Dear Authorities,

I'm writing to express my concern as I feel cheated by “Dewan Housing Finance Corporation” which is now a part of “Piramal Enterprises”. I'm a 63 years old widow women. I had worked all my life as a school teacher and accumulated some money which I had invested in a fixed deposit scheme with DHFL on 05th September, 2018. My father had taken FD in DHFL but they had refund only 23, % of principal amount out of 1 Lacs 9 Thousand they had refunded only 27122 Rs. And cheated with all India FD Holders. Piramal group also equally responsible as they had purchased this company.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have taken home loan from DHFL in 2012 and till date I am paying it regularly. But for last 3 years DHFL has become defaulter due to its promoters unfair practices and since then everybody is bothered about company investors and depositors that is fine but nobody is thinking about small individuals those have taken home loans from DHFL and paying home loan interest @ 11% and more for last 3 years where other banks are providing HL @6.75%. The problem is that all banks are not ready to transfer home loan of DHFL in their books.

    I don’t understand when this default case was placed in NCLT for resolution and got settled at around 35% by takeover company then why they are continuing high rate of interest to borrowers. Who are getting benefited by this high interest income for last 3 years?

    We as small borrowers are losing our money by paying interest almost double then other banks. On behalf of all such small borrowers I would like to request banking or any authority who looks after such queries, for reduction in home loan interest atleast near to existing market rates at the earliest.

        I had taken a home loan from DHFL in 2015 for Rs 1655409 for a period of 28 years. My loan code is 00004238 & current interest rate is 16.67% .
        DHFL kept increasing the rate of interest and tenure on my loan without consulting me and it is now till shows 28 years duration. After paying EMIs regularly for 6 years, still principal of Rs above 1600000 is outstanding. It is unfathomable that 6 years the duration has expired but the principal has only seen the reduction of less than 50 thousand rupees, which is less than 3 percent. I have contacted DHFL multiple time regarding to reduction of interest rate, but they are dined for the reduction.

          I have complained earlier also in Feb 2021about unethical contineous increase of Home Loan rate. in between Feb2019 to April- 2019 my ROI increased from 9% to 10.22%. 1.22 % increased in 3 consecutive months.

          I demand immediate attention and action to stop this unjustified/unethical practice.

              I have written many times as under trail mail, but not resolved yet. So now I shall have to go to RBI and others authorities for this matter. I am asking resolve my problem.but you replied all same as in trail mail.even you do not read it's carefully. I have written that bring this notice to your seniors about my pain.I belongs to a poor family and lost job during Corona. I was struggling all world is struggling till now but you replied same. I have asked revise my ROI as par RBI guideline but you not resolved. I asked for PMAY benefit but till yet not resolved or applied.I have written that during Corona can not visit but always reply same. I have told you that now I am out of India join a small job like labour but you asked for visit my office. How is it possible.

              I am ready to pay my EMI plz confirm EMI which have to pay. Why are you writing for meeting why. Plz confirm my final EMI from next month onwards. I will pay through online timely. Revise my file and Send link for payment EMI. Share mob. No. Of concerned officer. I am unable to visit your office due to I am out of India. Bring this notice to your management that you are teasing me reply same again and again not in favour of company and client. I can use your reply in legal court not resolve my problem.

                    I am residing I Bangslore and My foreclosure letter is with Kolar forcing me to travel whereas my loan and property is in bangalore.
                    DHFL customer care email service just copy pastes the same reply without reading the issue here.
                    I am infected with COVID and in this period DHFL is behaving this bad to customers. This has created lot of grievances

                      I have taken Home loan from DHFL, Vadodara Branch in 2017. I have submitted all required documents for subsidy. But they did not let me know the issues with my documents until last year December'20 when I reached out to them. After that I submitted documents and again reached out to team to check the status in Jun'21. I kept on checking with team multiple times and every time I get the same response again and again which is very very frustrating. It seems like they have kept Auto Response for all PMAY related queries. Please see below response from DHFL.

                      With reference to your query on your loan application no: 01698724 for PMAY CLSS scheme, we are pleased to inform you that your claim request is queued for submission with Central Nodal Agency (NHB) vide Reference No. [protected] However, we would like you to know the following in context:
                      1 The Reference/Application ID being shared with you is generated upon successful registration of Your Aadhaar details on the CLAP portal and conclusion of all due diligences in context. This includes upload of your complete claim details on the portal.
                      2 Once the above steps are successfully concluded; the customer receives an SMS on his mobile (i.e. on the number registered against his Aadhaar Card on the UIDAI portal)
                      3 Following this the Nodal Agency (NHB) approves the subsidy claim – The TAT/ time lag for this activity is as per standard regulatory timelines.

                      I really don't understand why can't these people be more genuine and respond to people in need. Due to Corona pandemic I have financial issues and I really want to keep my home. If I can get subsidy soon, it will be a bit of relief for me.

                      Please plz plz show some empathy to people who are in trouble and don't frustrate them with your Auto replies. :(

                        I have some fixed deposits with DHFL. I had given a request for change of phone number on 11/08/21. Till date even after more than 25 days the request is not processed.
                        I urgently require this change to be done to confirm for withdrawal of deposits
                        Hope this complaint is taken seriously and it results in positive action

                          I had given a request for change of phone number in 11/08/21. The complaint was registered SRF DO3934462. Till date even after more 25 days the phone number has not been changed. Repeated calls to customer care and mails have also not resulted in any action.

                          I hope this complaint is taken seriously and results in some positive action

                            We have taken a home loan from DHFL of 13 lakh and they are unable to pay the loan amount as they do not have fund. We tranfer the loan with Bank of Baroda. For the subsidy provided by government they are not. Sharing details. They applied for subsidy and not providing out subsidy amount.

                                My name is PIYUSH KANTILAL MAKWANA. my dhfl loan code is 00007742. i have taken loan from your JUNAGADH branch. and applied for pmay on 16th march 2018. but till date subsidy not received. when im calling to customer care, they only neglecting to give proper answer and telling me to submit the documents. when i applied for pmay that time i have submitted the documents. now they are demandig the documents where i lived on rental and of my home town documents which is already on my fathers name. i have submitted the same on [protected]@dhfl.com. but they never informed me to submit this document earlier and now 5 months gone they required this documents. so as per the requisted documents are mailed to the dhfl. and office but stilll no result. means they are only delaying the process purposely and not submitting the documents to NHB.

                                    When I have sanctioned loan with DHFL the interest rate is 8.95% now they charging 12.17%. Not sure why they have charged high interest rate. However, I have variable rate but ROI is not acceptable.
