER SUPPLY.

Sir I am working with Telecom Regulatory Authority of India at Mahanagar Doorsanchar Bhawan, JLN Marg, Old Minto Bridge, Delhi-110002. Sir I am living with my small family in Sagarpur, I have two Kids, One Daughter studying in St Marks School, Janakpuri and my Son is just 2 years of age.

Sir, above mentioned details are given only to introduced you with the problems facing by the peoples having small family and old age parents living in sagarpur. Sir everybody are aware the road conditions of Sagarpur, there are so many garbage on side the road, open sever, open holes where rain water get stored in Rainy season but we are forced to live their in such conditions. Peoples are not even walk properly because of sand, holes, garbage spread on the roads in sagarpur. We are totally helpless and hopeless with the working of MCD in that area.

Sir as I mentioned above my 6 years old Daughter study in St. Marks School Janakpuri, I dint get convence for Pickup and drop for her school. I have contacted many Maxi-cab Peoples but they have denied providing pickup- and dropping because of the condition of Roads in Sagarpur. Sir even it is not easy for my wife to cover 5 Kms distance with my 2 years old son after meeting problems with the Road conditions in Sagarpur. Sir as a Good Human being, you can understand the problems facing by us.

Government constructed multiple flyovers with a millions of expense, I also appreciate this development of our government, but can’t they spend lakhs of money to build straight road/ to cover open sewerage.

Sir this is last, but not least. Sir every Tuesday open Market is placed in our area, it is a residential area, people cant even enter their vehicles because of rush due to that market in our street in that market. Sir is it permissible to put open market in the residential area, as we all aware that we are facing terrorism in our country, who will be the responsible if some miss happening take place.

Sir, I am not the only person facing this problem but every single person live in Sagarpur facing this problem in hope that one good fellow take charge of this area and solve the problems of poor peoples.


I request you to kindly deal this matter and do the needful for poor peoples as they dont have any other source where their problems get resolve.

Damaged laterine bathroom pipelines (drops of laterine water are felling on our bodies) 4. Widened all windows, made additional ventilator in bathroom. 5. Making commercial use of flat (painting industry, paintings are made by children at 5.00pm and 9.00am almost daily and on Sat & Sunday at 9.00 morning, more rush ). 6. Made room with plastic sheets iron structure on roof which is not allowed due to common place for classes. 7. Put many plants in stairs not allowed because it is common place for residents, water comes down to our door. 8. Beaten my wife with chappals by Mrs. Choudhury and his daughter, when complained, police said that in medical nothing will come so no use of complaining. Request that an early action may be taken.

I am residing in Gali No. 9, Madanpuri, West Sagar pur, New Delhi. We are facing problems due to bad smelled water (Sewer line mixed) in the dringing water supply pipenine since last 15 days. But unfortunately, nobody has visietd to short out the problems. We are compalled to get the drinking water from the DESU colony.

Its huble request please depute an engineer with his team to short out the severage water mixing problem in the drinking water supply.

Dear Sir,

I am residence of 147-A, DDA Flats, Sunlight Colony-II, Ashram New Delhi. We are facing problems due to chocked sewer line in the back side of the DDA flats, bad smell and Sewer line water coming out in the back side of the houses since last 2 months. Your official visited the site but they are not able to open the chocked sewer line.

Its our humble request please depute an engineer with his team to short out the problem and change the sewer line which has not been changed since 25-30 years. This is the only solution to the resident of the colony to save them from mosquito, bad sell, seepage and there a danger of spread of dengu and epidemics in the area. We have already visited so many times to Jal Sadan Jal Vihar and wrote so manny letters to your Jr.Engineers.

Once again it is requested to kindly change the sewer line as early as possible.
