I have submitted multiple complaints through letter to ZRO (Rajinder Nagar- Delhi) regarding incorrect meter reading however it is not getting resolved. I have already highlighted multiple times that the meter reader has recorded an incorrect reading which more than the current reading. I have received a response from the officials stating that you have to wait till your meter reading goes beyond the incorrect reading inputed in records which is 211 units. My flat is vacant from last two years due to which the consumption is not increasing
However to my disbelief an exhirbitant amount of bill of 1708 has been generated. I have produced proofs of the correct reading and even requested the ZRO to conduct an independent verification of the meter. All these requests have gone unanswered till now. The reading issue has been validated by the meter reader ( Mr Praveen Tiwari) however no resolution has been provided till date.
In the latest bill dated 18th January 2022, meter status has been marked as RDDT and a bill of 1708 is generated. Request authorities to take a stern action against the officials involved as this is causing undue harassment to me and my family. Also request you to rectify the bills at the earliest.
