A courier sent for me frm pune booked from their pune branch office they said it'll be delievered by 14th of feb 2017 bt due their fault they sent the courier to delhi instead of lucknow to me due to whch i have faced some problem in submitting a document ( a reciept ) and experienced mental harrasment too i want now compensasion for my loss from the company

    Sent a express priority courier on Wednesday morning[protected] from chennai to Southampton U.K., which was supposed to reach on Friday before 12pm[protected], but hasn't reached, called up customer care the reply was " sometimes dhl can't deliver as there are few logistics issue on the ground - which is normal, so we will sure deliver soon, but can't tell u a date may be on Monday or later sir, don't worry sir" and there is no apology and no follow up .. instead I have been told this happens sometimes so please relax we will deliver for sure. For an express courier this response is pathetic, dhl is overrated and charging premium for their services .. this is really pathetic that customers are treated like this .

      We are a business house and our credibility lies in the fact that we keep our delivery promise to our customers .
      We sent a garment through Dhl express courier in mumbai to dubai and were promised that it would be delivered by thursday to our customer .
      However, it is not delivered by DHL express courier even though the parcel has reached dubai . Dhl gives us the lame excuse that there is work overload on friday 11am dubai time .
      Friday being a holiday, dhl says it would take another day .
      We are very sorry to say that we made a wrong decision of putting the credibility of our company in very wrong hands .
      DHL DOES NOT KEEP ITS PROMISES !!

        This is regarding AWP [protected], booked from china to india, on 25th feb 2017, i got call from from Dhl delivery person for confirming my delivery address and asking for custom duty to be paid at time of delivery . I agreed to pay without any problem . But at time of delivery i was asked to pay 700 rs additional amount as custom handling charges, actual customs duty was around rs50 only . Inspite of the fact actual amount of item is approx 600rs, custom duty is 46rs only. Later i am getting message from Dhl. If i don't pay that additional amount TheThis is regarding AWP [protected], booked from china to india, on 25th feb 2017, i got call from from Dhl delivery person for confirming my delivery address and asking for custom duty to be paid at time of delivery . I agreed to pay without any problem . But at time of delivery i was asked to pay 700 rs additional amount as custom handling charges, actual customs duty was around rs50 only . Inspite of the fact actual amount of item is approx 600rs, custom duty is 46rs only. Later i got message from them they will send the parcel back to sender .

          Dhl fraud.

          This is biggest fraud happened to me ever.
          I bought some goods, ie tv and sound system and tablets from us online stores and shipped via myus.com.
          Dhl picked up goods in 3 pcs, one of it contains "lithium battery" as contains all the tablets, specially ipads.

          After few days they delivered other 2 pcs to mumbai and 1 pc shipped back to usa from germany saying item contain "lithium battery", didn't you know before picked up goods?

          Don't you allow ipads to flight?

          Dhl returned my all shipping items to usa saying item contains "lithium batteries", then why dhl picked an item and ship and then returned from germany. And even they hold all other items and getting back to usa.

          I lost everything, my items worth $9800 as well as shipping charges $2099

I received call from your executive on 5th January 2017 and he was suppose to share the details thru email but till date I have not received any email & Information from your end without Airway Bill no and other info I cant fill up KYC, my email id is shared with your executive kindly look in to this matter & expedite

              DHL india courier . This company is a fraud company, please beware of this company. They are into courier and cargo logistics service provider. This company is regularly giving in the leading and leading for their franchise network on pan India basis for last few days back. The company is charging the huge amounts to appoint state franchisee, district franchisee, block franchisee, and small counters. After taking the booking amount like 10000 from there franchisees the locking period is 3, month for which they promise to develop the franchisee's surrounding defined area by making the block franchisee and counters under the state and district franchisee. Also they committed for an assured return of investment within the three months so that the each and every franchisee will start earning handsome amount. Also the company promised there franchisee's to fetch the courier business from local market and the corporate clients with the help of there business manager and team. But the company fails to keep any of its promises and commitments. The company is only interested in collecting the booking amount from its franchisees. The company is not providing the courier service to any of franchisee business partners, in starting they did but later on the company start neglecting their franchisees. Also the company (DHL india courier ) is not reliable to its employees. The company is appointing the employees as a designation of branch manager, area sales manager, channel sales manager, business development manager and etc and offered them the good salary packages and after one or two months of their working company fired them without intimating and without paying a single penny or salary to their employees by saying that they are not working properly.

                I sent one of my shipment from India to US via DHL express on 10th November 2016-AWB no. [protected]. Even after 1 month of continuous follow ups my Cargo is still available in India. DHL is asking for departure certificate to clear custom formalities, even though all the necessary certifications are obtained I received latest Email from DHL that my shipment has been rejected by Indian customs due to departure certificate issue.
                I am kindly requesting you to do further proceedings to send the cargo to US at earliest. Without this cargo it is very difficult for me to survive here in US.
                Please take this at high priority and resolve the issue at earliest.

                  Dear sir/Madam, i sent a courier on 19th day of November, 2016 at around 4 PM via APL Logistic Services which was around 16 KG and paid the amount over there to Mr.Mahesh moblie no. [protected] but the courier was not sent in one lot and was converted into two lots without my knowledge and inspection one lost consist of Cloths etc. and other lot consist of Food items etc. Further he assured my that there will not be any additional charges at the side of consignee/receiver and after sending the same he informed me that the parcel was converted into two parcels, i told him why he done so without my knowledge and if anything mission in my parcel who will be held responsible he told me that he will be responsible as he done the inspection before ceiling the same and assured that the same will be reached on or before 24th day of Nov. 2016 docket ID;s are [protected] and [protected] thereafter one parcel with Docket ID [protected] reached there with additional payment of 41.92 CAD i told the consignee not to receive the same as i was assured by the Agent that there will not be any duty on the parcels, thereafter he assured me to refund in case of any duty paid by me, on those basis i told the consignee/received to pay the same and receive the parcel no. 1, he had done the same and parcel no. 1 received at his end but after tracking the details of the other parcel i was amazed to see that it show the parcel returned to the sender i inquired on daily basis since 23rd day of November, 2016 till date and in between one other person comes in the conversation on phone named himself as Ansari having mobile no. [protected] and he after having some hot talks told me that it will be better now for you to take the same from the court route. As i am a law graduate as well as A qualified FCS i told him that it doesn't matter whether i received it from him or from court thereafter he told me that he made inquiry into and came to know that the same was on the way sent back to india and just 2 hrs away from Ontario and he made request over their to stop the same and sent it back to Ontario for delivery to the consignee/receiver and assured me that the consignment will definitely reach the receiver on or before 1st December, 2016 but till now it doesn't reached the destination.

                    I went to the DHL branch office in Coimbatore. To send a critical document.
                    After 2days I was informed that the parcel can't be sent so i should come for the parcels. I was asked to provide my account details for the refund of my money of which I did including my contact number. After 4 days the refund had not reflected in my account. I went there to enquire why I was told told the IFS code I provided was incomplete. I gave them the code again they told me I will receive the money in 2days.
                    IF HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS NOW since my document was returned to me and till now the refund has not reflected in my account.
                    Has been calling the office and they keep telling me stories. And even now they are not answering my call. How long does it take to make a bank transfer between 2 different banks?

                      I went to Anna nagar, DHL Express to send a courier to Canada ( WES ) . I asked the lady if there is student discount for this. She said " no " . I actually availed this offer a few days before this incident took place in Hyderabad. So I asked her to give me the nearest address for another DHL Express. She gave me. I went there and asked them straight away if there is student discount for the courier I wanted to sent.The person checked her computer and said yes.

                      Please DHL Express hire people who have thorough knowledge. Unnecessary I had to roam because of the lady in Anna Nagar, Chintamani, Chennai.

                        Hi All,
                        I sent a shoe for my brother from UK to India via DHL service in UK. After 15 days they are saying that the parcel is detained at the bangalore kempegowda airport since the customs charges are not paid. I called DHL india and asked them, they are telling that the charge is INR 3175 for the shoe which i sent. The shoe cost itself is not that much.
                        Ok as per the customs rules, the import duty is 10% of the assessed value. The value assessed by the customs department is INR 8662 (it was originally £ 36 in UK). So 10% of it is INR 870. But there is some other value mentioned in the bill saying that "Value for Additional Duty" and added that INR 870 + INR 8662 = INR 9528. Now for that again CES and ADC are INR 61 and INR 432.
                        In total, the duty is INR 2550.
                        As per the duty calculators, the duty is around 10-13% only. Why there is an additional value charged? And why DHL is saying that it is INR 3175 which is still more than the customs charges.

                        I was'nt informed of any of this before the services.

                        I want to know the in and out of all these charges and i am confident that these ppl have put some extra charges for their mistakes and trying to cover that up with the customs charges.

                          This is regarding the shipment no. [protected]. as per the status on DHL tracking it is showing as the item was sent by delivery boy on 27-Aug-16 and the status is refuted because of payment declined. I was shocked to see this status as I did not see any delivery boy coming to my home, neither i did get call from him. After this I called DHL helpline same day in the evening and complained them about wrong status. DHL helpline told that they will check and get back to me. But nothing has happened next day also. After 2days on 29-Aug-16, I called DHL helpline again and informed about the issue. He told he will check with the services and get back to me. But again nothing happened. I dont understand why DHL is putting false updates on the sites and creating problem for customers. Please try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. I am tired of calling DHL people 3 times and hearing the same useless status "we will check and get back to you". Please do some needful thing instead of providing useless status over phone.

                            I have sent one parcel from new zealand with dhl express on 2/08/2016. As per the policy it says that my parcel should be deliver within 5 to 10 working days. I can see the status online that it is shoeing processing but they are not realsing my parcel i rang them everyday and i got the same response that yes it should be deliver within few days. But i can see still to date it is showing the status processing. They asked me to submit /kyc which i did on same day but still dont know what is the problem. Why company is not realasing my parcel

                              As i was in rome for 2 months i had misplaced my reading glasses, so i had told my fried to send me on through courier. He sent it through dhl express. As the shipment reached rome, i was told by dhl in rome that i had to pay approx. 90 euros to clear the shipment for which i refused and told them to re-ship back to mumbai. The dhl representative in rome called me and said that the shipment has been sent back to mumbai.

                              When i reached mumbai i called dhl express to find the status of my shipment, i called on dhl no. [protected] three times and they had no idea where the shipment is. But before leaving rome, i had received a phone call from dhl rome that the shipment was in mumbai.

                              Now what should i do. I am fed up and want to take action against dhl express. Please advice.

                                This is Nikunj Suvagia from ahmedabad.
                                I requst for 1 kg sample pickup from spain to Ahmedabad, for thati all ready paid you charge 6000 rs.
                                Pick Ref : cbj[protected]

                                Now dhl branch ask for 4000rs extra charge for additional wait for packing which is 3 kg extra cause my sample is only 1 kg.

                                And also ask for 1100 rs custom duty while product cost is only 20 rs perkg so how it is possible that the custom charge is higher then product cost.

                                We also request for proof of custom and extra weight but answer from your site is not very satisfy me.

                                By providing this kind of service you will loose your valuable customer

                                  My son has sent my used clothes that i have forgot to get while returning from us and the saree worth is 8000 when bought but they are demanding for 14000 rupees to release the packet in the name of customs and when i have asked for the recipt given by customs while taking the payment, then they send me a invoice and bluff around stating thats the one and the attitude is disgusting and its clearly understood that they are bluffing around and when asked what is the next step, then the lady sarcastically laughs and says that if i dont collect the product, then after 30 days they will keep it and says that no one will ever have a right to claim it! These people sound so desparate to nick things but are not here for making customer base.

                                    With ref to awb no [protected] the courier was delivery on 06.06.2016 by paying rs 756.00 vide your invoice no d66451837 custom & your handling fee of rs 500.00 along with service tax. Which is total wrong of your company charging rs 500.00 handling fee which is not at all fair.
                                    As you are taking courier for delivery its your company part to clear the courier from custom or your company should not promise to delivery the courier at door .

                                      OK I loved dhl years ago and then slowly their service went bad to worse, I was a regular use of dhl while I used it to send gifts to Australia from India. They lost my item twice and once my item was in Austria instead of Australia. The next time it was delivered to wrong address completely and the person who they delivered too stole few of the items from the box. So I said to myself that's it. And stopped using dhl altogether. This year I've been ordering online clothes etc for personal use. But amazingly even though I've paid shipping, once the goods are in the facility here they call and inform me I have to pay so and so amount if I want my goods to be handed over. I ask them why so they say custom fees, the shocking part is the custom fee is just 500 rupees but this people in june gave me a receipt of 700 change and then came another parcel same month again 700 plus and just yesterday got another call I have to pay 1900 change rupees if I want my parcel while I paid only$40 for my online purchase while the same amount of things have come from the same online shopping website from the US. Amazing they are looters big time. Last month I ordered lenses from the UK and was more expensive site then the clothes I bought from US but the UK website did not use dhl as their courier, I did not get charged any custom duty or delivery charge from that courier. DHL is a big fraud, looting and cheating people of their hard earned money. They should be ashamed, that is all. I've contacted and requested the websites to not use dhl as their international courier service
