My earlier complaints [protected] and 1694127 for inflated bill received for the period august 2015 to may 2017 (Bill no.[protected] is still to be answered by djb. We have already made payment of approx. Rs.28502 /- out of the total amount of approx. Rs.48107/-. Upon a written complaint to djb revenue officer mr. Ram nivas, meter testing was done and the djb has confirmed that meter is working fine. Meter is functioning ok is also confirmed by bill received for june 2017 which is rs.536/-. (Bill no.[protected]
The above particulars obviously show that djb has not visited my premises to take the actual meter reading. I did not received any bill during aug 2015 to may 2017, rather i on my own made an advance payment of approx. Rs.6300/- in aug 2016. They have made some arbitary calculation and sent the bill for aug 2015 to may 2017 (Bill no.[protected].
Djb needs to show me on what bast charged approx. Rs.2300/- per month for bill no.[protected] while it charges rs.536 for the bill no.[protected]. Djb needs to correct the remaining amount and send me the correct amount so that payment can be made as they have confirmed meter to be working fine and the same meter cannot generate meter reading which amounts to rs.2300/- per month and then next month comes back normal monthly figure of rs.536/-. Djb needs to ensure their staff visits the home to take correct reading and hence gives proper bill and not harass the cunsumer.
Again to reiterate, we will not make further payyynt unless and until djb corrects the bill. Was this information helpful? |
