I have send parcel India to Italy for 41kgs home made food. But without any knowing Indian DHL agents moved to Italy but that customs refused impact return to shipper. But it's been one month that shipper is under customs department nothing moving who is the responsibility they reply by email by onle one per day it's awe number is [protected]

    I had ordered a shipment from Singapore. On arrival in Bangalore, DHL reached out to me asking me to complete the KYC and pay the tax/duty. I completed the KYC on their secure portal by providing the required documents. DHL approved the KYC documents and sent a mail regarding the same.

    Today, the delivery agent came to my place to deliver the package. He delivered the package and asked me to write my Adhar number on some paper he had. I was uncomfortable giving him sensitive information and told him that I had already completed the KYC online and it was approved. I proceeded to show him the email. He refused to even look at it and demanded that I write my adhar or return the package. I asked him to call him superior - he did so and the "manager" told me that I will have to give him my adhar as well. This turned into an argument and he started yelling in front of my house and threatening that he would go to the police.

    Eventually, this was resolved by him generating an OTP that I had to verify. But, not before he created a big scene in front of my house unnecessarily.

    While I understand that he might have been trying to do his job, here are a few questions for DHL
    - Why does a delivery agent need to take down sensitive information from us when all of the KYC is being processed online in a secure manner? As a company do you not understand that Adhar/PAN card is private information? How can you instruct your employees to force people to give it to them? And threaten them for not doing so?
    - Your employees are far from polite. They were borderline harassing us for not giving them our "sensitive" information.
    - Why did he not just generate an OTP to start with and forced us to provide something that was never needed in the first place?

      It is in reference to DHL Shipment#[protected]. On arrival at Mumbai port, I was informed about Custom Duty Assessment which was INR 12, 659 on 4 Feb 22, Evidence Attached as Appendix A. I even called up customer service and was not informed about any additional fees. On 07 Feb 22, I again called them to confirm if any action/payment was to be done at my end and I was informed that no action was required. On 09 Feb, I am being informed that I have to pay INR 13, 667 Evidence is attached as Appendix B. I was informed that Payment Deferment Charges have been levied. I was not informed about any such charges earlier. There was no transparency in billing and is being used to kind of blackmail as "Pay 13667 and get your package". Request resolution.

        My package was sent to sweden and returned to India in a week. But The return package came to India on the 15th jan and I still dont have the package with me nor the reason to what documentation is required on a return package? Is there is a follow up mechanism or will keep the package for years together with no followup? The DHL tracking page does not say wat documents are needed and the Info.[protected]@dhl.com and Maa.[protected]@dhl.com has no idea about the procedures to respond to emails. Not sure what is wrong with INDIA DHL. SWEDISH DHL was quick to respond to emails and calls. I AM HIGHLY FRUSTURATED-

        I am not sure how a package was sent in the first place not knowing the destination country guidelines and it is truly a bad experience and water of money.

          Found that it reached Bangalore on 28 th night and the whole of 29 th Jan it is in Bangalore
          Not sure if there was no flight from bangaa as lore the Chennai the whole day ? Why is the delay ? What is the reason for the delay ? If we call customer care they are just reading the travking status which I css as n also do . No additional information I’d given by them
          That is a urgent document which I need

            I have received a notice from DHL to provide an invoice copy of the parcel. I don't have an invoice copy, the shipper has not provided any. I am the recipient and may not be responsible for anything which I have not received. Please connect to the Agent with whom you may have the agreement, to get this information.

              I have been asking for my MWAB copy and they never replied to that email and then charged customs and duty of 49 k for products which I bought from India in India rupee where I have even submitted them the bills of the products for proof of purchase from India. These items were my personal belongings for more than 2 years so it’s almost very much used products for that they blindly charging on my custom fee. I came from UK due to health conditions and it was an emergency so sent it through a courier parcel . And this where I ended up. Kindly help me on this to waive my duty and fees on the items which are my personal items using for years and brought from India.

                Dear Sir,
                Ref: DHL tracking no.[protected]

                Vide CBEXIII_BOM_[protected]_0601_17476, the imported goods, Inline Skates purchased through my credit card account for my son, who is autistic handicapped person with 80% disability. The disability certificate is also attached for your consideration. These are specially procured for his size, which helps him for mobility. I expected that these items are eligible to concessional rakes of duty for handicapped persons vide SI.No. 78 of Customs Notification No. 50/2017 - Cus dated 30.06.2017 ( Sl No. B or 9 of list 30), attracting effective rate of BCD 5% IGST 5% and SWS 0.5%, total being 10.775% of landed cost i.e. Rs. 17726/-. That works out of duty of Rs. 1909.97/-. However, you charged duty at the highest rate at 77.28%, maybe considering it as a gift. The imported item is not a gift. It is purchased through my credit card account, for personal consumption of my autistic son. The personal goods generally attract duty of 42.08% (BCD 10%+SWS 10%+IGST 28%) vide Sl.No 608 of the above notification.

                I request you kindly extend the concessional rate of 10.775% eligible to handicapped disable person, as the goods are specially procured for my autistic son.

                Otherwise, at least consider them as personal goods and apply a duty of 42.08%.

                The levy of highest duty at 77.28% is not justifiable on any grounds.
                I request you to chase it with Customs on my behalf.

                  This is regarding AWB# [protected]

                  "The Disbursement Fee is levied as Rs. 550 or 2.5% of duty whichever is higher. " - DHL India

                  But I have been charged 749.1265 Rs as "Disbursement FEE" and when I asked why it is 749.1265 Rs and not ' 550 Rs ' or 2.5 % of duty as in my case 550 Rs will be higher, then they stop replying to emails.

                  Also, the invoice sent by DHL India did not show any custom fee and the only fee mentioned is "Bonded Storage" which also is the DHL India Kyc team fault as they keep asking for 'AD Code from Icegate' for importing of sample product in India and keep telling me that it is compulsory but when I asked to send me the documents stating the same, they agreed to take 'Bank AD Code' also and this whole process took 10-15 days as DHL India Kyc team keep repeating the same lies and disconnected my call multiple time. Also, note that I have not received that supporting document yet.

                      Address: DHL EXPRESS Plot no-66, Road no.13 MIDC, Andheri (East) Mumbai 400093.

                      I sent a parcel to Mumbai through DHL to my parents from Syndey. DHL india contacted my mother and said that the package was in customs and could not be processed. When asked why they said it was because of a necklace (a $20 necklace) I had declared and put in the parcel.
                      I sent them the invoice for the same and they proceeded to say that the only way the package could be processed was by changing the parcel from COURIER to CARGO.
                      They told us we had to appoint a CHA to clear this parcel.
                      Upon repeated insistence to switch the parcel from COURIER to CARGO we finally did this then they instructed us to find and appoint a CHA. During this process they said the only fee we would have to pay was rs. 3717.
                      After writing the letter and putting the CHA in touch with DHL, they send us a quote of Rs 20000.
                      I asked why would we pay that amount for a package that was worth rs. 4500. They insisted that was the only way.
                      I called the CHA to find out what was going on and after repeated insistence, she gave the phone to her boss who said that, in truth he had to pay the customs officers underhand to get the parcel out. I asked why DHL india would put us through this process saying it was all official. He said that's just the way it is. I have since fired the CHA agent and gotten a refund.
                      I have emailed DHL india asking for a full refund for the cost of sending the package on account of providing illegal and inappropriate information.
                      I believe these individuals are personally responsible for the above mentioned misdeeds: Mr. Suresh Kumar, Mr Nikhil Bhikule and now Mr Naresh Rajput.
                      They are in all the emails attached.
                      I understand the duties and responsibilities of Customs officers but I do not believe these individuals had any intent of taking me through the official customs process.
                      They were out to make money.
                      I would appreciate assistance in this matter, I am not so much concerned about the parcel as I am at the gross misconduct of the above mentioned individuals and DHL india. I paid for services of delivery of goods, I followed guidelines as instructed by DHL Australia when sending the goods. As the worth of the necklace was only AU$20 ( rs. 4500 approx), DHL Australia advised it was not in breach of any customs regulations and as an alloy metal it is not considered a precious metal.
                      Please help in bringing these individuals to justice

                        Hello
                        I am being asked to pay duty on the freight charges even though it's clearly mentioned in the commercial invoice. Why is DHL levying duty on freight and not releasing my goods? Added the snapshot of the invoice. As you can see value of goods is 169gbp but duty is levied on the entire amount including freight. Would like to escalate

                          My parcel : [protected] that I sent in October to my family in India for Diwali has not yet been sent to them . I have send them all the documents and information they needed so far, but no luck . They even charged me extra for excess baggage without informing me . Their customer service is very disappointing with everyone in the team giving us different information about what is required to clear and send the parcel . I have also asked that they send me proof that my parcel is still with them and intact, but no luck . Any help you can provide to clear and send my parcel to my family will be much appreciated.

                            Folks - Stay away from DHL express india, DHL is a worst service in the world, especially India DHL service associates are thieves, they are hiding our packages at their airport facilities, after several months they are coming up with fines, storage charges..etc they’re also ready to creating any king of fake invoices with Government payment challan number in a small corner, then your bill becomes minimum 3x of your item cost .
                            If you prepay duty and tax one kind treatment, if you don’t pay or tax exemption of your item there will be another kind of treatment with you, There’s no way you get rid of it.. Better stay away from this business..

                              Dear Sir / Madam

                              I'm a VERY SEVERE PATIENT and I am undergoing complex treatment for bacterial overgrowth. I'm in wheelchair and bedbound.

                              I ordered some medicines
                              I'm writing to you regarding my antibiotic medicines which I ordered from Russia through DHL. I paid Rs 20, 000 for this.

                              My medicines arrived in Delhi Airport on 16 Dec. Till today- 27 Dec, DHL has not provided sufficient information on what is required to clear the medications. I have mailed them all my medical reports, all hospital reports, Invoice etc

                              I have called Call Center more than 20 times. No one gives clear information. I need those medicines urgently.

                                I have ordered my medicines from abroad for complex bacterial treatment. It is in Delhi since 16 Dec send DHL has not yet given to me

                                Their coordination, clearance, customer information is very poor. I have given them all details, paper work more than 1 week.

                                I paid Rs 20, 000 for this delivery. So far no one from DHL giving clear answer.

                                  I have food samples sent from Philippines the last updat ei have from DHL is Dec 02 2021 all i have gotten from DHL since then is someone will call me back with an update. I time i try to speak to someone who is incharge including a supervisor all i get is i will get a call back, or no i cant share any email or contat information.
                                  This is for their fearless ceo you can run but you cant hide lame duck R.S Subramaniam get your thumb out and arrange my delivery if you cant shut up shop and leave spare Bharath your horrible service

                                    Expreinced pathectic service from DHL, they are not willing to call if customer is not available or recieve the call.
                                    It could be great if DHL improve their customer service department and their phone numbers active.

                                      Company is charging me more than 2x the price of item as Custom Duty

                                      Price of Product - 18.7 USD =1403 INR
                                      Price of our lovely DHL express shipping - 58.7 USD = 4406 INR
                                      The product was in custom clearance event for 6 days in which they asked me few documents on first day which i gave on the same day
                                      then after 5 days asked one more document which i gave on the next day
                                      Now after 6 long days i get an email which says pay 3710 INR as custom Dutybr...
