AWB - [protected] shipment landed at BOM airport on 7-Feb-2021. No one from DHL responding on time even after taking follow up and sending reminders. Package was not located by DHL till 22-Feb-2021. Pathetic service by DHL and team members involved in this shipment clearance. I need DHL to fire all these team members. Below email id given who were not responding to customer.

    I made an online Purchase. I imported the same product from two different websites. UPS did a flawless delivery with a BCD of 10%, SWC on BCD 10% and IGST. Delivered the package quickly in 1 weeks time.

    Where as DHL INDIA is a 100% fraud company full of cheaters, they are trying to fleece with 78% duty. AWB [protected]. Their employees harassed for 2 months. I Paid the duty similarly as paid by UPS too.

    How can 2 different courier company have different duties on the same product. Be very careful of DHL India. They are a 100% fraud company. Be extremely careful use UPS/FEDEX. Do not use DHL. They have no integrity, ethics, principals. They are a 100% fraud company. Be very careful. Harassment for 2 months and not delivered the product. DO NOT USE DHL. 100% FRAUD SHIPPERS.

    1. I have attached the files for duty paid by UPS and a smooth transaction. I was so fed up dealing with DHL, that I ordered via UPS. Amazing service. UPS is an ethical company.

    2. Attached is the fraud DHL is trying to pull off with the duty. Total torture, harassment by DHL CS.

    3. Duty paid by me yesterday as per the UPS and DHL.

    DHL not yet delivered.

      Sam overseas (Manufacturer) on behalf of v sss mart india had booked dhl india to ship 8 cartoons total 800 genuine leather trifold pop up wallets worth rs. 8 00 000/- (Invoice attached) to be sent to usa by paying shipping charges worth rs. 1 57 997/-. Dhl failed to deliver the shipment to the destination and charges again to return the goods rs. 18 193/-. We received the only 7 cartoons...

      Hi,

      My friend ordered some chocolates from me which came from Dublin. They are stuck with DHL since 22nd Jan’21.

      1. They did not contact me till 19th feb’21
      2. I received a letter from DHL on 19th feb at my address that they are going to abandon my shipment post which I reached out to them and they informed me to submit the KYC.
      3. I submitted the KYC documents on 19th feb itself. However my shipment was still not cleared.
      4. On 20th when I reached out to DHL they informed me to submit form 7 which I immediately did post which also my shipment was not cleared.
      5. On 22nd I again reached out to Dhl for the status of my shipment and then they asked me to pay Rs.2388 which included custom duty and warehouse charges. Paying custom duty is acceptable but 280Rs of warehouse charges which was charged to me was a complete fraud but since I had no option, I had to pay the same.
      6. Even after paying the money my shipment is still not cleared and I have received no confirmation from the dhl team for the delivery of my parcel.
      7. Ideally Dhl team should compensate me with my parcel worth Rs 2500+2388Rs which they charged me for fraud purposes. I request you to kindly support me as it is already a month since my parcel is stuck with them and there customer care keeps fooling me by providing a fraud reassurance that my shipment will be cleared and someone from their team will call me. Neither my shipment is cleared nor I have received any calls.
      8 I am hardworking professional and cannot spare much time on following up with dhl team daily. I request the consumer court to extend support.

      Also, Adding some additional information. As per the law of government. Custom duty is exempted for gift items worth Rs 5000. My parcel was sent as gift by my friend and the amount was of 28Euros= 2500INR. However, DHL did another fraud by charging me Rs.2388. I request you DHL team to refund my amount and deliver my parcel to me on priority.

      The Government has exempted gifts items received from foreign country to persons residing in India from the whole of custom duty under Foreign Trade Act. In the present scenario, import of goods up to the value of Rs. 5, 000/- is allowed as gift, duty free. This exemption is allowed only for bonafide gifts imported by air or post. For the purpose of calculation of this value of Rs. 5, 000/- the air freight or postal charges paid are not added. It is important to note that the value of Rs. 5, 000/- is the value of the goods in the country from where the goods have been dispatched. The sender may not necessarily be residing in the country from where the goods have been dispatched.

      Who can send the gifts?
      Any person living abroad can send a gift to an individual living in India. There is no specific restriction that only relatives can send the gift items. Business associated, friends, relatives, companies or acquaintances can also send the gifts to the people living in India.

        Hello atharva tradelink company send me anki vector and anki cozmo which value is $20.72 near about 1, 500 INR . I buy this product
        the company send it to me as a gift item for review .
        According to foreign trade act .The Government exempted gifts item received from foreign country to persons residing in India from the whole of the custom duty under foreign trade act . In the present scenario in the import of goods up to value os Rs 5000/-is allowed as gift, duty free .This exemption is allowed only for the bonafide gifts imported by air post for the purpose calculation of this value rs 5, 000/-the air flights or postal charges are not paid are not added in this important to note that value of rs 5, 000/-is the value of the goods in the country from where the goods have been dispatched . Is the value from where you bought or the product is send is not valued in India .

        Now you are charging me INR 5, 000 more than the price of the item itself as name of custom fees as the item is not custom-able . I am really very disappoint with DHL .

          Sir,

          On 28/1/2021 I had sent a document with Way bill No [protected] by paying an amount of Rs.4544.00 to my client Thomas John, 1202 Mazetti Road, Stroudsburg, P.A, 18360, U.S.A, It is with great grief that the document didn’t reached my client till now and the response from your staff is very pathetic.

          On 5/2/2021, I understood from my client that the document was delivered to a different town to a different person. My client communicated to me that DHL send a text message on 5/2/2021 stating that the package was dropped, when he looked outside, he didn’t find it. Then he went to the tracking site and they have a picture where they dropped off and it was a different town Snyderville. Immediately he called the customer service and notified them the mistake. They informed him, in order to retrieve the package a complaint has to come from the sender,

          This message was communicated to me on 5/2/2021, immediately on the same day I called DHL Customer care No [protected] at 11-21 A, M (6 min 15 seconds) and registered my complaint and on the same day (5/2/2021)visited “your track & trace inquiry “ site and registered a complaint and received an auto response mail. On 5/2/2021 I visited the DHL office, Mavelikara were the document was sent and informed all the details and they assured that they will take appropriate steps and inform me.

          To my utter disappointment no one above mentioned called or emailed me regarding the status. The documents were a P.A and some sale deed to file an injunction suit here and it was very important to me as a lawyer and the time of limitation to file the suit was running. On 9/10/2021, I again called [protected] (5 min -59 sec) they were not in a position to give a proper answer.

          Without any options left on 12.2.2021 (way bill No.[protected]) I prepared a new Power of attorney and forced to send to my client again which includes a lot of efforts and money

          So, you are liable to reimburse the cost inquired with compensatory cost for the mental agony and irreparable loss inquired immediately, otherwise I will be forced to take appropriate legal action against you.

          on 11/2/21 i submitted a complaint in www, dhlparcel.be/en/business/submit-claim but no response till now so that today i called [protected] they asked me to sent an email on customercare.[protected]@dhl, com it bounced, so registred a complaint here
          Till now no one called nor emailed
          Pls refund the amount with compensatory cost.
          Or I should file a complaint in consumer court for the damages.

            Hi Team,

            My AirwayBillNo.: [protected]. Despite multiple follow up calls and emails with DHL EXPRESS team, we are being provided any updates on the shipment. Everytime I call [protected], they say we will get an update soon over email or a callback within 2 hours and that does not happen. Request you to look into this and help resolve my issue.

              Even after repeated reminder for the past 10 days and escalation still by consignment was not delivered.

              There is no proper response on status till one day.

              This is worst Service and We will debit all the Revenue Loss and Amendment charges by customs to DHL team only

                This is to bring your attention that my parcel has been hold by DHL india due to non delivery zone mau Aima Allahabad 212507. previously DHL staff said send email to manish ayani to change address but he didnot take any action after long follow up they said we cannot release your parcel. i am surprised that mau Aima Allahabad UP not in india its seems that under POK. as we indian has right to ask parcel anywhere in india but DHL ignoring this point .so please i need favour to get my parcel

                  Sub shpt not deliver and us dhl not respons to consignee, consignee at dhl office to collect a parcel, but dhl staff not responsible. Us dhl staf said, no time to help him.

                    Bike transportation

                    I have booked my bike to transport from Pune to Indore. They had shared a quotation of rs 4000 and committed that this is maximum amount I have to pay. Their representative came and took my bike and also gave me bike pickup document. Then, I received a bill from DHL that is having 12000 rs. And, I have to pay to get my bike.

                    What is this looting and fraud?

                    Why amount raised from committed to 12000?...

                        Already paid whole amount of 44000/- for duty and taxes. As understood by customer care, Parcel laying in DHL Vikhroli godown mumbai.

                        DHL expecting us to pay duty and taxes once again. Also no response for the mails and follow ups sent!

                            AWB [protected] shipment received in India in October 2020. not delivered yet citing KYC documents are improper. all documents uploaded number of times got rejected.

                            We wonder if this is a scam that DHL staff share the shipment goods? especially when there is a new year compliments from big companies!

                              I have been told by a few friends that malpractice by DHL EXPRESS is coming into light, they're fleecing customers off by saying that we cannot trace your package and the CSIA Mumbai airport has the package and not DHL. I've been calling these guys relentlessly and same answer. I have read posts and figured this is a clear harassment tactic to get more money from us in Lieu of warehouse stocking charges which I'm not even responsible for. I'm putting this out in public light despite my package is still stuck for many weeks with them. If I am forced to pay over and extra for something that DHL says is the fault of customs despite paying higher shipment fee to DHL so the package could arrive for my baby's first Christmas then shame on these money fleecing thieving people. Never has FedEx done this to me. AWB-[protected]

                                I have imported a consignment( AWB no- [protected]) from Prestwick UK to Udaipur India.
                                Shipper- Ampcontrol UK ltd and Consignee- Avinash kumar( Ampcontrol Employees, based in Udaipur).
                                Shipment was picked up on 22/12/2020 and on 24/12/2020 it reached to New Delhi and today is 8/1/2021 but it is still pending for custom clearance. DHL team is not having a proper communication with customer and also there is no communication between UK and India DHL team.
                                We have already provided all the details to DHL but they are still asking for more and more unnecessary documentation. We have already paid custom duty but they asking for promise to pay documents.
                                We are really having worst experience of business with DHL this time.

                                  DHL stole my courier and now wont even respond

                                  DHL clearance agent Samta Sarge made excuses for 3 weeks just to steal my courier at the end of the day. My courier was only 4 lbs which is a courier, it can’t be cargo but after 3 weeks of sending her all documents and unnecessary paper work she said you have to hire customs clearance representative to get your 4lbs courier which is according to her understanding is cargo. DHL India specially DHL Mumbai is worst nightmare
