Dear Sir/Madam,
I had ordered a product from Shopper’s Stop (SS) online and the product that was delivered to me was not the same product so I returned it following their instructions in 2 days.

After calling them, I was informed that the product which I ordered is available and they will exchange and send the correct product.
I was waiting for it and suddenly I get a mail saying that I will be getting a cheque from SS. I called SS and I asked why the cheque. They told me that the product is not available. All this happened over a period of 20 days.
As this was COD basis, I was to get back my money via cheque as per their rules.
I was waiting for my cheque but I never received it.Nor did I get a call from Bluedart.
I called SS couple of times and then started recording names. I spoke to one Mr.Suresh who said that they have received back the cheque from Bluedart. I requested him to resend the cheque to me but to my office address instead.
He said he will have to consult his manager and will revert back. I never received call.
I talked to Mr.Amandit but with same result.
Then I talked to Tanya on 7TH Jan ’13, who said they received the cheque and I repeated my story. She told me (after consulting some manager and I insisted to be kept online) to send a mail to SS giving the reason for change of address and the new address details. I sent the mail immediately.
There was no reply. So I called SS and again talked to Tanya who said that they received the cheque today! They have not been verifying and have been giving wrong information all along.
Then she said she will follow up with the courier details and in 48 hours I should be getting a mail. I didn’t get any notification and called SS again and spoke to Mr.Milind this time who told me that the cheque is with them and he had to talk to his manager.
After consulting, he told me that in 24 hours I will get the details.
I have lost my patience and have informed him that I don’t have any option but to approach consumer court.
The problems I have faced are:
• Getting wrong product
• Promised correct product which was a lie
• Was not notified about the cheque details
• Was kept waiting for product
• Still kept waiting for cheque
• Pathetic customer service
• Was lied saying that they have received back cheque
• Wasted my time in follow-up
• Uselessly spent more on mobile bill by calling them 8 to 10 times and many times was kept on hold
I would not only like my money back but I would like compensation for having kept me waiting and for deplorable and pathetic service and for deceiving customers showing products online which are not in stock. It’s been more than a month and I would really appreciate your help in closing this matter.
