We have received an inflated bill message from DJB of Rs. 16083, when our average consumption is only 50-55 units every 2 months in summers. There is not so much water supply either. We cannot use 266 units in just two months at 4.15 units per day, when water supply is only for 45 minutes in the morning and in the evening. you are requested to please rectify the bill. We have never got a bill for more than Rs. 1500 for 2 months cycle.

Updated by sseth99 Thiis the bill of Rs. 16083 downloaded from the DJB website. KIndly rectify the same, as it is faulty. I have never received a bill for more then Rs. 1500. Kindly do the needfull and oblige.

Sir, how can a family of just four people (two adults and two children), use so much of water
in the mentioned period ? Please understand. The billing belongs to the lockdown period, so
no guests have not come either. There is not so much of water supply either; only in the morning
and evening.
Sir, further kindly
1) Kindly get our meter changed urgently, as it has gone faulty.
2) Kindly give us a bill according to our previous average billing before the lockdown period.

This is with reference to our previous emails.
After observing the water meter for over 1 week, we have observed that the meter starts 15-20 minutes early before actual water supply starts, and keeps on moving for 15-20 minutes after the water supply stops. It is
also moving fast. Last reading recorded was 2797, and it has already moved to 2826 today evening 7:55p.m., that is 29 units in just 1 week or so, otherwise we will get another steep bill.
So, kindly get the meter checked urgently, since the water meter is faulty.
