Delhi Jal Board — wrongly charged water bill from past 6 months | |||
Hello delhi jal board team, My name is mrs. Sumitra sharma and i have a house in malikpur area. I am observing that from past 6 months i am receiving wrong meter reading bills and with high charges. When i tried speaking to the person (Officer) who comes and checks the meter reading. He started abusing and shouting. My tenants fought with him and end result was i had paid 32000/- rs as water charges to the department. However, i went to the department as well and told about wrong/unnecessary bills are getting issued. They said they will check and i wont get from next bill cycle. As per delhi jal board rules, 20, 000 liters of water is free to the houses of that area but there's no such consumption from my house still i am receiving the bills. Please help and let me know what should i do?
